5 And we met again
My head was hurting, and I could surely feel someone trying to wake me up. I just wanted to rest for a bit. I groaned "leave me alone."
"what the hell!" I shouted. It felt like I was pushed at some lake, and I was drowning! I was wide awake now looking at where I was! I was lying at middle of road; that's for sure.
"Ow!" I moaned as I got up to sit. My head it was paining a lot. Someone cleared throat, my eyes first landed on nice and expensive looking shoes, and then legs which was covered in grey trousers and legs by the way were very long ,and then at some man's handsome upper body! Hot upper body! Broad and from suite too it could me see; that he work out like hell! Even more than Blaze! And finally at his face! He was handsome! I think handsome was not right word! I think no word is meant for a person, who looks so perfect. Strong jaw, five'o clock shadow, sharp nose! His hair were of dark blond colour and eyes, I am sure are grey! I couldn't make out exact colour from where I was sitting.
Where was I sitting?!! Checking out this handsome stranger, I totally forgot what just happened! Taking my eyes off the handsome stranger was difficult, but I managed!
"God! You are awake! Now I can leave." His similar angry and irritated voice said. My eyes widened, it's him?!! No he can't be him!
"Can't you speak? Are you dumb?" He said coming towards me, looking at me with blank expression. I rolled my eyes, it's sure him.
I somehow found my voice, which was lost looking at his face oh so handsome face. "What happened here?"
Stranger looked at me strangely. "I don't know what happened. I was just passing by and you suddenly came in front of my car to die! So you tell me what happened!"
"I I was just going home w-" I was just about to tell him what happened but he interrupted me rudely. "You know what! I don't want to hear it I don't have time for this shit! I have some better work to do than this it shit"
my mouth dropped open how can someone be so rude . He started to go towards his car. I looked around and saw, there was no one around. It was quite dark and scary. "Are you seriously going to just leave me alone?" I said and walked towards him.
"So what do you want me to do? Take you home with me, I don't even know you. "Well he had a point. "But what how will I go home?"
"That's not my look out "my mouth again dropped open. He only has a good-looking face. He is such a big asshole. How can a man leave A girl alone at this time of the night. He went and sat inside his car. No way in hell I'm going to let him leave me here alone. What if that ugly man comes back?
So I did, what I thought was right thing to do. I went and sat inside his car! "What the hell?" He hissed.
"Well you are dropping me at my place, whether you like it or not!" I stated stubbornly. He was looking really pissed off right now. "Get out of my car right now!"
"No I won't" I said.
"No, I'm not driving, till you get out."He said and removes the keys from the car.
"Well then let's sit here in the car whole night. At least I will be safe. "There's no way I am walking alone at this time! ohh nooo! Blaze would be so worried! My phone is dead. He must be out searching for me. I need to call him, and let him know that I am fine!
"Can I call my friend?" I asked the stranger. He was leaning back with his eyes closed and looking really angry. Suddenly his pissed off face was right in front of mine. "look girl, You are really making me mad now. Just leave! I have better things to do than this. I would suggest you to leave, before I do something really bad to you." Yesterday I thought his voice was intimating but his looks were worse than that!
"Look, you need to understand I was almost robbed and killed some hours ago! You can't blame me to be scared to walk alone at this time of night." He was about to say something, but I stopped him by talking again. "My phone is dead, I can't call anyone, so just drop me at my place, and I will never bother you again." I said pleadingly.
He groaned loudly, and banged his hand on dashboard. I flinched. "Fine, if that will make you go away. Just tell me your fucking address!" So I told him directions while he drove. I don't think asking him to let me call would be a good idea. So I kept quiet.
I told him to stop and I got out of the car, as expected blaze was standing outside my place, looking worried as hell!
I just turned back to tell handsome stranger thanks but he left. He was such a strange man. I met him yesterday and today, it's kind of hard to believe that we met again. Thank god he didn't know that it was me yesterday. I embarrassed myself enough in front of him in these two days.
"Hailey thank god you're safe. I was so worried about you." Please came towards me and gave me a big hug. I hugged him back. I was so thankful that the day finally ended. It was almost 1 at night. I told blaze everything that happened tonight. Blaze was staying the night; I was too scared to stay alone.
"Well you are safe because of him! He can't be that bad. He waited for you till you woke up; he could just have left you alone unconscious." Blaze somehow thought that he was the good guy. If only he would have met him, I thought rolling my eyes.
"Let's not talk about this now! I want to sleep." I said closing my eyes.
"Ok." Blaze said lying down beside me.
I closed my eyes, but was not able to sleep. My thoughts were on the man who was nothing but rude, jerk and arrogant,
And also incredibly handsome!
I should just sleep now!!!!

"so? What's your decision?" aunty asked. It was next day at coffee shop. Well really I completely forgot about this babysitting thing till now. My mind was still on that handsome stranger, whom I should have forgotten till now.
"I haven't given it a thought still." I said getting up and walking towards the counter. She followed me. "well I told my friend that I would give her answer till evening! So better hurry up."
My eyes widened. "you think I would be able to take care of a 6 year old?" I still couldn't get why she thought that I was good enough for this.
"Ofcource! Maybe you are not perfect, but I think you will do just fine, and more than that you need this job honey!" yes that I do. I nodded my head. "Ok, I think I should give it a try." What would I lose? If I don't like it there then I can anytime leave the job and come back right?
It was 6 at evening and I was now standing in front of a house which was huge. It was not like a mansion, but it was not any less than that. I booked myself an appointment for interview. I wanted to come next but aunty won't listen and she made me come today itself so that I could join from tomorrow.
I had to take bus to come here, so I was not looking my best right now. This didn't make me feel better. I was all sweaty and my hair was a mess. I signed and went towards the typical big black gate of the house, where two huge security guards were standing.
"yes?" one of the scary looking man asked. "I-I have an appointment with Mr. Anderson."
"name?"
"Hailey cooper!" I said clearing my throat.
he nodded his head and opened the gate for me. I gulped, why am I getting scared f this place? It's like a mystery. I wanted to turn back and run, but I made myself go inside. You need money to survive Hailey! The door of the house was open! I still knocked, but no one answered. What should I do?
"Hailey?" a really squeaky voice asked, it was old a 40 or so year old man with a big creepy smile. I nodded my head. I was not able to talk today, I don't know why.
"come in sweetheart, Mr. Wilson is waiting for you." I followed him. Mr. Wilson?, why is he waiting? I thought I was meeting her father? He took me towards room that looked like a study room to me. "here, you may now go inside, Mr. Wilson will ask you some questions and let you know what you will do around here." He said giving me a smile.
I was about to ask him where was Mr. Anderson, but before that he left leaving me standing there alone. The door was wide open and whole study was seen from here, and let me tell you it looked beautiful. I was staring at it with my mouth wide open. I was not a reader but looking at all these thousands of book I wanted to go and read. I went inside to see that a man was standing, his back facing towards me, he was talking on the phone with someone. All I could here was yes, he was just nodding his head continued to say yes.
He then sensed that someone was in the room and turned back. "I will call you later." he said and gave me a big smile looking at me. "Miss cooper, please have a seat, he said pointing towards a couch. He was quiet tall and handsome maybe in his early 30's, and also with a really sweet smile.
"so Miss cooper, I would like to ask you some basic questions if you don't mind?"
"please call me Hailey, and sure you can." Then this man whose name I heard was Alec asked me some questions relating to my background, what I do etc. I spend 30 minutes or so conversing with him. He told me that he worked with Mr. Anderson in his hotel, and he was not here as was busy with some work. I found it a bit strange, I was here to take care of his daughter he should have been here to ask me question. He must really trust Alec. "you are overqualified for this job Hailey." Alec said amusingly. "yes but the money you are providing me is really very much and I need money." I said giving him a smile. Aunty was right the money which I am getting from here is enough to pay rent , even then quiet enough money would be left.
"look Hailey, you would take care of Beth after she returns from school that is since 3 in afternoon, and you would leave after giving her dinner, making her do her homework and making her sleep, that would be after 10." So the little girl's name was Beth. I nodded my head, although 10 would be late for me, but I think I would manage.
"so ready to meet Beth?"
My eyes widened, I was about to meet a little girl, yes I was nervous as hell. "don't be nervous, I am sure you will do great!"
"can I ask why the previous babysitter left?"
"well she didn't left, Tyler fired her." He said shrugging his shoulder.
"Tyler? you mean Mr. Anderson?" he nodded. "but why?"
He chuckled "one thing you need to know clearly about Tyler, no one knows why he does things. He never explains." Alec said patting my shoulder. Great the man was a Hitler!
"don't worry Hailey. I have a feeling, you will be here for a long time." He said laughing.
What? Long time! "I won't lie Hailey, Tyler is more difficult to be handled than Beth, but he is a good man. Don't judge him soon ok?" Alec said seriously, all his before playfulness was gone. Why was he so sure that I would judge Mr. Anderson? Who was he? What was he? I am now getting really curious to meet this man now.
"you are scaring me Alec." I said amusingly.
"he won't be home half the time, if that makes you feel better." He said winking at me. I blushed, he is charming for sure.
"look about Beth, she is a bit shy at first b-" his sentence was cut off when a cute but loud voice shouted "ALEC!!!" I looked down to see back of the small girl with really long dark blond hair, who was hugging the legs of Alec. She didn't look like a shy girl to me!
"Hi princess!" Alec bended down to her level and hugged her. "where were you since so many days? You don't miss me?" she said in her really cute voice. Truth to be told I have never been around a 6 year old before. My hands were really cold, it happens when I get really nervous.
"I missed you so much princess, but I was really busy, I am sowwyy." Alec said cutely. I couldn't help but smile, he was really good with kids, and maybe I should take some training from him. "it's ok." She said giggling.
"Beth, meet Hailey, she will be there with you and help you with whatever you need." Alec said standing up. Beth turned around and before I could notice how she looked, she went to hide behind Alec. Only thing I was able to see was her big green eyes! it was really big and innocent eyes.
