1 Prologue

In the island of Samar, in its deepest forest, there exist a portal to an enchanted Kingdom. Local people called it Biringan City; a city filled with magical creatures, limitless wealth, and everything humans desires.

A long time ago, it was said that humans and Enkantos lives in harmony. It was said that the world between humans and magical creatures were one.

But the humans, filled with greed and violence, abused the Enkantos. Humans would ransack Enkanto villages that left the Enkantos no choice but asked mercy from the bright morning star Tala, the goddess of the two gates. Having to witness the great turmoil from magical creatures, Tala separated the two worlds and closing the gates for eternity.

Tala, in her loving kindness left both worlds a balete tree in the middle of the forest in Samar and the forest of Maca that if you wish to look for it with a pure heart, might appear under a bright star.

After centuries both the Enkantos and the Humans forgot its existence. People then began to think of Enkantos as a phantom, an urban story told by the elderly, or a horror story told as a fire camp story, but still Tala hopes that one day, both worlds will meet up again.
