1 Reincarnation [Edited]

"YOU CUNT!"

A 15 year old boy could be seen sitting in front of a wide monitor playing a game known as "Warframe". His party had left him behind so he could deal with the horde of infested chasing them, they didn't even say anything and just disappeared on him.

"Damn wimps, leaving me behind to deal with this damn horde."

The boy grumbled to himself and took a sip from a can next to him. He let out a sigh knowing he couldn't just complain.

Putting his focus back on the game, he pointed his camera towards a weird animal thing with brown fur resembling a dog. The boy chuckled seeing his loyal companion bark. "At least you're with me little man, let's get this over with!"

He snapped his fingers and another version of himself appeared out of thin air, It had a white primary color with orange and blue veins running down its body. Its head was shaped like a semi-cross with 2 blue neon lights on the top row and another two on the bottom.

The boy was using Loki, a warframe of trickery which he enjoyed using. He found it amusing when the enemy would chase after an illusion as he picked off their comrades one by one.

The boy jumped into the horde and swung his weapon. The Redeemer, a melee weapon with a shotgun built into it, as he swept through the crowd of infested he cut off as many heads as he could while his companion, little man, ripped out their throats, but the horde never ended. "What are those idiots doing?!" he yelled.

He was hoping that his 'teammates' would have ended the mission by now but to his disappointment, it never came.

He turned around and began rushing towards an elevator as fast as he could while snapping his fingers, making the illusion disappear.

He bullet jumped, double jumped, and rolled at the end for momentum; he did this repeatedly until he reached the closest elevator. Once he was at the elevator the boy began spamming on the key on his keyboard to call it down.

The infested got closer and closer, the only thing slowing down being little man fighting for his masters' life and buying him time.

As little man's hp was about to hit 0 the boy's screen began distorting, a hand came through the monitor quickly, reaching out towards him. "What the fu-"

The hand grabbed him by the neck interrupting the boy and began dragging him into the screen. The boy started beating on the arm and thrashing, attempting to free himself from the grip.

Before the boy was completely pulled through the screen he was able to catch a glimpse of his Black Clover posters on the wall with Asta and black bulls looking on into the sunset with smiles on their faces.

He felt his heart clench at the sight but he tried his best to smile with them. If he was going to die then he would do it looking at the people he admired. 'It was nice watching you on your adventures.'

With that last thought, he was completely gone, his vision blurred and his surroundings changed. As his vision was slowly returning he heard a yelp similar to that of a dog coming from behind him.

He turned around to the source only to feel something crash into him and bite into his shoulder with a sharp parasite like tongue. "AHHHH!"

Screaming out in pain his vision fully returned, looking at the creature on him he saw its canine-like appearance that was turned into an abomination with spines running down its back.

As the creature was about to take another bite out of him something wrapped around his leg and dragged him towards the horde of infested.

The boy's blood ran cold seeing this and he began kicking at the thing around his leg while trying to defend himself from the creature sitting on him, yet to no avail, he was dragged into the horde and jumped on like the world's finest dish.

A scream of agony escaped his lips as he felt his entrails being dug into, he saw multiple creatures pinning him down, scratching and biting into him, it was the most excruciating thing he had ever felt in all his life.

Slowly his vision began to darken and his eyelids became heavier, becoming numb to the pain he closed his eyes to never wake up again, or that's what he thought.

A unique wine-colored soul in the form of an orb flew out from the boy's corpse while the monsters were tearing into the body. The soul slowly began to float down as a portal opened beneath it.

"Come to me~" A sweet voice called towards it, the orb continued to float towards the portal until it completely vanished inside.

The surroundings changed into a castle's throne room. The walls were blood red with black pillars supporting everything up. In the center stood an obsidian throne, a beautiful woman with pink hair and hot pink eyes sitting on it.

A scythe was sitting on her lap and in her left hand stood a glass of wine. She wore a black dress that had a golden line that was semi wrapped below her breast with 4 golden buttons on her chest, the collar of the dress has 3 spikes on her left and right.

Going down she wore black stockings that had thin golden cuffs, she held out her right hand expectantly as a red wine colored orb fell into it, she dropped it in front of her throne and snapped her fingers.

The snap resounded through the empty room, nothing happened at first but the soul suddenly began morphing. Arms, legs, toes, and fingers, it was taking a human form.

The soul looked around frantically until its nonexistent eyes landed on the woman's figure.

She released a bone chilling giggle as she stared down at him, her eyes shining in the darkness. "Hello, Human or should I say false human? Either way welcome to my castle."

The soul looked at her as its none existent eyes widened. 'Who is this woman and what does she mean ex-human?'

She released another giggle which made the soul shiver. "I'm the queen and goddess of death, I thought most humans would have understood based on the form I'm in, she's known as a reaper and is quite popular in your world, just call me Mori or Calli."

The soul fluctuated, realizing she could read his thoughts. He quickly returned to his normal state and tried to open his mouth only to discover he didn't have one. 'Can she read my mind?'

"Yes, I can." The goddess simply answered.

The soul fluctuated once again. 'I see, can you explain what happened to me?'

She nodded her head then went to explain the situation. "I'm sorry to say but you died, one of those dumb gods mistook you for someone else and sent one of its knights on you, they dragged you into the game you call warframe so you could be devoured by the infested, call it them trying to be creative, anyways once they figured they got the wrong person they put the work on me." She ended in an annoyed tone.

The soul stayed silent for a moment trying to digest the information. 'So you're saying a god mistook me for someone else, fed me to infested, then shoved the work on you?..'

"That's pretty much it." the goddess nodded.

A puff of smoke left where its mouth should've been 'Haa~, here I thought gods would be all knowing but here I am, they didn't even try to clean their own mess.'

Mori covered her mouth and let out a chuckle. "Don't be like that, let's have a chat."

She clapped her hands twice as a table and two chairs appeared out of thin air, she stood from her throne and walked to her seat gesturing to the soul to sit as well.

Mori then clapped once more and tea appeared. Well with what the soul could call tea since it was translucent.

Mori took her cup then slowly sipped, The soul not wanting to be rude did the same expecting the tea to go through him or roll down his face.

He wasn't surprised when the cup went through the area where his mouth should've been but what caught him off guard was that it didn't go through completely.

It only went as far as a normal mouth should go, realizing he was able to drink it he did just that.

The soul let out a sigh of satisfaction, he wasn't able to taste it but he felt himself relax. 'This is pretty good.'

"I know right? This may sound weird but I've been watching you for a long time now." Mori said trying her best to not sound like a creep.

The soul lifted its nonexistent eyebrows while putting the cup down. 'What do you mean? I don't see why a goddess like yourself would watch over a shut-in like me." it said with a chuckle

*Click*

Mori put her glass down and stared at the soul seriously. "A human's soul is usually blue or white, there is no exception to this however your soul was somehow hiding its true colors behind an illusion that made it seem as if it was a normal human soul, I most likely didn't notice this due to being busy lately with that dumb goddess of life."

The soul nodded his head. 'So I'm assuming the moment the knight pulled me through the screen is when the illusion was shattered?'

"Exactly." she said with a matter of a fact tone.

'So what am I now?' The soul asked, looking at the goddess who had a smile growing on her face.

Mori let out a mischievous giggle and with playful pep in her voice she answered. "A Tenno, a race that died out long ago and could be considered one of the most dangerous in the multiverse!"

"They're above legends and myths, during my many years as a goddess this is my first time coming across one, you're the only living Tenno within the whole multiverse!"

She excitedly stood up from her chair with a small hop and spin before leaning over the table and grabbing the soul's hand with a dazzling smile on her face. "How does it feel knowing you're a race so rare and powerful that even some gods believe they're fictional?"

"You're the ultimate war machine that bathes in the enemy's blood, just thinking of the things you'll accomplish just makes me excited!" Mori was almost yelling at this point as excitement showed in her eyes.

The soul began to stretch thinking about it. 'Are you serious?'

The goddess nodded her head quickly and released his hands. "Do you think this goddess would lie?"

The soul shook his head side to side, he thought about when he was alive and was in school before he dropped out.

Even though he barely exercised, left his home, and would eat enough food to feed a family he would never gain any weight and would still be able to outrun any athlete without much effort. 'So that was it.'

The goddess clapped her hands to take the soul out of his thoughts. "Good, we don't have much time so let's get the reincarnation started."

'Wait I'm being reincarnated? I thought I would be dead for good!' the soul quickly stood up as the chair he was sitting upon fell backward.

"Normally you would, but a certain goddess of reincarnation and dreams owes me a favor, be grateful that I took a liking to you in our short talk" Mori said with a light laugh.

The soul slightly bowed to the goddess. 'Thank you for your kindness.'

The goddess smiled. "You don't have to bow, just sign this for me and I'll let you choose the world you want and you'll be on your way"

The soul stood up straight and looked at the paper she held in hand.

[The Goddess of Death, Mori Calliope. Wishes to have a contract with you, feel grateful you damn soul!]

The contract explained what would happen: she would take his soul as her partner each time he died and send him out to reincarnate whenever she wanted, each time the soul would Reincarnate; Mori would grant him a blessing/wish to help him along his journey, she'd also be able to watch over him during his adventures.

"Do you accept?" she asked, full of confidence with a stunning smile on her face.

If the soul could smile he definitely would've been, she's doing all this just for him. 'I see no reason not to, thank you, Mori.' the soul grabbed the paper and a hot pink colored flame took the shape of a pen in his hand.

Once he finished writing his signature on the paper it went up in flames along with the pen, the flames quickly moved and shot towards where his left eye should've been.

A warm comfortable feeling was felt as the flame seeped into the soul, a tattoo with the Japanese kanji for death forming on his nonexistent left eye.

"It's time to go." Mori called

The soul just nodded his head and walked closer to the Death Goddess. 'It was a pleasure meeting you Mori.'

"Same goes for you, I'll see you in the next life my friend, don't worry about the world. I already know the world which you wish to go to."

She snapped her fingers and the soul burst into flames. "Listen to me, from now on you are Kuro Usagi, I've given you special blood that is similar to that of elves."

"Now, wake up Tenno!"
