5 First fight

A few days passed by since Sekke's birthday and the day when he got most of his promised abilities. He continued to train the abilities which were available, this also included with him using the sword as he borrowed a normal one from a blacksmith and then compared his sword with a regular one and just like he expected it was better than the normal one and was able to slash a think piece of wood in one strike.

And currently on his way to deliver the lunch to his father, Sekke was walking through the streets of Kiten holding a box wrapped in a cloth.

Soon he reached the mine where his father worked and was greeted by a lot of miners who were already familiar with him.

"Dad! your lunch." said Sekke as he called Zuk to have his lunch much to the relief of others who too would be able to take a break now.

"Alright, much break!! Don't get late for the second shift." said Zuk as he walked towards Sekke.

He was about to take his lunch but Sekke smack his hands telling him to wash his hands.

Once that was done he nodded and then decided to leave.

"Ah, Sekke. I asked amongst my friends about a swordsman bah-ha. Check this address some of them told me about him. He is hunter by profession and is proficient in sword....or so they say." said Zuk as he gave a small piece of paper to him.

Sekke took the paper and read the address and nodded his head. "Thanks dad." said Sekke with a smile on his face as he walked away thinking not going to meet this hunter.

Sekke soon reached the address that was given to him by his father. He informed his mother at home that he will go and ask this hunter and soon arrived at his place.

He knocked on the door of the house and soon heard someone coming towards the door.

"Yes?" asked a man with brown hair as he looked towards Sekke.

"Umm, are you the hunter by the name of Will?"

"Yes, that would be me."

"My father gave me your address and told me that you were proficient in swordsmanship....I also wanted to learn how to use a sword....will you teach me, if it is not a bother to you that is."

"Hmm.....come in first." said the man as he invited Sekke inside.

"...Can we talk here?" asked Sekke being slightly vary of the man in front of him and thought, 'There is no way that I will enter someone's house whom I not even know, I don't even know what type of person you are.'

"Hmm you were vary of me, ok pass. Now try to lift this up." said the man with a nod as he handed a few small sacks to Sekke.

Before he could say anything Sekke was holding the sacks given to him by the man and was surprised by how much they weighed.

"Hmm....you can carry it too. Okay I don't mind giving you a few tips while I am hunting, in return you will carry the small things that I catch and will act as a carrier. Is that fine." asked Will.

Sekke turned silent as he heard that. 'This man wants to make me work as a luggage carrier.....well it's not like I have many options let's try it, if he don't teach me anything for a week I will stop going with him.'

"Fine, but do teach me." said Sekke

"Okay, fine. I already talked about teaching you with your father and since you agreed to it let's get along from now on." said Will with a smile.

Both of them shook each others hands and agreed to their ends of the deal.

A few months later in a forest near Kiten:

"Sekke, get me the big one." said Will.

"... Aren't you getting too greedy lately?" asked Sekke.

"....And that guy will be very tough to fight against you know?" said Sekke as he pointed towards a boar which was of the same size as him.

"It's fine, don't worry. I will be here to finish it if you were to get seriously injured. You need to gain experience you know." said Will with a serious look on his face.

"....You just want to eat that pork..." said Sekke with a deadpan look as he knew what this man whom he has been practicing under wanted.

A few months earlier when Sekke started learning under him, he was quite a bit skeptical of the way Will taught him. He just as he told him, gave a few pointers from time to time, and showed some basic movements to him. After that he told him he just need to improve that and his battle instincts and would usually toss him towards the prey he wanted to catch and let him fight for his life.

Any way you look at it, this was not something Sekke was going to go along with but the fact that there were no other sword users in the town made him stop and follow this link man.

'... Seriously, if you don't have a good magic affinity can't you just learn how to use sword and teach me.' thought Sekke as he ranted at the people of the town.

Sekke slowly unsheathed his sword and carefull came out of the bushes.

He took his stance as he made a ball of bronze which was now slightly bigger than what he was able to make after getting the abilities on his birthday.

He fired the ball towards the boar who realized that someone was behind him a bit later but was too late to dodge the attack and was thrown slightly away because of the hit from the bronze ball.

Sekke rushed towards the boar who was still stumbling a bit because of the hit from the ball. Sekke soon appeared in front of the the boar and slashed towards it.

Seeing that the boar raised his head to let the sword hit it's tusks blocking the attack.

Sekke frowned as he heard the metallic clank.

"Bronze shield." said Sekke as he made a proper shield instead of a disc in his other hand as he saw the boar trying to push him away.

The boar struck the shield and pushed Seeke away away flipped a few times to balance himself. He soon readies him and started running around changing his direction at every instant making the bor confused, making him unable to choose where to charge.

Seemed smirked at that and fired another ball of Bronze towards it making the boar jump to the side to dodge it, but to his surprise there was another ball coming towards him from the other direction taking it by surprise and hit it's head.

Sekke who saw that the boar made a loud noise because of the lain didn't waste the chance and rushed towards him from behind and jumped on top of the boar before he pierced the boar's neck with full force.

The boar started running around once it felt someone on top of it.

"Wah!"

Sekke yelled once the boar started running at full speed while also trying to make him fall off his back, but Sekke held onto his back....or more like to his sword which was already pierced inside the boar.

"Bronze wall." said Sekke making a small wall in front of the boar making it crash into it.

Sekke used the opportunity when the boar was stumbling and pierced the boar once again, but this time near its heart and then jumped from top of it.

Will who was standing on the side nodded his head as he felt that the fight was satisfactory and then his grimoire started floating beside him.

"Earth magic: Rising spike." and soon a spike pierced the already about to die boar and killed him.

Sekke who saw that the boar was dead looked towards his hands which were numb because of the head on confrontation with the boar and sighed, 'Well it's not like it's easy to become the dark lord....'

He then sat down on the ground and waited for will to collect the boar before they went out of the forest.

'....Wait wasn't that my first real fight?...' thought Sekke as he just realised that.

'....I will celebrate later tonight. First fight and first kill at the same day.....now that's what you call improvement and I didn't even feel that whole 'fuck I am feeling nauseous and want to puke because I just kill someone' thingy....maybe I really am a dark lord.....or it's just that I have seen Will do this thing in front of me a lot of times.' thought Sekke as he shrugged his shoulders.
