They weren't even trying to hide it. Those whispers were haunting Xierra over her sleep. Day and night, there wasn't a minute–– a single second where she didn't hear those poignant hushed voices. She looked up at her companion with a curious gaze within her saddened visage. "You know full well what I desire–– for my kin to get the recognition they deserve–– to be treated as a living being and not only a wandering dead soul." "Hmph, what a wish you have there, Master. The higher you climb, the further you'll fall." Xierra chuckled in amusement at her companion's words, expecting them from the start. "Who knows? Perhaps even the heart of humans will hear my pleas. It isn't so hard to treat the dead the same as the livings." "No, you are mistaken." Her companion soon pursed his lips, craning his head back and looked high into the star-filled sky. "A human's heart is something I can never understand, Master. Tell me... the 'Whisperer' is nothing more than a title we gave you. What will you do with it?"
