2 Whats a Class?

I arrived in a large white room. I found that I was in my own body and could feel my surroundings like I would in the normal world so I instantly thought that something had gone wrong with the login but four things made me think I was wrong. I had two more legs and two more arms than I had two minutes ago. I was however spread out on the floor and although I knew I had arms and legs in this world I couldn't feel them it was more like the fantom limbs I experienced after my incident.

"alert alert player in distress in the entry hall. Assessing condition... assessment complete. solution found sending g.o.d avatar divine"

A flash of golden light later the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen appeared she had long shiny golden hair that actually looked like long thin threads of pure gold. her skin was an almost inhumanly white but her eyes, her eyes were the brightest blue I have ever seen. I heard the most beautiful voice I have ever heard come from her mouth.

" well what do I we have here, you avatars functional. your integration is running fine so it must be a mental block. I take it you have a disability IRL"

"I don't have any arms or legs and I am paralyzed from the neck down. what does IRL mean"

"Well young man I see two problems one your speaking in the wrong tense, two your a total noob. So first up you were crippled but you're not crippled here but your brain doesn't seem to realize that yet. second, you need a full intro to video games, don't you? so you're aware it means in real life"

After this brief exchange, I found out about one of the games IRL uses. Apparently, people in physiotherapy have been advised to come into the game to help the mental aspect of there recovery. As I have no chance of recovery in the real world I stuck to the mental training. Within a few weeks Divine, as I found out my blue-eyed angel was called, had me not just walking but back to being fighting fit. If I am honest I feel better than when I was in the real world as old combat injuries no longer plagued me. It was only then that Divine told me that time flows differently in different areas in the game. The game speeds up the process in areas where no contact is required with the outside world. So my two weeks of training took a total of four hours.

Only now Divine moves me onto the next issue on her agenda. To be honest, at this point I am more than happy just to be able to move around but I decided to hear her out.

"now we come to the second problem your class, classes are given to players based on there personal skills and personality, if these change or improve we offer class change quests. you, however, are a problem your combat and intellectual skills are top notch but your gaming skills are nonexistent so I cannot transfer you to a harder combat area but my fairness policy has issues with starting you with the new players most of which are combat novices. The only thing we can offer you is a unique class it will provide you with a harder experience as you won't be able to use standard equipment and you will need to figure out how to use your characters abilities alone. However, if you master these abilities you won't have a power cap like other players you can continue to improve. This isn't something offered often you will only be the tenth person offered a unique class since the game began two years ago. Do you still wish to play or would you rather raise a complaint?"

"I can move, at this point, I will go with whatever you come up with. Wait did you say my fairness policy. You take your job very seriously you make it sound like you are part of the game rather than a member of staff"

Do you seriously expect a people to be able to run a game like this, what a noob. Anyway, as your a unique class you need to know some extra details. Most charters can unlock skills through skill books or teachers. These skills become automated commands that players can activate with a thought or set of movements. You will need to invent new skills and master them to a basic degree when you have done so they will automatically become skills for your class. Your equipment must also be self-made or a quest reward you cannot buy equipment for your class in shops as all equipment has at least some class restrictions unless it is custom made for you. Your free trial with last a full 30 days terms and conditions apply blah blah you get the point.

Now the best way for you to learn is by doing so off you go Chi Apprentice Samil.
