Fight

As I opened the door ,I saw a tall old woman in nun attire.

"welcome sister Theresa".I said.

"you must be the Julian brat Orsi mentioned."

"Yes sister" , I replied "please come inside".

She met up with father and sister Lily ,and called me outside the church after a while .

"Orsi said that you are a magic prodigy or something let me see if you are worth training" she said in a high voice .

This event had transpired due to my discussion with father a month ago.

::flashback 1 month ago::

Me and father were sitting near the demon skull after I finished my daily training."Did you know what I did before coming to Hage village ?"father asked ,"no ,you never mentioned ".I said.

"Then listen ",He started telling his story "I was son of a declining noble family .

In the struggle of power I lost my family and everything ,It was then Sister Theresa found me and took me in.

She used to be teacher of the captain of the Crimson Lions magic knights squad .

She invested all her funds from teaching to maintain a church and orphanage in the capital and I was taken there .She changed my life completely from a person losing everything to a person who found his calling ,I decided to carry on her legacy and open a church in the lower realm. When I go to the city ,I often mention about you and she took interest in you and decided to train you if you proved your worth".

He then added with trebling voice ".We have taught everything we knew to you ,keeping you here will only stagnate your growth .You are very special to me and showed me that I can fulfill my dream ,so I want to fulfill yours too .Are you willing to go with her? ,she will train you till you join the magic knights.".

Many thoughts ran in my head thinking of a possible reply.

The memories spent in the church ,the time spent with father ,the love I received made me very emotional ,I knew I had to leave this place sooner or latter but didn't expect it to be so early ."yes father ,I was take this opportunity you have given me "I said with a trembling voice.

::present time::

I stood there opposite to her with the only thought "I have to give my best", mana seeped though my mana core and cells to my palms and legs reinforcing them and I rushed towards her with the fastest speed I could attain and went for a punch in the chest,as my punch was about to hit she crossed her arms completely blocking my attack,I backed off 10 meters and sent a fireball at her from my palm which she completely destroyed with a punch.

I sent many flame beams and bullets but none of them hit as she dodged all of them. I made a tentacle with mana and sent at her trying to hold her in one place but she got hold of it and pulled so hard that I was sent towards her ,as I got closure she delivered a punch to my face throwing me 100 meters afar,I felt like vomiting and my vision blurred ,pain ran through my body .

"Magic responds towards the users feelings .Fuel your fire with your ambition ,your emotions and come at me with everything "she shouted .

My vision cleared after hearing her voice . I stood and dashed towards her again but this time I completely emptied my mana core and sent a large wave of fire threatening to devour everything at her ,she just stud there till the wave covered her figure, she punched at the wave with reinforcement mana.Her punch created an explosion that gave me a chance ,I got behind her and punched at her reinforcing my hand with every once of magic.But everything seemed futile as she sensed my attack in advance and got hold of my hand and punched me in the abdomen.

"She didn't even use her magic nature" was the thing I could think of before loosing consciousness .
