After blowing up Xen Zu's head, Mu Lan's eyes began to close. Half an hour had passed since the bomb explosion, and although it would have been possible to recover with today's technology, Mu Lan knew he didn't have much time. The shrapnel from the explosion had pierced his body, and although his body was slightly better than that of normal people due to the game he played, it was clear that he could not last much longer. Not long after, Mu Lan died at the scene.
Mu Lan had left a lasting impact on the news and the public. His act of revenge against Xen Zu had become the talk of the town and had caused widespread outrage and celebration among the people. Even though he had lost his life in the process, Mu Lan had left his mark on the agenda and would be remembered for years to come.

After blowing up Xen Zu, Mu Lan died from the injuries sustained in the explosion. However, when he opened his eyes, he found himself in a familiar place, as if waking up from a deep sleep. The room looked very similar to the one he used to live in before. But how was this possible? He vividly remembered the explosive death he had just experienced at the hands of Xen Zu. It seemed impossible that he could be alive and in his old home. Could this be a dream, or was there something more mysterious at play?
Mu Lan hurriedly got out of bed and walked towards the mirror, confused and disoriented. As he looked at his reflection, he noticed that something was off - he appeared to have shrunk, and now looked like a 15-year-old boy. His body weight was only around 40 kilos, and his once black hair was now accompanied by a pair of eerie red eyes, giving him a strange and unsettling appearance.
Mu Lan was overwhelmed with surprise and quickly made his way to his computer in the room. Upon checking the date, he discovered that it was Sunday, January 28th, 2115 - a date from the past. He was filled with joy as he realized that he had been given a second chance and wouldn't repeat the same mistakes he had made before. There were only 2 days left until the big day, the release of the game God Defiant, which was exactly 20 years ago. It was a priceless gift that he had been given.
Since this was his second chance, Mu Lan had sworn to avenge the people who had hurt his family and friends in the past. However, he realized that he was currently incredibly weak and needed to become stronger. He was determined not to repeat his past mistakes in this life. With the knowledge of the future in his hands, Mu Lan felt like he could do anything.
"Before long, Mu Lan picked up his phone and began frantically searching for his buddy. He held onto the hope that his friend might still be alive."

When Mu Lan's buddy answered the phone, Mu Lan heard him ask, "Hey, what's up buddy?"
Mu Lan's eyes filled with tears of relief as he heard his buddy's voice on the other end of the line.
"Buddy are you there?"
Mu Lan wiped away her tears and replied, "Yes, buddy, I'm here. By the way, have you heard the news? The game God Defiant is going to be released in 2 days. I was wondering if you got the latest gear for it."
"I got it, buddy. Lucky for us, I took the remaining gadgets. Hey, have you decided which class to choose? They announced the classes in the game."
"I got it, buddy. Lucky for us, I managed to snag the remaining gadgets. Hey, have you decided which class to choose? The game's classes were just announced."
"Buddy, I'm going to be a warrior. You know, like how a man becomes a warrior."
"Trust me, buddy. If you do as I say, we will be invincible. Our names will be known far and wide. What do you say? Come on, choose your paladin."
"You are my 12-year-old buddy. Who else can I trust if not you? 'Paladin' means to choose that class. You know, the one with the shield and mace?"
"Hey buddy, don't forget to open your paladin and I'll open up an archer so we can dominate the game together. Where are you now? Make sure to bring the devices and let's set up our accounts. The servers will be opening this evening, so we can log in and create our accounts, but unfortunately, we won't be able to connect to the game just yet. Let's make sure we create our accounts so we're ready to start playing as soon as possible."
"I'm on my way to meet you now. Is there anything else you need me to bring on my way?"
"Just a moment, I'm currently checking something."
While I was browsing the internet on my computer, I came across some great books. One was a bodybuilding guide priced at 30,000 Credits, and the other was titled "Old Martial Arts and 10,000 Kicks at Once." I immediately shared this discovery with my buddy when I saw these two books.

"OK. So, what's your plan with these books? I didn't know you were interested in martial arts."
"You said I'm male and I must know martial arts. Maybe it will come in handy one day. When I learn and apply these techniques, I can teach you, or we can learn together. We'll get stronger together."
"Okay buddy. I'm closing now. I'll grab the books you mentioned in front of the bookstore and I'll be with you shortly."
Mu Lan could persuade her buddy either, who had a particular interest in martial arts. However, the idea of improving together excited him.

Ding dong.
Mu Lan heard a knock on her door, and she knew it was her buddy. She hadn't seen him in years, so she quickly made her way to the door to open it.
When Mu Lan opened the door, it was indeed her buddy standing in front of her, who was now 15 years old. Mu Lan's eyes welled up with tears again.
"Hey, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" her buddy asked with concern.
"I'm not crying. The dust outside got into my eyes when I opened the door."
"I see," replied the buddy.
Mu Lan and Beng Zeng entered the house. Mu Lan was relieved to find out that her buddy was alive and well. His family was currently on a business trip abroad, leaving the big house empty. Meanwhile, Mu Lan had purchased a house with her high school best friend and was currently living there. It was a small and cozy house, but it was their own.
Mu Lan had indeed traveled back in time.
