7 Sacred gear
The next day Sekke told Will that he won't go with him for the hunt as he wanted to test his sacred gear.
Will have him a glare and wanted to tell him to go, but he knew that the kid in front of him had surpassed him long ago and it would only tarnish his name if he lost against a kid, so he just let him go.
Sekke too now understood that there was no need to go with the hunter now since there was nothing else that the hunter could help him with. The areas where he is accustomed to hunt is no longer challenging for Sekke and with the new abilities of his sword, that was even more the case. He will ask if Will was interested in changing his hunting ground to a more dangerous and challenging area but if he refuses then it was time for him to part ways.
Sekke soon reached the training area and saw that some people were gathered in there which made him curious since not many kids are present during this time of the day, since they are either playing around or helping their families.
Sekke walked in closer to know what happened but stopped once he heard about some 'holes in the trees'. He just turned around without saying anything.
"Bronze magic: Bronze bike." said Sekke as he made a bike and got away from the spot.
"I will definitely be questioned if they know that it was I who did that and I am not going to deal with that. The future dark lord will not show his abilities this soon." said Sekke as he went to another spot where he trains.
Soon he reached an abandoned mine which his father told him about once. And once he made sure that no one really comes here he used this place for training on days when the regular training area is full.
This place though might not be as convenient for aiming and control since there were no targets or magic firing range, this place was good to check the power of spells since the damage dealt here didn't matter much and there were a lot of ways to do physical training as well. Not to mention inside the mine were some mana beasts that started living there and made this mine abandoned.
Sekke checked if some mana beast was nearby or not and then said, "Absorption line."
Light gathered around his hand and soon a black gauntlet appeared on his left hand.
"So let's start testing you.....and is this the only gear that is awakened right now or the other three are there as well?" asked Sekke but soon shrugged his shoulders and said, "Let's think about that later."

After playing around with his sacred gear for a while Sekke understood a few things. Firstly, it was the only sacred gear that he has unlocked yet. Secondly, the line coming out of the gauntlet had a range of about 10 metres which might increase later....he needs to test that out. Thirdly, he can control the movement of the line though only slightly, he needs to train to make it work like a wobbly tentacle from a h*ntai and he promised himself that he will make it happen since he was the dark lord.
He could also use it to carry things by wrapping it around the objects but there was a limit.
Sekke nodded his head and thought, 'This is fine and all....but let's get onto absorbing the mana part.'
He then looked towards the mine and then decided to test it out on some mana beasts.
He went stood there at the entrance of the cave since he didn't have any light source to take it wit-
"Oh wait, I got this." said Sekke as he unsheathed his sword and then passed mana through it making it glow.
"Now that's what you call a cool flash light." said Sekke as he uses his sword to be the light source.
After waking inside for a while he noticed a group of spider like mana beasts travelling on the walls.
Looking around he found a weak looking one, alone near the wall and slowly let his absorption line get near the beast.
'Yes....just like that.....slowly.....not slowly.....now tie it around.....perfecto.' thought Sekke as he wrapped the line around the slider's body very lightly so as to not make it uncomfortable and let it alert the others.
He then tried to pull the mana out of its body and soon Sekke started feeling some mana coming inside his body.
He played around with that Abilty for a while to check what all it can do and how long it would take to absorb and efficiency of the sacred gear.
Once that was done he left an orb made of his bronze magic near the beast to let him eat it.
He soon got out of mine and checked if some mana beast was following him or not.
After that was done he felt that it was about lunch time and decided to return back.
Once he reached home he opened the door and was surprised to see that his father was there as well which was quite unusual.
"Oh Se-chan, welcome back."
"I am home...what happened dad, you are home at this time?"
"Well, I will be going out for a while because of some work bah ha. It seems like there are some issues with the ore distribution from our mine so I need to check that." said Zuk with an exhausted tone.
"Where you will be going?" asked Sekke as he washed his hands and sat on the table as well.
".... Forsaken realm." said Zuk with a dramatic dark tone.
Sekke stopped and then looked at his father with an excited look and asked, "Dad! Can I go with you too? I haven't seen the forsaken realm, yet. I wanna go."
"Bah ha?" said Zuk as he was surprised seeing his son excited about going to the forsaken realm. He thought that he would be scared or would be not that interested in the forsaken realm since the people from the noble and common realm don't really like them.
"...Aren't you scared Sekke? Haven't you heard what type of people live there?" asked Zuk.
"....Human type..." said Sekke making Elaine chuckle and Zuk look at him with a deadpan look on his face.
"Isn't it fine why not take him with you if he wants to.....I will also go and visit my parents in the meantime." said Elaine as she placed Sekke's food in front of him and smiled at his son who returned the smile back to her.
"... Promise me that you will follow what I say Bah ha." said Zuk.
"I will try." said Sekke totally meaning that he won't.

"Now now Se-chan even if you are strong and brave, you still need to follow your father's orders there. Otherwise I won't allow that." said Elaine as she pinched Sekke's cheeks.
"Okay, I promise that I won't get in trouble." said Sekke as he pulled his mother's hands away.
Elaine smiled as she kissed Sekke's cheek failing to notice that he still didn't agree to follow his father's orders
