“Now,” Lisa sighed while standing up and grabbing her skintight suit in the process, “I need to take my shower quickly. The others have something they want to discuss with me, and I shouldn’t keep them waiting. Can you promise me that you will try to go along with what John and Mary want you to do?”
Hanna fidgeted in her seat some before mumbling, “I will try.”
Lisa nodded approvingly, “I guess that’s the best I can get out of you for now. Goodnight, I’ll see you in the morning before heading off to fight that fire.”
“Goodnight.” Hanna replied softly.
Lisa turned to go, but as her hand touched the door Hanna spoke once more. “Can I ask you one more thing?”
Lisa looked over her shoulder, “Sure.”
With a concerned expression, Hanna asked, “You never answered my question about if your scar still hurts.”
