16 CHARLOTTE ROSELEI IS IN LOVE?

[IN A TOWN IN THE NOBLE REALM]

in the morning at the town a youngster with black clothes with a katana by his side was walking through the capital. this was yami and he had turned 20 years old. he has already mastered [MANA ZONE] and can fight evenly with mereoleona without his magic items supporting him. even julius can't defeat him when he goes all out . he is currently resting in this town after completing a mission.

my mana has reached early wizard king class and my combat abilities have reached early elite wizard king class. no one in this kingdom can defeat me in a one on one match. i walk through the capital doing my duty as a magic knight and patrolling the capital. i suddenly feel hungry and enter a restaurant and order some food. i think about my future as i eat my food.

yami :'it's been ten years since i have come to this world. i have forgot most of the anime i saw in my last life. now i only remember the important characters and some information. i might also remember something if some events happen near me. my strength is reaching it's limit and won't improve without a strong enough opponent. the only way to increase my strength is to improve my technique's.'

as i eat my food i sense an immense amount of mana . briar's comes from the outside and attacks the people in the restaurant . i quickly take action

yami :"[DARK MAGIC : DARK CLOAKED LIGTHLESS SLASH]"

i cut up the briar's and i head outside. a distance away from the restaurant , a noble mansion is covered up by briar's and are attacking the civilians. i head there and hear the people screaming

citizen 1 :" it's the curse!!. the curse of house roselei as awakened!!!."

citizen 2 :"run for your lives!!"

citizen 3 :"it's no good. we can't stop it!!.run"

the people are trying to stop the briar's but fails to do so. the citizen are escaping from the briar's. yami arrives there and watches the situation.

yami :' briar magic and the house of roselei? and this mana . is the source of these briar's charlotte roselei?. the people are talking about a curse. is this incident because of the curse?. i seem to recall a plot like this in the anime. if i recall correctly yami/i will save's charlotte in the anime when this incident occurs.'

yami :"[DARK MAGIC : DARK CLOAKED LIGHTLESS SLASH]"

yami jumps into the sea of briar's and uses his magic to cut through it . he head's straight towards the source of this magic. reaching the source yami sees charlotte being caught by her own magic

(CHARLOTTE ROSELEI POV)

charlotte :'i can't stop it. my magic is going out of control. it's going to swallow the entire town!!. god damnit . i'm so worthless. so pathetic.'

charlotte get swallowed by[ her briar's. she thinks about her past and the promise she made to herself

[FLASHBACK CHARLOTTE ]

WITCH :"A CURSE. I CURSE THE HOUSE OF ROSELEI !!!.WHEN SHE TURNS THE AGE OF 18,THIS CURSE WILL COME TO BEAR. IT WILL ENGULF YOU ALL AND TRAP YOU WITHIN A CAGE OF TIME."

a witch placed a curse on me due to her hatred of our family. every time i see my parent's they always cry for me. i still remember my conversation with my parents.

father :"ahhh! how could this be charlotte!!.

mother :"if only we could figure out how to break the spell"

young charlotte :"don't cry,mother and father. i'll become strong. stronger than anyone else! and i will defeat this curse!

(TIME IN THE MAGIC KNIGHTS)

charlotte is walking through the streets in her magic knight outfit. the surrounding citizens are talking about her

citizen 1 :"that newbie from the blue rose knights is so powerful!"

citizen 2 :"not to mention beautiful !"

citizen 3 :"i heard she raised her rank yet again. it's incredible! "

suddenly two noble youngster's bow's before her with gifts in their hands and propose's her.

noble 1 :"lady charlotte, please marry me!"

noble 2 :"no , please marry me"

charlotte attacks them with her magic. they are unable to react and gets trapped by the briar's.

charlotte :"if you can't even handle me. how do you expect to handle the weight of my curse?. i am surrounded by weak men who are all talk. i will overcome this curse with my own strength."

[FLASHBACK OVER]

[PRESENT]

while being swallowed by the briar's she hear's the scream's from the outside.

citizen 1 :" it's the curse!!. the curse of house roselei as awakened!!!."

citizen 2 :"run for your lives!!"

citizen 3 :"it's no good. we can't stop it!!.run"

hearing the citizen's scream's charlotte close's her eyes accepting her fate.

charlotte :'i'm sorry father , mother.'

suddenly i hear a voice from the outside

yami :"[DARK MAGIC : DARK CLOAKED LIGHTLESS SLASH]"

a hole is cut through the briar's surrounding charlotte. light comes from the hole and the figure of a man comes into her view. the man is wearing black clothes and has a strange sword in his hand. this is yami.

yami faces charlotte and says

yami :"what do you think you're doing. huh? drowning your city with your briars. can't you let me eat in peace?."

charlotte :'yami sukehiro!!!. for me to show myself in such an unsightly way to a man like him. what a disgrace.'

yami :"not quite fitting of the woman who's always carrying out missions with a clear and composed face. always one step ahead of everyone and encouraging them. i like strong women. but it's alright to lean on someone else for help every now and then. you've got plenty of strong, dependable people you can turn to , all around you in the magic knights you know?"

after i finish speaking the briar's in the surroundings disappears and charlotte gain control over her magic again.

yami :" that's it?. well that was easy"

i look at charlotte and she stands there with her head down without saying a word. i didn't think that all it took to solve a curse was me saying some bullshit. if i stay here any longer i will have to clean up her mess .so better scoot.

yami :"i know that you are a strong woman , so clean up the mess you made. well then bye"

yami quickly escapes from there. he heads towards the grey deer's base riding a base.

yami :'riding a broom is such a pain. once i become a squad captain i should get myself a ride(spatial mage).'

charlotte stands there with her head down, but her face is all red. she is blushing.

charlotte :'why does my heart beat so fast when i think about that man yami sukehiro'
