...Sitted behind the CEO's desk was Zhang Wei as poised as ever. He was always admired for his elegance and Aristocratic look even when he stood at the docks in Jinzhou but now it was certainly at another level. Sitting behind a grand mahogany desk he exuded the aura of Power, yes, he didn't talk much but that man behind the desk was the CEO of Réncái Gāodù for crying out loud. Just as she started to suspect she was being stalked, he waved his hand as a sign of dismissal to Lu Chia who promptly left, shutting the door after him. Zhang Wei ran his eyes over her and gestured for her to sit down but it took some time for it to register because from Cao Xiu's POV, things were really moving to fast for her liking. Seeing her apparently ignoring him, Zhang Wei suddenly growled "Sit", Shocked by his tone, Cao Xiu hurriedly sat down. She just stared at the table unable to look up at Zhang Wei but she felt that man's eyes on her. They were like icy needles but were clearly taking in her every reaction.

Cao Xiu's earnest wish right now was that Zhang Wei would leave her to succeed in her career and go back to the docks of Jingzhou and his posh villa there but if wishes could be so easily fulfilled Zhang Wei would not have known her but suddenly she sat upright but using all her willpower not to smile... She had changed her name and her look, it would be impossible to identify her she had already had her debut before her "wedding" with this identity, laid low after she ran away so really she was just over thinking.

With this obstacle passed, her manner changed from nervous to business-like. She looked up and settled into the chair, Zhang Wei got a shock because with her attitude, she seemed to be the CEO not him and what he saw, was a challenge and HE never backed down from a challenge.

"Miss Cao...", the tone of his voice froze her in place no matter how she lied to herself she was not prepared for this. "Miss Cao", Seeing her freeze Zhang Wei rolled his eyes, Understanding women was one area that he just didn't master but after calling her name again, she finally seemed to respond "Miss Cao, Réncái Gāodù believes in supporting new talent, you have been given an opportunity that many other people would do inappropriate things for. We hope that you won't waste this opportunity ","Thank you sir, I won't ". Zhang Wei made a dismissive gesture and said "You may leave ", Hearing the authority and processing everything Cao Xiu nearly had a fit she had gone out of her way, through traffic, all the way across town only to be told not to waste the opportunity like really what are phones for.

As she approached the door, she had to control herself from giving him a piece of her mind afterall, life isn't a novel. Just thinking about it made her release ice cold daggers and Zhang Wei realised that and just acted like nothing happened besides that wasn't his problem. As Cao Xiu got to the main entrance, her phone buzzed, she decided to get to her car first before checking but what she saw made her say "Stuck-up merchants and their attitude", because the text read "Réncái Gāodù hopes to work with you in the future". and she just could help but exclaim "So now, he knows how to use a phone", and Zhang Wei, who was looking out his window onto the parking lot could help but smirk at her furious expression. Did she really think he didn't recognize her? Anyway the trap was set, it was a matter of time before she fell and he promised to make her pay for what she did. All of this went through his mind at he sipped his wine leisurely. He was an international celebrity, with women falling at his feet but this one was the only woman who got his attention. He knew he wanted more than revenge but he was just too afraid to analyze what else he felt...
