8 Journey to the forsaken realm

The next day with their things packed Sekke and Zuk were ready to go on their trip.

"Alright Se-chan take care of your father. And make sure to not get into some trouble alright?.....Make sure your father don't play around, alright?" said Elaine as she bent down to match Sekke's height.

"Hm, don't worry I will take care of dad." said Sekke earning a chuckle from Elaine.

"Alright Sekke let's go Bah ha." said Zuk as he checked his stuff once again.

He wanted to take the magic broom but it was not possible with him having luggage and Sekke at the same time He sighed and put the bag on his back.

Sekke nodded and then rushed inside and fetched a broom.

"Let's go then." said Sekke as he sat on the broom and gestured his father to come along.

"Sekke we just have two brooms at home and your mom is taking one Bah ha. And we cannot move on just one broom you know?" said Zuk as he shook his head.

Sekke tilted his head in confusion and said, "Hmm, we can't?"

Hearing that Zuk and Elaine nodded their heads.

Sekke felt confused because as he can remember he had carried something twice as big as his father on the broom without any difficulty.

He too the broom, placed it below his father and then got on top of it as well and said, "Don't worry, I am the dark lord for nothing you know." said Sekke with grin and soon started levitating up in the sky with his father behind him.

Zuk and Elaine were surprised seeing how easily Sekke was able to lift all of that on the broom along with him and were speechless.

"Ok mom, bye. Say hi to grandpa and grandma." said Sekke as he took off with his father.

Zuk who snapped out of his trance and looked at his son in amazement.

"Sekke are you fine? You are not forcing yourself, right?" asked Zuk.

"Hmm....no need to worry Dad it's not that difficult. Just tell me the directions." said Sekke as he just hummed a tune not thinking much about it.

Zuk told him the direction and just stared at him for a while. He knew that his son was a bit unique because of his actions he showed from time to time, like calling himself dark lord or not using Bah-ha while speaking. Not to mention his mana pool was quite large compared to even adults. If not for the fact that there was resemblance between him and and his son. He would have thought that he was not even his son. Even their affinity were same and he saw Elaine give birth to him.

He sighed thinking that his son would become a great person in future and felt proud of him.

"... Sekke I am glad that you are my son bah ha." said Zuk as he patted Sekke's shoulder.

"....Now just start using Bah-ha and I can say that there was nothing wrong in your up bringing bah ha." said Zuk.

"No" said Sekke and continued flying.

After flying for a while Sekke looked around with slight excitement as it was the first time he was leaving the town.

"Sekke, change directions from here. There will be some mana beasts residing in this region."

"Ok."

Sekke changed the directions and continued their journey but soon both of them heard a screech.

They turned around with a surprised look on their faces and saw a big bird following them.

"...Is that the mana beast that you talked about dad?"

"Yes, but why is it coming here we didn't infiltrate their territory?"

"It's searching for a food with large amount of mana a.k.a me." said Sekke without any worry?

"Hmm...is that so, how do you know that?"

"Well I have faced off against these types of birds before, they always try to eat me up and are able to sense me....let's deal with this soon." said Sekke as he turned around and headed towards the bird.

"Dad, take control of the broom for a while." said Sekke as he took out his sword.

"Bronze magic: Swords strike." said Sekke as multiple swords appeared around him and fired towards the beast.

The beast who saw that tried to dodge but two of them still struck the beast.

Sekke increased the speed of the broom and got directly above the bird and said, "Take care dad I will meet you on the ground." and jumped off from the broom.

"Well then Extase, it's your first prey after you got your name....let's use your unique ability." said Sekke as he channeled his mana to the sword making it glow.

Soon he landed on the bird's back and and sliced it's neck with his sword which passed through its skin, muscles band bones without much resistance and chopped off its head cleanly.

As soon as the bird lost its head Sekke started falling down along with the bird.

"....Hmm....now this is troublesome." muttered Sekke as he kept on falling towards the ground.

"I didn't think of a way to deal with after it is dead.....well any way Bronze magic: Hamster ball."

A round transparent shell appeared around Sekke as he changed he gripped his sword tightly.

"A blunt broad sword." said Sekke as the sword changed to the desired form.

He then pointed his sword towards the ground and said, "Extend" and the swords blade started growing and rushed towards the ground.

After falling for a while Sekke felt the sword hit the ground and his fall started slowing down and after a while it totally stopped.

Seeing that he was still quite up in the air he slowly started pulling the blade back and started descending and soon reached the ground safely.

Getting out of the shield Sekke looked around and soon found the body of the beast that he killed.

"SEKKE!!!" yelled Zuk as he rushed towards his son.

"Oh hey dad." said Sekke as he waved his hand.

"Don't hey dad me....what the hell was that are you fine? See you injured somewhere?" asked Zuk as he checked Seeke's body.

"Don't worry these things are small fries for me, no need to care much about it." said Sekke with a shrug making Zuk look at him with a deadpan expression on his face.

"....Sekke first of all that beast you just killed is not a small fr. Second, how the hell did you all that?!" asked Zuk.

Hearing that Sekke told him about what he usually do with the hunter but still kept hai other training a secret.

After hearing that Zuk nodded his head and said, "All right, no need to bother with that hunter anymore. I was wondering why he was so willing to get you as his assistant and make you work as a hunter. He even offered us money so as to adopt you...I was wondering where he got that kind of money, but seeing how you can easily deal with this beast which atleast would fetch 10, 000 Yul.....it's not surprising he got that much.

"...Wait a minute you are telling me that this beast could be sold for about 10k?" asked Sekke to which Zuk nodded.

Immediately Sekke frowned and said, "That bloody bastard of a hunter, he told me that it only sole for about 2000 Yul and only gave me about 500 Yul fort this.....Forget it he will feel the wrath of the dark lord once I go back." said Sekke seriously as a malicious smirk appeared in his face.
