54 Hundred Heads (2)

Mikayla is sitting while reading a book. The moon already high in the sky. Due to the abnormality that happens previous night their hunting ground is being sealed by the government. A new hunting ground will be issued tomorrow.

Jason comes into the room and put a plate of biscuit and a warm tea. He keeps glancing at Mikayla, noticing the glance Mikayla turns his head towards Jason.

"What's wrong?"

"Young master, what are you doing?"

"I'm reading a book. Why?"

"What kind of book?"

"Oh! nothing just a spellbook that I found." Mikayla directly closes the book. He did not want Jason to see the content.

Jason put his hand on Mikayla's hand. "What book are you reading?"

Mikayla eyes almost pop out. [So this is the reason that Jason keeps asking me. He can't even touch the book, the book just past through him like putting the hand in front of the projectile. He probably can't see it. This spellbook is a guide given to me by the little Wings.]

"Jason, it is a special spellbook. Exclusive for its owner."

"Young Master, you seem to be hiding something from me."

"Nonsense! Why would I hide something from you? I didn't hide anything from you. [Except for the world behind the door.]

"Young Master, it is best to not mingle with the wrong people." Jason is worried because based on the reports, his young master did not meet anyone suspicious but then how did he have something that he doesn't know. He arranged and supply everything that Mikayla used and eat but where did the book come from?

"Don't worry Jason. You can go now." Reluctantly Jason get out from the room.

Mikayla keep reading the book until he read a few sentences " This world is an independent dimension that capable to function itself but the owner has to have strong magical power to unlock all the functions in the world and subdue all the inhabitant."

"Assistance will be given to the owner if he is counter any danger. Assistance will be given based on the degree of danger.

Level S and below : Magical booster up to 5x (Able to summon the guardians if necessary)

Level SS : Able to summon any creature from any land except the Land Of Fairytale

Level SSS : Able to summon any creature from any land without any exception

Reading that sentences makes Mikayla frown. Who are the other creature? He only saw the little Wings and the slaves. He writes on the book at a special page. This page serves as a medium to send text to the little Wings. After his magical power reach Grade B, he able to communicate via telepathy with the Little Wings.

"I read the book and it said I will be able to summon the creatures in that world if I counter any danger but I didn't see any other creatures when I visited the lands with you guys."

A few seconds later a reply is written " Master it is because your magical power is too low that you were unable to see them. Master, if you rise at least to Grade C you will be able to see ordinary creatures in those land."

Mikayla mouth twitches not knowing to laugh or to scream curses. Grade D is actually too weak to see ordinary creatures in that world. Grade D is considered quite good among ordinary magician because the lowest is Grade F.

A low sigh can be heard from Mikayla. He closes the book and decided to practice. He is unable to sit after knowing the standard of the world. Old Fredric may have gifted the world to him but it is up to his ability to conquer it.

On the next day, the Blade Family receives their new location for hunting. There is no news regarding the strange phenomena and the government still searching the culprit. Mikayla did not worry about the previous incident, he only cares about the hundred heads that he needs to make sure the twins can stay with him.

Joining Federica's team Mikayla start his hunting. He kills without hesitation. He tries to kill his victims as fast as he can. After the fifth night, Mikayla is hunting non-stop. He keeps killing until rows of head floating behind him showing his might. His body starts to radiate a killing aura and his amber eyes are sharp and cold just like the vampires.

Jason and the other servants monitor his achievement and they are satisfied with Mikayla performance. During the hunting, Mikayla magical power raised another level that is to the high-Grade D.

Today is the last day of the hunting day. Mikayla uses his sword to directly stab a hunter right at the heart from behind. He rotated his sword a few times before pulling his sword. He will not leave any chances for his victim to retaliate. Before the victim fall to the ground, Mikayla decapitates the head and that head enters the rows of head. With this head hundred heads mission is fulfilled.

Mikayla sits on the tree branch and after rested for fifteen minutes he starts singing Rinne Rondo with a low voice. His singing blended with other sound and not easily notices by other people. This song function is to create a clone for oneself but the disadvantage of this spell is every clone that created will makes Mikayla having imbalance emotion for a few days and the clone have their own mind. For now, he only afford to create one clone.

"Why did you call me?"

"Practice."

"Uggg! You have summoned me almost every night. Summon another clone!"

"Unfortunately I can only summon you." Mikayla already used with the clone behaviour. "Let's go hunting. You can kill any prey you want, I will not hinder you. I will stay in your shadow and cooperate with you when necessary."

"Are you sure? You have a soft heart and always stop me from playing with the prey."

"Today is the last night. Do what you want. I already told Federica that I will hunt alone tonight." Mikayla disappear into the clone's shadow.

The clone smile seeing Mikayla went into his shadow. "Since you already give me permission then it is time to party."

The clone blended into the darkness to search for his prey. The gloomy city added excitement in the clone's heart. He hopes Mikayla will keep his promise to not hinder his hunt. A few screaming can be heard is like music to the clone. He is grinning happily.
