14 Sparring Accident

The sunlight shines above everyone but it's not the reason why everyone's sweating while the wind slowly blowing the dust around. All of the students in the Academy's Armory are focused on what is about to happen. Ai, a genius has-been and the son of the past Head Leader of Black petal Clan is about to fight Kiri, the son of the current Head Leader of Black Fist Clan.

Ai proposed the sparring but can he really fight Kiri who just have beaten most of his classmates alone, not even using his Qi? A one on one fight against Kiri, a level 6 disciple, will be hard for Ai who's a level 5 disciple. A difference of only 1 level is really not that great but Kiri also got good knuckle weapon mastery and techniques while Ai seems to be undecided about what weapon to use.

*SPIT* "I think you already have forgotten your place after that Amazon saved you." Kiri thinks that Ai, improving a leap of level, won't still stand a chance against him. He's still a level stronger than Ai and even has a weapon that really suits his fighting style.

As pissed as Nin may be, she really wants to see if Ai made the right decision of provoking his bully. So she wants to stay out of it as much as possible.

"Well, I still remember the times I beat you every time we fight before. Though it wasn't really a match considering you're only level 2 disciple while I was level 5 disciple at that time." Ai, used to spar with Kiri before the war but everything has changed when Ai lost his Qi Cultivation progress.

"Reminiscing, are you? The past is the past. You're not the same as before and now, you're just a disgrace. Pick up a weapon because I won't be holding back." If Kiri goes full force, even with a weapon, there's a high chance it won't help him at all. From the technique he showed using his Qi, getting hit by that might even kill Ai.

"I'm sure you won't, isn't that what you really want, To beat the hell out me? Whatever happens here, let's just say it was just a sparring accident." Ai, seems to be getting ahead of himself.

'Where is he getting this kind of confidence? This idiot must be asking for his death!' Kiri waited for a day like this. Since young Ai lost his cultivation progress before, Kiri wanted to fight with him but Ai didn't only lose his progress but he also lost his will to live. All Kiri wanted was a real fight against his rival once more.

"Then, let's start. BLACK FIST ART! HANDS OF FORCE!" Kiri used the signature move of the Black Fist Arts which increases their offensive strength significantly.

'Hands of force, huh... I heard of this from my teacher before. He said that it's a double edge technique significantly increasing one's power but the drawback is it requires a breath for using a powerful attack for releasing too much Qi.' Nin heard her master right. Releasing an attack using Hands of Force should kill the target or else, the enemy has a chance to counter.

"Brother! You shouldn't use that. You haven't mastered it yet!" Sha, trying to stop her brother before it gets any worse knowing he hasn't fully learned it yet.

"Even if you ask me not to, he asked for it." Getting ready, Kiri is about to move. He can't let his attack miss or Ai might be able to counter.

Sha couldn't stop both of them and all she could do is watch both of them fight each other. It's Ai's decision that's why she can't interfere... she doesn't want to involve herself too much with him after what she saw... even living with her... it's too indecent for her... while Ai has no clue at all.

"Then let's get started. BLACK PETAL ARTS! SINGLE PETAL!" Ai... on the other hand, hid his left hand behind his back and now only uses one hand. Unlike Hands of Force that has a destructive power with a weakness of vulnerability of a single breath using both hands, Single Petal, a common Black Petal Art, gives significant strength to a single hand but his whole body would be vulnerable and defenseless to all kinds of attacks being Ai's Qi points are all closed except Qi Core point and his Qi point on his hand.

'Did he somehow figured out what my teacher did to him? Using that move only focuses his Qi to one of his hands but not only that, my teacher opened his Qi point which is located to his right hand... this must be a coincidence...' Ai's hand emits a significant amount of Qi.

"That art... I remember you always use that on me and it feels like you're underestimating me only using one hand! That move always pisses me off!" Kiri is enraged. So, it was just a coincidence after all.

*SWOOOOOSH!* One step made Kiri reach Ai so quickly. Unlike Ai who only has Qi to his hand, Kiri still Qi all over his body giving him a huge advantage now.

Kiri launched a straight strike towards Ai! *BAAAAAAM!* but it was blocked by Ai's right palm successfully. It was just a weak strike, trying to hold back not to kill Ai, but it still caused a shockwave making a loud noise. He didn't expect that even using a knuckle weapon plus Hands of Force, Ai didn't even budge from that attack.

"Just like before, Kiri." A normal strike just to test if Ai is really capable of blocking his attack. No need to take a breath for Kiri.

"Don't get too cocky..." Turning around, swiftly ducking and launched an attack from below, Kiri is aiming for Ai's legs knowing Ai can only use his right hand.

Ai saw through what he's about to do so he put force to his hand and hit the ground sending him flying upwards.

*SWOOOOSH!* Ai basically used his hand to jump knowing his legs couldn't do that much.

"What?!" Missing using another attack, he still won't need to breathe but his next will be his last chance to attack or else he would be vulnerable and needs at least one breathe to make another move.

'Now there's no way you could dodge my attack!' Knowing that Ai is currently in mid-air, he won't be able to dodge his next move so he pulled both of his hand back and prepared to attack again but this time, he's going to use a power one.

"TWO KNUCKLE FORCE!" The same art he used to show off, combined with Hands of Force, he's practically going for the overkill using a long-ranged attack powered by black Qi.

A whirlwind of Qi force is about to hit young Ai. But...

Ai closed his eyes and readied his right hand. "BLACK PETAL ART! PETAL PALM!" A force of black Qi was created in a figure on huge hand in front of Ai. He's planning to block the attack of Kiri.

*SWOOOOOOSH* The force Kiri released hit Ai's defense but it won't pass through Ai's defense!

'How could he block my attack! A bit more force!' Kiri released more of his Qi empowering his attack even more and so...

'Shit... I'm getting pushed back. This will end badly for me...' Ai, still trying to maintain his defense but cracks can now be seen, Kiri's Qi force passes through Ai's defense and he's getting wounds all over his body...

'Ugh...' I didn't expect that his attack could be this powerful.' Ai wasn't really prepared for this kind of attack. But seeing Kiri using everything he has, it felt nostalgic for him.

But Ai getting injured, Kiri wants some more. 'More!' Kiri is giving it all but he forgot about his weakness. He exhausted his Qi and now lost his Qi force.

*BREATHES* 'Shit!' His attack disappeared after long breathing and so...

Ai finally reached the ground after Kiri's attack stopped.

"I guess that's it for now. Thank you-"

"Shut up! We're not done yet!" *HEAVY BREATHING* Kiri moved forward to continue the battle but he felt pain all over his body and before he could make another step, he fell down.

"Brother!" Sha rushed towards his brother, breathing heavily and gasping for air, she saw that he used too much Qi.

"I told you, you shouldn't use it yet... we need to find our teacher! Please call our teacher!" Sha, calling for help, her classmates won't even move.

'You asshole, you deserved this.'

'Son of the Head Leader, my ass. No one will help you here'

'What a lucky day to see the death of him'

Everyone has their own grudges against him and not a single one wanted to help.

"Shit... what the hell happened to him? Kin, could you give us a hand here?" Ai, worried about his rival's life, rushed to check the condition of Kiri.

'Ugh... Why even bother... fine' Nin really hates the guy for calling her names but she has no choice when it comes to her brother.

"Let me check..." Focusing her Qi, she can see that the Qi all over Kiri's body is getting weaker. He exhausted all of his Qi points and now he's basically running out of Qi.

"BLACK PETAL ARTS! TEMPORARY SEALING!" She prepared her Qi towards her two fingers and swiftly tapped them towards 2 of Kiri's Qi points location from both of his hands.

'What move is that? She's using a move almost the same as my Father...' A blurry memory somehow appeared in Ai's mind after he felt familiar art...

"The art he used is strong but it requires a significant amount of Qi. Not to mention, Hands of Force requires continues usage of Qi to maintain and that is why he's suffering now. Don't worry, he will be ok after I sealed his Qi points temporarily that causes this problem. Once he's better, the seal will be canceled by itself." Temporary Sealing Arts are rare types of techniques that require at least a Master Rank to learn.

'How can she know about Qi points... was she supposed to be in 1 Star Class at all?' Even for a genius-level like Sha, she knows the difference between them.

"Thank you for saving my brother's life. I hope you can forgive his actions today and I hope the teacher won't know about-"

"What should I not know about?" Speaking of the devil... the teacher arrived and nobody didn't even notice her presence.
