4 Trouble! My bestfriend!

Hailey's p.o.v.

"Are you dumb and deaf or what?" He asked quite rudely. He was looking at me angrily, it made me nervous. At the top of that my phone kept ringing. I did what I thought was best at that time, I ran out of that balcony. Yes I ran! It was embarrassing! But at that time I just couldn't think of a better option.

"Hey you, girl! Wait!" I heard his angry voice calling me; but I ignored it and rushed towards the elevator. I saw behind thinking that maybe handsome stranger would be following me. Thank god! He wasn't. I reached down left the hotel building. My phone it was still ringing. They must be worried, about me!

It was Blaze. I picked up his call. "Where are you Hailey? Are you ok?" Asked my friend's really worried voice. Oh no I made him worried. "I am fine Blaze, I am outside the hotel building. I needed some air." I whispered.

"Thank god, you are ok! We were so worried. We are finding you since a hour Hailey!" Blaze shouted. "I am so sorry, i was feeling really suffocated out there." I said guiltily.

I heard him sign. "It's ok, stay outside. We are coming."

In 5 minutes they were out. "You got us worried lee!" Char said hugging me. "I am sorry. I didn't realized it was so late." "You are ok right?" Jason asked. I nodded my head. "I am really tired, lets just go home please." I said looking at the time, it was almost midnight.

"Let these couple be lee. I will drop you home." Blaze said putting hand around my shoulder. I rested my head on his shoulder, my head started to pain again. "No we are leaving too." Jason said.

"I think Blaze is right. You two carry on, i will leave with him."

"But." Char said. "Seriously Char. It's ok." I said and we both left. Whole way home, i was thinking about him! Who was he? Did he saw my face? I mean it was quite dark. I hope he didn't! And if he did too, I hope we never meet in life again. It would be too damn embarrassing for me!

But i wouldn't mind meeting him again!!. There surely was something mysterious about him, that makes me want to meet him again, to know about him!

What the hell am i thinking?!!! From where are these thoughts coming from. How can i even wish of meeting him again? in front of whom I completely embarrassed myself? I seriously wish we never meet again. He would be thinking what kind of stupid girl I am. Who just runs aways like that? For love of god! He thought i was dumb and deaf!

"Are you even listening to me?" Blaze asked. "Huh?" I said completely oblivious, of what he was saying. "I have been talking and talking since 5 minutes now Lee! you are lost in your own dreamland."

"No,I am just tired I guess." yes,I am tired. I need to sleep and get HIM out of my mind.

I keep thinking about his face outline, look of his face. I could'nt help but I was getting quite curious, to know how he look! I mean I saw his face but not fully. He was handsome as hell for sure.

"See you" I said giving Blaze a hug.

"Will you tell the what happened in that one hour?" Blaze asked, looking at me with a amuse look at his face. I should have known, he will know something is different I've known Blaze my whole life ,I don't even remember a thing that I have not told him ! i have told everything to Blaze about what happens with me ,and I am used to it.

I don't know how but whenever i see him, i jus have to tell him if sometging happpened, and he knows my that weaknesses too well.

"you know me so well blaze! sometimes it scares me." I said teasingly.

"oh come on Hailey I've known you my whole life,whole way out here you were completely lost, its like you were having a good dream or something!" He asked with his expression all teasing.

"No! I was not." I squeaked.

"Dont tell me you met some guy, kissed him and fell in love with him!" He asked gasping. My eyes widened just imagining me kissing that stranger, and falling in love with him!

"You are blushing Hailey! What? You seriously met someone?" Blaze asked now holding my shoulder. He had big goofy smile on his face. We were sitting at his car parked outside my place.

Before his imagination creates some else story, I told him everything about what happened with me. My best friend like always found it amusing and started laughing.

"I knew I shouldn't have told you this."

I said frowning!

"ok ok I am sorry." Blaze said he literally had water running down his eyes from laughing out so loud.

I was really angry right now! I knew the situation was very embarrassing to share it with somebody, then too like fool i told him. I got down from the car angrily. "i said, i am sorry!" Blaze pouted stopping me. "You are making fun of me." I said pouting back.

"You can't blame me, it was hilarious!." He said grinning. I slaped his shoulder. "Drop it now Blaze!" I whined. I knew he would forever tease me about it. "You could have just stand there and told him. 'Hi i am came here before you so f**k off'." he said and went and sat casually on the hood of his car. I followed him and stood besides him.

"Yes, you are right. But I don't know his...his voice was so intimating, you know filled with authority, like he owned the person ,It was dark and still his look made me gulp. I guess i got scared!" I mumbled. "Only you can get scared of person you don't even know Lee." He said and ruffled my hair. I slapped his hand. "Don't!" It was like whole building was asleep. There was pin drop silence.

I sat besides Blaze on the hood and laid back to look up the sky, he did the same. "Are things still same with Lina?" I asked. Blaze had a girlfriend since 2 years, he met her at office and there fell in love! But just a month ago I think they broke up. They both were perfect together, since they work together I think there's still hope. "It's over between us Lee. I don't think we were ment to be." He signed. Blazed thought she was getting too pushy with him, this was just a explanation he gave me, and then said he need to close this chapter.

"You made any boyfriend that I dont know off? Any crush aside from today's mystery man?" I rolled my eyes. "Crush? Seriously? I hardly saw his face. Maybe I am just curious about him." "You never know, you can meet him again." He said. "I wish we never meet again." I whispered,. even though, somewhere I wanted opposite of it.

"But seriously Lee, you need a boyfriend, since-" i knew where the topic was going, do i stopped him. "Today was tiring Blaze,I should go!" Blaze nodded his head understanding that I didnt wanted to talk about it.

In Life we can live without pain, if we stop thinking about the reason of it. Of course that's what I think. I prefer not to think about the bad times of my life, with many difficulties I have picked up broken pieces. I am rebuilding my life, and I will not look back, that's for sure.

Next day as planned, Charlotte moved out. So now, I was left alone without any roommate. I was at diner looking through the money and all of it. "Hellloo." Erin said coming and sitting besides me. "Hi." I noticed that Erin was looking a bit diffirent. I gasped "what have you done Erin!" Erin was looking a bit nervous and scared. "Aunty will kill you!" I said looking at her pierced nose. "I know! And I know only you can save me from her!" She said holding my hand.

I dont think i can manage her this time. My aunt was really strict about all this tatoos and piercing. Erin was only 16, obviously she won't be ok about this. My 16 year old cousin always do things , which aunty does'nt likes and comes to me expecting me to save her from her. I always save her too. "Why did you did this if you knew aunty would kill you!" She rolled her eyes. "Because I wanted to, and I knew you would support me and save me from her!"

"I got up and went towards the counter "I don't think I can help you this time."

Erin held my hand and begged "Don't say Such thing Hailey, please help me!!"

I couldn't say no "I will try." After sometime when Aunty Saw her obviously she went mad, and started shouting at her. Somehow I calmed her down, but she was angry and not talking with Erin. Tom was not cool with it either, but he was not so mad. Erin id my little sister and I love her loads. She is not a trouble child, she's a teenager and wants to live her life fully. I dont support her in wrong things always. She's a good child, not so bad in studies either, just stubborn. "I made her mad again, I don't think she will forgive me." Erin whispered. "I disappointed her!"

"Aww, come here." I said and hugged her. It looked like she was about to cry. "She will forgive you soon. Don't worry." Erin went home after sometime and i got busy. Diner was really full.

When it was 8 I was about to leave when Aunt stopped me. "I want to talk to you honey." I sat down besides her. "About what?"

"About your rent issues. Have you thought of something to solve this problem?"

"I dont know what to do, I will wait for a week if i don't find a roommate till then, so will find some job."

"Well, i have some job for you." She said looking at me with small smile. I looked at her confusingly. "Honey, Jasons mother met me yesterday, she was telling me that her nephew had a little girl and he needed a babysitter to take care of her." Aunty and Jasons mom were really close friends. "You mean Jason's cousin? Is it one that owns hotel?" I asked.

"Yes Hailey." She said nodding her head. "He needs one, you know his wife is dead and he works all day, one babysitter just left the job 2 days ago. Girl is just 6 years old."

"You are asking me to go there and be her babysitter? " i asked surprisingly.

"Yes, why not dear, you need job imidiately and he needs someone urgently to take care of his daughter, and also i am sure you will get paid quite well."

"How will that work, I mean the way you are telling me, i think he needs someone who could take care of her whole day! I just need a part time job."

"Look honey, he is really rich. For taking care of his daughter for half a day he would pay you double of what you own here. You would not even need to work here. You can always attend college and go there till 3, she comes back from school at that time, take care of her till he comes back from work and go home!"

"No, i love to work here! I can't just not come here." I can't even think about not coming and working here everyday.

"For once, be practical sweetheart. You need money and you can come here whenever you want. I think right now its a perfect job for you. This way your studies won't get effected and I think rent problem will also be solved." She was looking really happy about the idea,but I was not.

"I don't think so aunty. Its just that bieng someone's babysitter? Such job did'nt even crossed my mind! I am not so good with kids. I have never even spent alone time with children before!" I tried to explain.. "You just said that you have never spent alone time with them before; so how can you tell you are not good with kids?"

"I anyways dont think that the pay would be enough for my rent and college fees." How much could bieng a babysitter pay you?

"Believe me it would. I told you they are rich!" I was still not liking a idea of taking care of some kid. "See I am not telling you to give me answer right away, think and let me know till tomorrow. I won't force you, it will be completely your decision. It's just that I think its best thing to do." I was so not ok with this idea, but I won't say no to her right away. "Ok, I will think about it." I said and started to walk back towards my place. It was not so far away.

Way back home, I kept thinking about what aunty just said to me. Should I consider of bieng someone's babysitter? How can I take care of someone's child, when I was so careless wi-

My thoughts were broken when my phone rang. It was Blaze. "Hi." I said picking up his call. "Where are you?"

"Just left diner, walking back home."

Suddenly, I could'nt hear anything. My phone's battery just died. my phone was decent one, Best I could afford. I must have forgotten to charge it.

Usually it takes 15 minutes for me to reach home from Diner, where I live that area is usually not so filled with people. This was only place that had nice appartmens at cheaper prize. I never thought area not bieng So Safe at night time, but now I was feeling so when I sensed someone following me. My place was still 10 minutes away, I was feeling a bit scared now. Even my phone was dead! I started to walk a bit faster, and did'nt dared to look back.

Footsteps got faster too. Shits! someone was really following ME! what should I do? I started running , but bieng clumsy as always, I fell! I looked up an saw a really dirty looking man with big beard and awful yellow teeth , was giving me a wicked smile . He looked like he had not taken bath since years! Did I mentioned he had knife?!!

"Beautiful girls like you, should stop roaming out alone at night." He said laughing like maniac. I got up quickly and was going to run when the crazy man brought his leg in between and i fell down. Shit! It hurted like hell! The place we were at was really abandoned, not even single person was seen out here. Usually i leave diner by 6, i got late and this is what happens. "Help! Someone please help me!" I started to get up again but that person held my hair roughly and pulled me up. "Ah!" I yelled in pain. "Shut the f**k up you bitch! Give me all money you have NOW! Or else I will slice your throat off!"

"I don't have money! Please leave me!" He looked crazy all I could see was hair at his face, his breath stinked of alcohol! He moved away to pick up my bag, at that time I kick him hard as I could and when he fell down I kicked his balls, picked my bag and ran as fast as I could! I could hear him groaning in pain. I thought of running at opposite direction of my place, as he would definitely follow me. I was running at direction of the Diner. Please save me god!

When did diner happend to be so far? Don't tell me I took wrong turn! Why? Why am I so damn stupid! Yes I did took a left instead of a right. Maybe i should just find some public place. I looked back tired and saw that crazy man, he was not so far away. I kept running and looking back. He was still following me! Running I didn't realized that I was running at middle of the road.

I felt light on my eyes, and then a loud honking! Someone was here!! I waved at car and shouted help! Car stopped leaving just a inch between car and me. I was so shocked, scared and tired of running that I fainted! My head hit the car.

I felt someone talking. It was all blur! Then I heard voice, that same rude and angry voice! "Couldn't find someone's else car for suicide?"

"Are you ok? Can you hear me?" He asked touching my face, and then everything went blank.
