6 Zorin

We had a great harvest this time."

"I bet we can last an entire year with this."

Two men were chatting out and about close to them is a wagon loaded with wheat, corns, an assortment of vegetables.

"Poor Farmers," one of the men smiled as he went after a red apple on the wagon.

"Isn't Abgner entrusted to go to Gherin's place?" the other one inquired.

"Truly, I bet he stabbed the Old man at this point," a crunching sound was delivered as he began eating the fruit.

Help!

They quit taking a gander at each other and turned their attention to the shout.

"What the heck happened to you?" the two of them had a paralyzed face as they saw a man unusually strolling to them.

"At Gherin's place...", the man's heavy breathing became evident as he got closer to the men, the explanation behind the bizarre walking turned out to be apparent as wounds appeared on arms and faces and his worn out garments.

"Who did this to you Abgner?" one concernedly asked while the other one cleared a spot on the wagon.

The fat man sat on the cleared spot," I got run over by a merchant wagon, it still hurts."

The other men took a gander at each other," Can you describe who did this to you?" he asked once more.

"A young man from far Black Spot Bear," Abgner angrily recalled.

"A man from that far," the one who asked whispered to himself.

"He has a wagon, and we can simply ambush him on the bridge," the person who just ate proposed.

"No...No… he can turn back since Gherin most likely told him regarding the bridge as of now", the other declined.

Abgner told them two concerning his doubt that the person who ran him over is the reason behind why Gherin's supply got lesser and lesser over time passes.

"That is conceivable," them two concurred.

"Hey, treat Abgner's wounds, I'll report this to Leader, I bet Gherin's by all account not the only one trying to trick us this all time," the person who just asked take a gander at the other one sitting tight for him to gesture and he did.

He moved toward a stallion attached on to a massive stick alongside a tall tower building and loosened it.

"I bet Leader will murder some of them on the off chance that he discovered," the man said as he took a look at the man riding a steed get farther and farther.

"That is good for me," Abgner concurred with a knowing grin, presumably with the prospect of Gherin's mind break as Abgner cut his grandson and doing Gherin after.

"I said it to you Hanzo, Zorin and the others will never agree to your plan."

"Let's just see," Hanzo and Gherin were whispering to each other inside a house, it's mostly similar to Gherin's but slightly more prominent, In front of them was a closed door and two loud voices on the other side.

"His wife won't let Zorin agree, she's a good mother, she needs Zorin alive to take care of their sons", Gherin commented.

Hanzo took a glance at the left window, he saw three boys, a little younger than Gherin's grandson, playing beside a well. He quit watching the boys happily play when the door in front of them opened, a black-haired man with a bushy mustache went out, his muscles shown as the oily sweat covers his body.

"I bet you already know my answer," the man said in a husky voice.

"I understand…", Gherin solemnly answered.

"Do you have an extra sword?", Zorin took a glance at Hanzo's red sheath attached to his waist.

"Yes, luckily, I do have one for unexpected situations," Hanzo smiled.

"Let's go outside first," Zorin suggested.

The three of them passed the door, and Zorin took a glance at his wife and made a gestured then the wife took the three boys inside closing the door in their bedroom.

"I don't want them to see any kinds of violence, no matter how small," he explained.

Hanzo threw a silver sword to Zorin, he then looked at the blade, seeing his reflection, his thick eyebrows, and brown eyes, "good quality," he commented.

"You can borrow that if you want," Hanzo offered.

"Well, I can't just agree to your plan, it's too risky, and the others won't hesitate to say no, that's why you went to me first even thou Homer's farm is just beside Gherin's probably," Zorin took a look at Gherin's face.

"I heard you're a sort of leader here," Hanzo recalled the things Gherin told him.

"Gherin and the others rely on me on heavy stuff they can't handle, that's just a nonsense honorific," Zorin humbly answered.

"Let's stop the chat and begin," Zorin proposed.

"Yes, we shall," Hanzo agreed.

Gherin had a look of surprise; he can see Hanzo taking out a slashing sword from his sheath while Zorin took a stance.

Zorin gripped multiple times to familiarize the sword that's when he was surprised when Hanzo ran towards him in a matter of a second.

He did not hesitate to slash downward holding the sword with two hands, although he was too late since Hanzo dodged with a hair breath difference.

Hanzo then slashed towards Zorin's neck, but Zorin unexpectedly was fast enough to block the attack.

Zorin performed a counter that's when Hanzo took a step back and dodged.

"That's why you're confident enough to take down the Troll Bandits," Zorin commented.

"So that's enough?", Hanzo asked.

"No your skills might be enough for a duel, but we're talking about people who will gang up a stronger enemy," Zorin answered.

Unlike last time Zorin is the one who took charge, he slashed rightward and leftward simultaneously, sounds come as steel and steel clashed against each other, and it's evident that Zorin is using his full force on each attack. Hanzo's body is like a human where Zorin looked like a giant but what was surprising is that Hanzo was able to block Zorin's attack successfully and with just one hand.

Gherin noticed the reducing speed of Hanzo, Hanzo was not able to make a counter attack since Zorin barrage did not stop yet. But then he was surprised when Zorin was about to slash rightward instead of blocking his attack, Hanzo dodged downward and then rotated his body and attempted to attack with a stabbing motion.

Zorin had a shock on his face, Hanzo was able to make a small wound to Zorin's neck, and little drops of blood can be seen flowing on his skin and a few centimeters to the left where Hanzo's still sword is.

A sound of crashing steel came as Zorin dropped his sword as an act of yield.

"We got the head, and now we'll get the legs," Hanzo looked at Gherin's awed face as he returned the sword to his waist.
