Red Thread of Fate

"N-No, the land of witches... it's gone," muttered Vanesa with a look of disbelief.

"D-Domina? DOMINA!!!" yelled Fanzell as he looked towards the clearing which used to be the witch's forest.

"What happened? Don't tell me Sekke-" said Noelle as she looked at the clearing with horror.

The dust cloud soon disappeared as the dragonified Sekke appeared in front of them.

Fanzell, Vanessa, Noelle, Mars, and Fana looked at Sekke with a shocked expression on their faces but soon Fanzell's face turned to that of anger as he glared at Sekke.

"Y-You monster!!" and ran towards Sekke.

Sekke who just ignored the people behind him was looking at the dead anti-bird in his hands.

But all of a sudden he felt a slight tickle on his back.

Turning around Sekke noticed Fazell with his wind sword and an angry look on his face.

"How dare you kill my Domina," said Fanzell in a pained tone as he glared at Sekke.

Sekke stared at Fanzell for a while making the red-haired man glare at him.

"Why are you silent? ANSWER ME!" and yelled at Sekke.

In response to that Sekke roared out loud sending a shock wave through his roar and sending Fazell flying away.

"Sensi!" yelled Mars as he got up and tried to catch the incoming Fanzell.

But before he could even catch him Sekk jumped up in the air and landed on top of Fazell's body crushing it under his feet while forming a crater below him.

*ROAR*

Fanzell coughed out blood as his eyes rolled back from Sekke's attack who just looked at the lifeless man below his feet.

"STOP IT SEKKE!" yelled Noelle as she supported Asta's body.

But Sekke ignored her and stared at Fanzell's body as flames gathered in his mouth.

<Prison Dragon's Roar>

Seeing what Sekke was about to do, all of them looked at Sekke with horror as they tried to call out to him and ask him to stop.

But Sekke just ignored them and fired the black flames at the man below his feet.

Mars and Fana screamed as they saw that their teacher was about to die, but out of nowhere a portal opened below Fanzell as his body fell through it, and immediately the portal disappeared.

The black bulls who recognized the magic immediately looked toward Finral who was barely standing on his feet and the half-dead Fanzell lying beside him.

"Finral!!" exclaimed Vanessa as she smiled a bit seeing that he was alive and Fazell was safe.

"Hehe, I am glad that I had enough mana," said Finral with a smile on his face, but his smile soon disappeared as an angered Sekke appeared in front of him.

"Se-Sekke-kun?" said Finarl in a panicked tone seeing that the others got panicked as well.

Vanessa who now understood that Sekke was not in his right mind and was going to kill them all as well was horrified and looked at the scene that was about to unfold in horror.

Sekke raised his claws and was about to stab Finral when suddenly Vanessa cried out loud and the red cat jumped on Sekke's shoulder.

And just as that happened Sekke missed his attack as his claw just flew past Finral.

Vanessa blinked in surprise as the cat just sat on Sekke's shoulder without any care.

"Move. That's Secre's spot!" yelled Sekke as he grabbed the red cat and threw it off him and glared at it.

"Stop it Sekke!" yelled Noelle as Sekke glared at her feeling irritated.

Not even thinking twice he clenched his fist and hit Noelle as Vanessa saw Noelle's head fly off her body.

But the cat touched Sekke once again and time reverted.

"Move. That Secre's spot!" yelled Sekke as he grabbed the red cat and threw it off him and glared at it once again.

But this time Noelle didn't say anything and just stared at Sekke.

Understanding what just happened Vanessa blinked in surprise as she remembered what her mother told her about her magic.

"Y-You are the red thread of fate, right?" asked Vanessa as she looked at the cat who turned towards her.

"You can change fate, right? Please! I am begging you. Please turn everything back to normal." pleaded Vanessa.

The cat looked at Vanessa and raised its paw and tapped Sekke once again.

Sekke looked at it for a while and then fired one of his absorption lines at it and wrapped the cat's body with it.

"Take it," said Sekke as he started transferring mana to the cat.

The cat glowed and then raised both of its paws and tapped on the ground.

In the next instant time reverted once again as the witch's forest came back and all the destruction that was caused by Sekke turned back to normal.

Sekke who was now back at the point of time where he was stabbed by the blood blade widened his eyes in shock and then immediately turned back.

"Secre!?" asked Sekke in a panicked tone.

And responding to the call the anti-bird appeared on his shoulder and looked at Sekke with a panicked look on her face as she saw a blood blade piercing her partner.

But contrary to what Secre was feeling Sekke's eyes teared up as he just pulled himself out of the blood blade and landed on the ground.

He then grabbed Secre off his shoulder and hugged her as tears started to come out of his eyes.

"I am sorry! I am sorry! I am glad that you are fine. I am so glad!"

Hearing his cry most of the people looked at him in shock except for Vanessa and the witch queen.

Vanessa sighed and soon some tears of happiness fell down her cheek as she saw her squad mate back to his senses.

The witch queen on the other hand remembered everything that happened before the time reverted and was looking at Sekke with horror. Her entire body was shivering from fear and not even a single muscle was able to move after remembering the fate she had in the other timeline.

She looked at the red cat that was licking its leg and then at Vanessa who was crying as well.

'It's better to not mess with him. I don't want to experience that once again.' thought the witch queen as she canceled all of her magic and healed Sekke before he decided to fight her once again.

Sekke who was hugging Secre noticed the blood cocoon around him and was about to act but stopped after seeing that it was healing him.

'Vritra, dispel her magic after she is done healing.' said Sekke.

"Got it my other half," replied Vritra.

'...You don't remember? ' asked Sekke.

"Remember what?" asked Vritra making Sekke sigh as he just held Secre close to his chest not wanting to let go of her even for an instant.

'...I will tell you later.' said Sekke as the cocoon disappeared and Vritra started dispelling the witch queen's magic off Sekke's body.

Sekke just held Secre and brought her in front of his face and soon kissed the bird's head.

"I won't ever let you get away from me Secre. I promise," said Sekke and hugged the bird once again.

Meanwhile, Secre's brain couldn't process what just happened, and for the first time, the anti-bird had a shocked expression on her face while imaginary steam started coming out of her head.
