11 Astha can cook!

(skip if you can't handle slice of life { sugar}

Or can't handle delicious food in imagination )

Astha was in the kitchen making a pork roast

And some chimek (korean style fried chicken)

Sister lilly started helping him and started wondering how he knew how to cook something like that

After he opened the pot a burst of aroma hit sister Lilly and she was internally controlling her self not to drool on the kitchen floor

Lilly : Astha what is this

Astha : this is a pig roast that contain entrails some healthy portions of pork and spices that enhance its flavor while the other is a chicken coated in flour deep fried in some oil

Lilly : is it done

Astha : yes its done and also if some of the pork roast remains we can store it in the cooling pots at the basement ( A/N : filling the plot holes after the chap)

Lilly : ok then let's serve it

As astha walked in the dining room he saw Lana and Charlotte without there armour sitting comfortably around the dining table as he opened the pots to serve them Lana started to have stars in her eyes and Charlotte was controlling her self very badly as she did not wanted to embarrass her self as a magic knight

Astha : Well eat up while the food is hot sorry but since we haven't made any alcohol yet please make due with some juice

Astha then served all three of the ladies with portions of pork roast the chicken and a glass of grape juice

All three of them took a bite of the pork and had the same reaction

Lilly, Charlotte, Lana : this is so delicious

Charlotte and Lana : I can't believe they don't cook this in the capital

Charlotte : the chicken is has an amazing crisp on the outside but is so tender that it falls apart in the mouth

Lilly : I never knew you can cook this well astha

Astha : calm down ladies even if the walls are sound proof the voices will be heard keep it down the kids will wake up

All three : sorry *giggle *

{Charlotte pov}

I was raised as a woman of a noble lineage but was never spoiled and only appeared in front of people as a strong willed and dense girl that was destined for greatness but internally I was always insecure and could only open up to my parents and they would help me in every way possible even If I hurt them sometimes

But staying here with astha and and sister Lilly I saw a different possibility a possibility where I can be myself and do what I want. I want to protect them I swear that on my pride as a captain

After the lunch all of them went to bed

{morning 5 am}

{Astha pov}

I woke up and went to Charlotte and Lana's room to wake them up as woke Lana up she was startled but after seeing me she relaxed and lowered her guard

Astha : good morning Lana san how was your sleep

Lana : good morning astha I slept like a baby

Astha : your not the only one

Lana looks at her side to see Charlotte sleeping with a smile on her face that was mesmerising

Lana : *giggle *

Astha then tried to wake her up but was

caught by her

Charlotte : who's there

Astha : it's me Charlotte san

Charlotte : * looks at him* oh good morning

Astha : good morning I guess it's time for you guys to leave now if I am right

Charlotte : yes *sad * I think Its time we leave Lana

Astha : don't worry if you are ever nearby and need shelter don't forget to come to the curch

You both are always welcome here

Both : * happy *thank you and we will come again

{few minutes later outside the curch}

Charlotte : guess its time to part ways for now

Lana : we will come again

After both of them left astha herd someone call him

Orphan child 1 : big bro Astha who were They

Astha : oh they were magic Knights that I made friends with

Orphan child 2 : really will they come again

Astha : yes let go in and have breakfast

Astha's cooking - included in the house hold

Who did he make the house - he made it in the five years using straws wood and tree trunks

Where did he find dyes - made them using herbs and flowers

What is a cooling pot - a medieval fridge made by burying pots in mud and and spraying water on top of them the mud acts as an insulator and the food inside the pots can be preserved for a week

How did he find oil and bees wax - first after crushing seeds with enough pressure using his space magic (using higher gravity) he extracted them as for beeswax he destroyed honey combs gaing honey and beeswax In the process

Now the next chapter will be a time skip and I will skip to the grimvoir aceptence ceremony aka four years and add some minor details and a chapter where Julius will visit him
