The Balance Keepers or the Astari is a community of immortals residing at the centre of infinity (nowhere). They are known as gods and are responsible for keeping the circle of life across the multiverse healthy and in order. One day the current god of death picked up a child on one of his missions to earth. After discovering that the child was immune to death, he decided to train him as one of his heirs.
