2 Chapter 1: Lover in the dungeon.

I open my eyes, and all I could see was faint shadows in the darkness. A flickering light in the distance and yet I couldn't think how I ended up here.

Footsteps, distant and yet gradually getting louder, I knew someone was approaching my cell.

It could be heard echoing, rebounding against the stone walls.

My body was shivering from the cold, damp air. I could see my own hands tremble.

"Why was I like this?"

I couldn't move at all, I could only stare at the man that had finally reached my cell.

From the distance I could see a tall man, his gaze met mine, but he suddenly stared at me in surprise.

Although it didn't last long, I could tell that he was up to something. He clearly looked well off, dressed in a long deep blue robe and a banner of some sort on his head.

"So, I guess you must be wondering why I might be here to see you?"

I stare at him, but I'm really lost in thought. I try to move my lips together to form some words and manage to just muster enough energy to say something:

"Who are you?"

This strange man who came to see me in my cell, slowly moves his hands onto the bars of my prison.

His expression changes from one extreme to the next and yet he yells at me.

"Who am I? What do you mean by that?"

I just sit here in silence.

I can see even in my fragile state that I don't want to piss this guy off.

In my head though, all sorts of cursing could be said to be running through my head.

If he could visualise my thoughts, I swear he'd see a little kid jumping up and down, fuming into a giant cloud of smog, head to toe going

"Why the fuck are you angry at me for !!!"

"Where the fuck am I?!?"

"You're a real piece of trash, aren't you?"

Before I could even begin to form a question, I noticed that his expression went from rather confused to even amused for a moment.

I blink my eyes a couple times. "I'm really not fuckn imagining this am I. Your grinning! Why???"

His brows furrow a bit and all I see is this even more hideous grin begin to form. The corners of his lips, almost unnaturally, curve further upwards and all I hear is this piercing laugh.

"I'm amused. You really have no idea why your here. Do you even know who you are? Who you once were?"

"How important you are to me?"

"You are the key to my victory, my assured future is now guaranteed."

"I can tell you this, you're going to remain right there. You won't find comfort here"

"It was nice to talk to you An Wei" and with that, he rubs his fingers against my cell and swiftly turns and strides away.

That glisten that shone in his eyes was obvious as he turned away from me.

He absolutely despised me and I had no idea why.

All I could think while I sat in my cell listening to him, was that I knew, this person was no friend of mine and I needed to find a way out.
