[Events in the manga]
(There was a pair of eyes in the darkness.
It was looking in one direction, with a woman's screams in the background.
The owner of the eyes in the darkness was a small child.
The nurse said, "Guts, wait outside. This disease might be contagious. If you catch it, you might die too".
The boy, named Guts, would not leave the place where the sick woman was.
Guts looked in the direction of the sick woman. This was the woman who had taken him away from his dead mother many years ago. For 3 years, Shizu had taken care of Guts as if he was her own child.
But his current condition was pitiful. It looked as if her face had melted and flowed down.
Shizu called out, "Guts". Then she extended her hand to Guts.
Guts went to the woman he saw as his dying mother. Despite the danger of the virus, he held her hands.
After Shizu Guts came to him, the only thing he could say was Guts' name.)

The group watching Guts' life didn't know what to say.
But what they did know was that when Guts was a child, he had seen such a terrible sight.
If a normal 3-year-old child saw such a picture, it was not possible for him to survive the traumas of his future life.
Kushina said, "I have only one fear now. Gambino, please don't see Guts as a source of bad luck. "
Those in the room knew that Kushina had been considered a source of bad luck in the past. After all, she was the bearer of the Nine-Tailed Demon.
They went back to reading a new page before Kushina remembered a past trauma.

(3 years had passed since Shizu's death.
Guts was now 6 years old.
He had been with Gambino and his mercenary group for the past 3 years.
Guts was now with Gambino in a castle battle.
Gambino shouted "Guts, give me my spear".
Guts gave Gambino the spear in the best way a 6 year old boy could.
But Gambino was not satisfied with Guts' speed.
Gambino shouted, "Faster!"
Then Guts grabbed the spear and plunged it into the charging Suver's stomach.
The cavalryman, his stomach pierced, quickly fell towards Guts on his horse.
Guts screamed that he was sitting on a dead man.
Seeing Guts screaming, Gambino struck Guts in the jaw with the back end of his spear.
Gambino: "What are you waiting for?" "You want me dead?"
"Do I feed you for nothing?
"If I die, you die."
After hearing Gambino's words, Guts looked at Gambino with sore eyes.
Gambino: "Why are you looking like that?" "If you're unhappy, go to the front"
"And die at the front."
"Why did Shizu take you with her?"

Kushina's eyes were wide open. These were the words she had heard in her past.
She had heard them from the villagers.
"Why did Hokage-sama let that demon into the village?"
"Why is that cursed demon girl in our village?"
"Why doesn't Hokage-sama kill the demon girl?"
He had heard dozens of variations. But in the end, they all meant the same.
Minato didn't know how to calm Kushina at the moment. The red habanero of Konoha had always stood tall, despite those who spoke ill of her.
Sometimes, Minato had seen her get depressed when she was alone. But he had never seen her completely withdrawn like this.
Tsunade: "Sensei, why do you let people in your village do this?"
Tsunade was angry now. Ksuhina was nearly his last relative. She thought she would be safe as long as she stayed in Konoha. So she didn't really care.
But that was no longer the case. The girl seemed to be suffering from several mental traumas, big and small.
Slowly, he approached her and put his hand on Kushina's forehead. Kushina's whole world seemed to stop for a moment.
Tsunade turned to Minato, "She's unconscious. We'll figure out how to calm her down when she wakes up."
Jiraiya: "For now, let's read the book again."
"If there is something that could trigger Kushina's trauma, we won't show it to her."
Orochimaru: "Who will read it if our previous reader passes out from the trauma?"
Minato, "Shall I continue reading then?"
Tsunade grabbed the book out of Minatos hand.
Tsunade, "I'll read it."
Since Tsunade seemed too enthusiastic, no one in the room was brave enough to contradict her.

(Where the tents of the mercenary group were, two people were fighting with swords.
The rest of the mercenaries were watching.
The two people fighting were Gambino and Guts. Gambino had the sword he used in fights in his hand, while Guts had a sword as big as his own height.
Gambino seemed to be teaching Guts how to use the sword, but in reality he was just trying to hit Guts.
After dodging Guts' sword, Gambino kneed Guts in the stomach, causing Guts to gasp and fall to the ground.
Soldier A: "Gambino, aren't you being too rough on a 6-year-old boy?"
Gambino, "I'm not feeding him for free, we're mercenaries."
"He has to earn his food."
Soldier A, "Guts, by the way, I think you should find a weapon your own size."
Guts shouted "NO!!!!" and picked up the sword that was too heavy for him. Then he began to attack Gambino again.
As Guts continued to clash with Gambino, he momentarily saw a gap in Gambino's defence.
He lunged at the gap and thrust his sword forward, perpendicular to Gambino's head.
Gambino was slow to react, not expecting Guts to make such a move. As a result, his face was cut from his chin to below his eye.
In a moment of rage, Gambino swung his sword at Guts' head. This attack cut deeply into the tip of Guts' nose.
Soldier A: "You're exaggerating, Gambino.
Gambino: "I exaggerate as much as I have to."
Guts was knocked out by the sword attack.
When Guts woke up, he was in a tent.
*It's hot, it's hot, it's hot.
*It's like someone's pushing a blazing fire in my face.
*The blood clogged my nostrils.
Guts could hear the soldiers talking around him.
"How long are we going to feed him?"
"Have you heard where he was born? His mother was dead when he was born."
"I think that's why Shizu died, because she was cursed."
Guts' eyes were wide open after hearing this conversation.
He started to look around and saw his sword there and wrapped it tightly in his lap and started to sleep like that).

Tsunade: "How dare that bastard treat a child like that.
Minato, "Tsunade-sama, please calm down. You'll wake Kushina."
Jiraiya: "What a big deal for a little boy."
Orochimaru: "The story will probably get worse.
"There will even be events that will make what happened here seem insignificant. Or we won't see the Black Swordsman from the first book."
Hiruzen: "You're right, it's a good thing that Kushina is sleeping, otherwise I don't know how she would react.
Tsunade: "Shut up. I'll go back to reading."

Writing a chapter is really hard work.
When I started, I thought, if these guys can do it, why can't I?
But the longer the chapter gets, the harder it gets.
I'm really scared when I think about how tired I would get if I wrote an original book instead of fanfic.
But it's still a lot of fun. It's like you're in control of the whole world.
It's fun to feel like that, even for a few hours in my ridiculously stupid life.
