21 New home, New family, New people.

There are a few perks at having a human body again katsy thought.

After all, size was a problem before she thought. Upon seeing her people would be frightened and be wary.

It was normal for people to be scared of a giant tiger beast after all not everyone was a cultivator that could trade blows with it and hope to live to see the next sunrise.

The group set out to head to the slave merchant to buy the new servants for the mansion she would inhabit with Fire Drake and little Sparrow.

Arriving at the place Kenshin being the first to get down of the carriage, the merchant seeing the prince coming again he felt it would be a good deal for him.

"This humble, lowly merchant welcomes the crown prince."

Kenshin nodded once with a stern expression.

His mood genuinely not so good. But in the end, they had not been able to convince Katsy to remain inside the palace.

It would have made it easier for him to make rumours there, to trap her inside it. In time forcing her into being his bride.

After all, if she wanted to live in the human kingdom as a human, she would need to abide by their rules.

Luckily she was female, and she would need to "obey" her husband like all other wives of the human kingdoms.

But this darn thing seemed not willing and had expressed all kind of reason why she could not stay inside the palace and mainly because they shared no blood ties or matriarchal ties.

He would need to devise new plans to ensnare this girl, but right now, he needed to gain her approval first so that she would not place her guard to high.

Chasing his ideas away and focused on his task at hand.

"This prince is needed slaves for this prince friend."

"Oh..." The merchant rubbed his hands together. "Very well this lowly merchant is sure to have what the crown prince needs."

Saying, so he guided them to some cages where slaves were chained up in line.

He demonstrated some well-built men for physical labour and pretty women.

However, the merchant seemed to forget that the real client was this beautiful flower girl standing next to the prince.

And she had no use for those beautiful flower girls that were destined to be bed warmers for their masters.

Of course, some catches his attention, but she is there he knew he would lose points with her if he showed it.

Speaking in a self-righteous tone, he said: "this prince is not buying bed warmers for gifting but maids for the cleaning of a mansion for this prince friend that is here." he designed Katsy

Nodding in understanding, he then walked to another section. "Here these girls have been trained since young to serve masters and are skilled.

They all passed tests to prove their abilities and have the right to be sold at a more significant price.

For a slave, a higher price meant master would be less likely to mistreat them or kill them granting them a better life.

At that moment kat spoke. "I will take those four girls, those two boys and those five men."

She cut the grass short under Kenshin's feet not letting him choose for her, thus making it clear that she's the client and he's only there to keep company.

The merchant glanced at the crown prince expression seeing it turning into a black pot.

Kats smiled and looked toward Kenshin. "I think I'll get some page for my brother's."

Kenshin could only nod after all, if they were her brother's they could not marry her, but until those family papers are signed anything could happen!

He wasn't willing to see this gold pot to be stolen by someone else, but he held no power over it as they needed to curry favour with it for now.

Clenching his first he could not help but feel annoyed in his heart.

Those two, that Drake and that sparrow would become nobles one was not a real threat as he was too young.

But it was not the same for that fire drake. Gritting his teeth, he made a smile.

"Truly, you always have your family in mind."

She only made a brilliant smile.
