After Aevus finished looking around the base of Azure Deer while meeting the members of the squad, he went to his room to sleep.

The next morning Aevus ate breakfast and went to see the captain of the Azure Deer squad so he can take a mission.

"Yo, Rill how are you," Asked Aevus seeing Rill painting something.

" I am fine Aevus, how is my squad nice e?" Said Rill with anticipation.

" It is very nice here, the other members were friendly and i have already made a few friends."

"NICE job Aevus i knew you were gonna love my squad."

" Rill i also came here to ask you for a mission, by the way, there is no reason to give some easy mission that every new magic knight gets."

" I am not the one that gives missions, go to Walter, he is the one you should ask about missions." Says Rill.

" Very well, if there is nothing else i will go to Walter to ask for a mission."

" Wait Wait.... before you leave let's have a fight, if we fight i am sure i will create my best work."

" Sorry, Rill but i will have to refuse, i will fight you when i manage to learn long-distance magic since it is a pain in the ass to fight you in close combat."

" Fineee"

After Aevus left Rill, he went to Walter's room to ask for a mission.

" Walter can i come in" Said Aevus while knocking on the door.

" Of course Sir Aevus."

When Aevus got in he saw Walter reading a book while drinking tea.

" Hello, Walter i hope you doing fine."

" Of course Sir Aevus, i hope you like our squad so far"

" Yes it is really a peaceful and relaxing place plus every member is friendly here."

" Yes, our Azure Deer squad is one of the most united squads of all...

So how can i help Sir Aevus." Asks Walter with confusion in his voice.

" I would like a mission"

" Of course i have a mission ready for you"

" Walter i don't want those missions for newbies, you know of my strength and now that i have experience i have become even stronger, so please give me a good mission".

" *Sigh* Very well then... i will give you this mission."

Walter then gave Aevus a file. Aevus opened the file and read for a couple of seconds and said" Very well i will leave when my staff is ready."

" Sir Aevus i would recommend you to take some squad members with you."

" Don't worry Walter this is not the first time i hunt a magic beast."

" Fine just be careful," says Walter.

After 30 minutes Aevus left the HQ and went towards his destination.

A magic beast left the Grand Magic Zone for an unknown reason and is heading towards a small village. His mission is to defeat that Beast and make sure that the village is safe.

It took about 2 hours for Aevus to reach the last place the magic beast was seen.

" It should be about 12 meters according to the destruction it has caused and it should be an ice monster from all these ice on the trees."

Aevus then followed its path for another hour, until he saw the monster.

It was a wolf made out of ice that reached the height of 10 meters, its eyes had were blue while its tail was made of spikes.

" Just my luck" Aevus mutters to himself.

Aevus then prepared an ambush for the beast while hiding his presence.

Aevus immediately used his Eternal sword to cut off the foot of the Ice Wolf, and as the beast was shocked he used his sword with all his power and cut off the head of the beast.

" *huff* * huff*(That means he heavily breaths) that attack... took all my strength" Mutters Aevus while panting.

After a couple of minutes, Aevus feels much better so he decides to go to that village to sleep for the night there and return to the HQ tomorrow.

While flying to the village, he feels that something isn't right and his gut feeling has never failed him.

' I should probably watch the village before entering.'

While watching the village from the shadows, Aevus noticed that every villager was skinny and everyone was wearing destroyed clothes that barely covered their body.

During the afternoon, he spotted some people coming to the village, they looked like classic bandits.

' Just as suspected they are bandits here that are stealing from this village'.

As Aevus was thinking about his choices, the bandits spotted a woman that was looking at them while trying to hide from them.

" You with the brown hair that is hiding behind that window get over here right now" Yelled the leading bandit while looking at a house.

" If you don't come out right now, i will kill everyone i see right now, you have 10 seconds"

" 10, 9, 8, 7,... 3" Before he could say 2 he heard a voice.

"Please stop i am right here," Says the woman while running out of the house with tears in her eyes.

The woman has a pretty face with a very developed body.

All the bandits looked at her with lust in their eyes and the boss said

" If you spend a night with me i will not kill anyone i promise," He said with confidence.

Aevus when he saw that was stunned' Cant i get a break how did those bandits found a girl some beautiful the only time i came here, fine it looks like i will kill them and capture their boss to interrogate him.'

Aevus quickly came behind without getting spotted and used his time-domain, he summoned his Eternal sword and cut every bandit down while evading the other attacks, when only the leader was alive he hit him in the neck and told him " Tell me where your base is and i won't kill you"

" Please don't kill me magic knights the base is in that direction"

'That was easy, looks like he is a coward'.

After knocked the leader out, he chained him and said to the villagers

" My name is Aevus chegar i am a magic knight in our kingdom, you don't have to be afraid of me"

After Aevus said that all the villagers relaxed and thanked Aevus.

" I have already asked for reinforcements to come so please remain here until they come, i will go to their base and capture the rest".

After Aevus said that he left immediately to the base of the bandits, there he found 23 bandits and about 7 prisoners from the village, after he killed 20 and captured the remaining 3 he gathered the 7 prisoners and goes back to the village without having any trouble.

In the village he finds that the reinforcements had come and had already taken control of everything, so he gave the remaining bandits to them while the innocent villagers reunited with their families.
