14 Visiting the demon skull

The next morning Sekke and his father woke up quite late. Since Sekke slept quite late after talking with the royals while Zuk was simply too drunk.

Once they woke up Zuk groaned because of his hang over while Sekke got refreshed and then went down to get something to cure his father's hangover.

On his way he met Mimosa and Kirsch who were standing along with a man with gaudy clothes whom he assumed to be their father.

Not knowing how their father was Sekke decided to ignore the two of them to avoid any useless troubles and got a hangover medicine from the receptionist lady who was torturing the pitiful button.

Getting back to his room he gave the medicine to his father and started packing up their stuff while his father recovered.

Once that was over Sekke pushed his father towards the cafeteria and made him take a seat so that they can have their breakfast and leave.

And just like the lady promised to herself she did gave Sekke a larger share and a sweet as an extra service.

Once the breakfast was over Sekke and his slightly recovered father decided to continue their journey.

Sekke though just said a goodbye to Kirsch and Mimosa as he was going out and went away along with his father on the broom making Mimosa yell at him for not saying his goodbyes properly.

Kirsch just stated how ugly his farewell was and told Mimosa not to think much as they may meet him at the village they promised to meet.

On his way towards the village Sekke was getting a little too annoyed while maintaining the broom's height.

"Hey dad, get a hold of yourself or I will drop you here." said Sekke for the nth time though his dad was not able to maintain his balance and continued to wobble.

Seeing that there was no other way he headed towards the ground and and forcefully made him vomit.

Once he was calmed down enough he looked at Sekke with a confident look on his face and said, "Bah ha, I am in my top form Bah ha."

Sekke just stared intently at him making the man flinch at his son's gaze.

Sekke then once again continued their journey and soon they reached the place where his dad had to work and Sekke was excited about this place, not because he wanted to look around the village or that it was very beautiful. But the fact that he could see the a giant head from the air at quite a distance from that place made him excited.

'What was the name of that place.... something like Mage or Rage....well whatever let's go and visit the protagonist's village.....or more likely the giant head. I wanna see it up close.' thought Sekke as he landed on the ground.

After finding the place where Zuk needed to work both of them found a lodging at the same place and Zuk said, "Listen Sekke I will be busy from now on so I can't accompany you. Promise me that you would be a good boy Bah ha."

"The dark lord is always at his best." said Sekke.

"...And what do you mean by good Bah ha?..." asked Zuk.

"I will go around on my own without disturbing my hardworking father and making troubles for him" said Sekke with an innocent look on his face and thought, 'I will deal with those troubles on my own anyway.'

Zuk sighed and patted Sekke's head and said, "...Just be safe. I care a lot for you Bah ha."

Sekke smiled at him and said, "I care a lot about you too dad. I will be fine so don't worry."

"...If you care about me then start saying Bah ha already."

"...I won't tarnish my title of the dark lord..." said Sekke with a serious look on his face.

Zuk just sighed seeing his son's reluctance and went to do his job leaving Sekke alone.

Sekke who was now alone took the broom with him and got up in the air and headed towards the giant skeletal head.

Overlooking the village Sekke noticed that it was by far the most underdeveloped place he had seen, though he haven't seen much of the kingdom. this place just has wide grasslands with a few houses scattered around and a lot of cultivation fields. The only big buildings that this place had was a church and the grimoire tower and that's was all there was.

"SISTER LILY PLEASE MARRY ME!!!"

Hearing that yell out of nowhere Sekke got startled and almost fell down from him broom.

'What the fu*k!!! How did I hear that yell all the way up here?!? No forget that how loud must that person have yelled to even make me who was so up hear startled by his yell.'

'...Is this what you call the power of the protagonist?...' muttered Sekke as he looked towards the church from above and saw a boy lying down on the ground totally wet with some water around him.

"...Yeah, let's not meet them for now."said Sekke as he turned his broom towards the giant demon skull.

"This really looks cool....and spooky.....but more of cool." said Sekke as he stared at the giant skull.

He then lowered his broom as he spotted the statue of the first wizard king or the petrified wizard king, and landed beside him.

He stared intently at the statue for a while as he checked him out from top to bottom. He then moved his hand towards the statue's little brother and slapped him there.

"....So he really is just a statue right now.....pity to you dude, you sword is not stuck in stone and is rock hard at that." said Sekke.

'....He must have died as a virgin too...and that too after having such an handsome face and money.' thought Sekke as he shed a tear for the sealed wizard king.

"Now then let's see which one of your holes belong to mine..." said Sekke as he moved his hands towards his pants.....and unsheathed his sword....Extase...

He then held the sword which had the magic stone embedded in it and took it out of the hilt before matched it with the hole it goes into.

"...So directly above the crotch huh....well I will lend it to you when you need it, but I will keep it for the time being." said Sekke as he placed the stone back in his sword's hilt and sheathed it.

He then sat down beside the statue and said, "Man I am really tired.....I really want to rest up and live a lively and comfortable life." He then laid back on the the skeleton head and thought, '...But knowing what all is going to happen in the future and the fact that I may not be able to survive like the real Sekke in those kind of events, makes me quite restless that I cannot help but push myself all the way I can.....in some sort of way knowing future is bad for the person.'

He then looked towards the statue beside him and said, "...You were at the top at your time right.....and made yourself such a figure that people started giving the title you had as an award to the current top dogs of this kingdom. So be proud of yourself."

He then smirked and said, "And know about this as well that I will become the new no.1 and will make sure that the tile, Dark Lord gets to be as important and influential as the title of wizard king and is passed down too."

'....I feel stupid talking to a statue but I know that he is still alive....' thought Sekke as he sighed.

He then looked up at the sky and said, "...Wizard king....how in the world did he posses that kind of mana when all the other humans at that time feared the elves because of their high mana capacity....and most of those who have high mana in these times are the reincarnations of elves....though royalty have their own high mana capacity, it is still incomparable to that of elves....was he just like me, someone loved by mana or just a protagonist of his time.....too many questions...I really wanna know if there was a way to gain that much mana without the help of my blessing.

He then glanced towards the statue and said, "Give me some kind of answer my fellow brother who died being a virgin."

Suddenly out of nowhere he felt something rushing towards him and immediately bolted up to attack.

Sekke then turned around and saw a bird with a flower in its mouth coming towards him.

'Hmm....is that Nero?" thought Sekke as he dodged the incoming bird.

The bird who was suddenly dodged by Sekke was surprised by that and went past him but Sekke caught it's neck with relative ease and said, "Woah there, you surprised me for a while.....now that I look carefully at you, your eyes look fierce and you are too fluffy as well.....wonder how will you taste?"

Sekke then licked his lips making the bird flinch and struggle to get out of Sekke's grasp.

Sekke chuckled seeing the woman turned bird frightened and struggle in his hands said, "What should I do with you little birdy, roast you or fry? What do you think will make you taste more delicious?"

Hearing that the bird paled, in all her life she not have once been caught like that and to hear that someone would want to make her their lunch was something she had not ever imagined in her life.

The bird gulped her saliva and stared intently at Sekke without any change in her expression, though Sekke could feel that the bird was trembling.

Sekke sighed and said, "Relax, I am not going to eat you alright." and then thought, 'Even though you are a bird now, you are still a human and the thought of eating a human is not something that I will have when my life is not an overly extreme fu*ked up shit.'

He then loosened his grasp around the bird's neck making it breathe a sigh of relief and said, "Go."

The bird looked towards Sekke for a while before it turned around and placed the flower that she had in her mouth in front of the statue.

"Paying respect to the wizard king, aren't you quite a loyal citizen of Clover kingdom little birdy." said Sekke as he patted the bird's head.

The bird didn't say anything but pecked Sekke's finger who immediately moved it away.

He then stood up with a smile seeing that the bird was not able to hit him and asked, "Do you even know who he is?"

Hearing which the bird nodded it's head and then flew up to sit on the statue's shoulder.

"Don't poop on him okay, this guy is a historical character in this kingdom." said Sekke making the bird angry as she flew and got above Sekke's head and started pecking it.

"Ouch!!" said Sekke as he pushed the bird away making the bird go and sit back on the statue's shoulder.
