" Bela has lived a 'normal' life for 17 years as a Transwoman living in a metropolitan city. Yes, there was a lot of drama, but things have been as she wished them to be. But when an unexpected tragedy occurs, her life is turned upside down.

She's confused, she doesn't know what to do. In all this, she meets Ashwat, A mysteriously charming boy with something different about him.

With the help of Ashwat, Lekha and a bunch of other people, she sets out on a journey to discover the reason why weird and unimaginable things are happening with her.

She discovers truths she was unaware of. She learns answers to the questions which have troubled her for almost forever. Above all, she finds the truth behind her existence, behind the powers she withholds. But this power comes at a cost... "

A U T H O R S   N O T E

Bela and Ashwat's story was always with me. I tried to pen them down a lot of times, but sometimes, the setting would go wrong whereas sometimes, their characters would grow wrong. It was a rollercoaster writing about them.

Finally, I decided to begin writing about them here, on Wattpad. A place where people accept each others works with an open mind.

Bela and Ashwat belong to families which have gone against the nature of their being. Everyone will know how, when they read the book. But that does not make them bad. They're powerful, and easy to manipulate.

This story is not about good or bad, its about getting to know ones identity and also building a world where everyone who feels alone can find themselves. I also wrote this book because I wanted to establish a foundation for the upcoming novels that I'm going to write for this series.

Black and Silver will be a companion novel to a series I'm planning to write, based on the same universe. I hope you all enjoy reading!
