11 [Show of Force]

//Sorry about drawing out this whole shtick, I was just really tired at the end of the last chapter and didn't want to make you guys wait. I also kind of wanted the Ordell vs Guiche battle to mark the end of volume 1. Yes, the volume is fucking short but it's only supposed to incorporate Ordell's very beginning.

Another thing is that this harem will not be agreed to by Louise immediately, character development and all that jazz.

I can try faster updates but I do have shit to do in my life you know.//

================================================================

"Well then, shall we play?"

Ordell performed a mock bow, putting one of his hands onto his chest while stretching the other one slightly to the side and bending forwards just enough to still keep eye contact with the visibly frustrated aristocrat.

Guiche was not taking the provocation lightly, the slap mark on his cheek had already faded by now but his dignity has not recovered so well. One thing about nobles that definitely does not help them in the slightest is their arrogance, it leaves far too much room for exploitation when in good hands. They are far too proud. And therefore, their egos are far too fragile.

Guiche was a great demonstration of this philosophy as it took very little to anger him and therefore get him to play into Ordell's hands, make rookie mistakes and so on. It was laughably easy, and Ordell firmly believed that if he flaunted this in Guiche's face the blonde wouldn't even be able to do anything about it.

What a poor fella.

"Right, let's not waste everyone's time, shall we?"

Ordell snorted lightly as Guiche waved his wand—which was a literal rose—through the air. One of the petals of the bright red flower fell off and, surprisingly, sank into the ground. Not a moment later bright light came from within the petal as a white hole appeared on the ground in its place. From within the bright light came an inhuman figure of brass and metal, wielding a spear and having feminine curves.

"That's what I've been trying to say for the last minute-"

-WOOSH-

"-whoa there!"

Ordell's body swished to the side at high speed in order to avoid a direct hit from the sharp end of the summoned golem's metallic spear. He did so with his arms in his pockets and with the ever-present smile that slightly twitched as he watched the golem retract its arm. Then, the blade of the spear rocketed towards him again.

Unfortunately for Guiche and his brass golem, the result was all but the same. Ordell was simply far too quick and agile for any of the golem's hits to connect, especially so with its predictable fighting pattern and repetitive movements.

"Don't just try to stab him! Fight!"

Guiche's vague commands surely didn't help his minion to fight, but they did at least make it change its pattern if only a little bit. Now, it tried to swat Ordell's body away using its spear as not just a sharp weapon, but also a Bo-staff. Not bad but not good either. A commoner would be dead by now...

While the golem tried and failed to hit Ordell on numerous occasions, the familiar's mind was not even in the fight. His red eyes shone lightly, almost unnoticeably as he gazed at his opponent with a calculative gaze.

'Beginning enemy battle prowess examination...'

He dodged again, this time ducking beneath a horizontal swing of the silver-coloured spear. Now though, Ordell fought back.

-CLANG-

He thrust his elbow into the golem's hard chest with a resounding clang of metal. The golem was subsequently pushed back a few metres with a very visible and heavily crack indent on its chest. Hell, one of its fake brass breasts broke off!

'Enemy fighting prowess analyzed.'

'Assessment; slow speed, no technique, low-grade material composition, low striking power.'

'Overall appraisal; pathetic.'

Ordell sighed as the brass golem cracked and creaked, still wielding its large spear strongly in its gloved hand. The performance of Guiche's golem was anything but extraordinary. It was very basic, the soldier barely strayed from the most fundamental types of attacks and didn't change its strategy at all. Well, not quite sure what Ordell was expecting from an overconfident student and his crap golem made of BRASS of all things.

"Brass is not a good material for armour or weapons."

Words flowed out of Ordell's mouth as he got into a strange fighting stance for the first time since their bout began. His fists were clenched tightly in front of him, one raised above the other in front of his chest while his legs were slightly bent and spread to the sides.

"It's soft, malleable, I recommend switching to iron or steel."

Guiche had not appreciated Ordell's advice, and instead had blinded commanded his golem to once again do something it has been failing to do until now, "My Brass Valkyrie won't be bullied by some familiar! Especially not you, Familiar of Louise the Zero!"

The slight eye twitch in Ordell's right eye went mostly unnoticed again, he quelled his anger by sighing. It would seem violence will be the only way to give his master some well-deserved respect. After all, his might reflects her's, and therefore if Ordell is strong, so must be his master.

The Valkyrie charged for with a valiant effort, even with its broken and crumbling body it still rushed forth for the well-prepared horned familiar. The Valkyrie brandished her spear, but her speed and technique were subpar at best, and just as the tip of the spear made it within just a few centimetres from Ordell, he rushed forth like a lightning bolt...

-SLAM-

-CLANG-

The attack was followed by the clap of thunderous boom and a loud metallic clang as both of Ordell's fists basically divided Valkyrie's body into hundreds of pieces. He smashed his bare hands against the Valkyrie's torso, obliterating it in the process and sending its shards across the green grass. The Valkyrie's arms, head and legs however remained relatively intact, until they too broke from the excessive force.

Some of the surrounding students covered their ears a moment later as their eardrums painfully protested against the unpleasant sound of brass creaking and the sound barrier being breached. Some of the Valkyrie's parts managed to reach even Guiche, not that he was far away at all, but the feat was still impressive.

The blonde protected himself from the debris by using his black cloak, although his mental and social standing was quickly deteriorating. His Valkyrie, his mighty brass Valkyrie was reduced to fucking rubble without so much as inflicting a wound onto his opponent. And the fact that Guiche had subconsciously refused to accept even more was that the person he was facing in question was simply superior to his looks. That he didn't like. For Guiche, his appearance was his everything. And the attitude of a familiar, much less the one of Louise The Zero, Ordell, would not be tolerated by him.

But how?

Even if Ordell is a member of some super strong race, his physical power shouldn't be so great it shatters metal. Yet, the proof is right here, lying on the ground, broken and smashed.

"G-GRAGH! Damn it!" Guiche was not ready to admit defeat, not by a long shot.

He waved his wand through the air, sending dozen or so flower petals through the air. A mere moments later, 18 valkyries surrounded Ordell from all sides, creating a second ring of "people" around the male. Some of the Valkyries wielded swords, some daggers, others spears, their weaponry was as varied as it was basic and boring.

"Bringing out the big guns now?" Ordell didn't appear to be bothered at all at his massive numeric disadvantage, an act that never ceased to stop annoying Guiche.

"SHUT UP!" Guiche angrily pointed his index finger at Ordell, but the familiar only rose an eyebrow. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK TO ME THIS WAY! I AM A NOBLE, AN ARISTOCRAT! A FAMILIAR SHOULD OBEY HIS MASTER, KEEP HIS HEAD LOW AND NOT GET IN THE WAY!"

"Geez okay dude, you have issues..."

Idly commented Ordell as his smile fell slightly and became a little awkward at Guiche's outburst, the blonde playboy even started hyperventilating. Sighing, Ordell didn't want to prolong this fight unnecessarily. What he wanted was to get a message across. A message this master, his beloved Louise, is not a Zero.

Ordell's eyes flashed crimson, this time the glow was quite noticeable as few of the students pointed out. His red horns gained an ominous black gleam towards their base. His smile became much smaller than normal, now being more of a slight smirk than anything. The red horned male reached into the inside of his coat...

'Hyperdimensional Connection confirmed.'

'Accessing item assembly...'

'Item assembly accessed.'

'Beginning raw material transfiguration: oxygen -> steel, iron, lead, holy silver, titanium nitride...'

'Assembly successful.'

A faint glow of silver came from within the male's white coat, yet no one was able to see what it was that Ordell was doing yet. However, that would soon come to be a statement of the past as a bright gleam came from within Ordell's coat as he began pulling a long, silver item out...

"You brought out your big guns...

"...Now...

"...It's my turn."

What Ordell had whipped out was something... strange, extraordinary and terrifying at the same time. It looked to be a cannon, but it was much, much smaller. Its length was just below the length of Ordell's forearm. The texture was pristine and appeared to be made out of some manner of grey metal. The firearm had a long, disproportionate barrel with strange letters embroidered into the material in beautiful cursive along the sides.

The words read...

...Hellsing ARMS .454 Casull Auto...

"Say hello to my little friend."

-BANG-

Guiche or any of the students didn't have time to be shocked as their awe turned to surprise and terror the moment the strange contraption in Ordell's hand fired. It was very similar to a flintlock pistol, except, the bang it produced was much louder and more... powerful.

The barrel of the pistol seemed to be split into two parts, one that moved back upon the bullet being fired and one that did not. This was done to decrease recoil, not that Ordell needed it much. Not a second later, the head of one of the 18, now 17, Valkyries exploded. The metal didn't stand a chance against the supersonic projectile fired by the weapon that went by the name of "Casull."

Guiche could only watch in horror as Ordell carefully took aim at his Valkyries, shooting in a manner that wouldn't send sharp shrapnel at the surrounding students. Arms, legs, bodies and heads rolled and shattered as Ordell spun around, shooting his gun at an impeccable speed, exceeding even the number of rounds the gun could actually store in its magazine.

-BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG-

All the while he nearly missed that the runes on his hand, his left hand, were glowing in bright white colour, 'How peculiar...'

Soon, all was silent as the last of Guiche's mighty Valkyries fell, leaving behind a heap of dead and broken metal. Now, the fight was truly over. But, Ordell's point hasn't gotten across just yet. Drastic measures would have to be taken for him to truly get these people to understand and take his words seriously.

"You brought this upon yourself."

"W-Wait!"

But Guiche was not given much time to protest as Ordell suddenly ran up to him before smacking him square in the forehead with the back of his powerful weapon. The blonde fell to the ground with a yelp, clutching his bruised forehead before he suddenly coughed in pain.

Ordell had forced Guiche to lie on his back by keeping his foot firmly planted onto the guy's chest, all the while he aimed his high-calibre hand cannon at the utterly terrified playboy. Ordell actually bent down slightly so that the tip of Casull's barrel was almost pressing against Guiche's bruised forehead.

"Well, you're not as much as you make yourself to be~"

Guiche couldn't give a verbal response, he was far too afraid to risk getting his head blown up by a lunatic with a battleship cannon for a pistol.

"Now then, here's a life lesson for you, buddy pal chum pal~" Ordell had once again begun using that weird slang and tapped Guiche's cheek with the tip of his pistol, "Don't go two-timing, unless it's a threesome and everyone agrees with it~!"

...Everyone mentally and some even physically face-planted into the ground at Ordell's loud and proud declaration. Louise blushed furiously in the crowd, Siesta did the same while Kirche only laughed at their flustered faces.

"Got it?" Guiche nodded frantically, valuing his life above his ego.

Smart man, Ordell stepped down from the man's ribcage a moment later as he looked around at the shocked and stunned faces of the first and second-year students. To their surprise and horror, he aimed the gun at them, moving it from one person to another.

"Alright it seems we need to get a few things straight, so ya'll listen up or your brains will end up being a plant fertilizer!"

Everyone grew silent and weary in shock, even Louise could not utter a single word. The fear of her family being put on trial for her familiar aiming a literal Death Maker 3000 at so many nobles at once didn't even occur to her. She was far too shocked. Far too intrigued for that to happen.

"The name's Ordell, my master is that short and sweet pink gal over there in the crowd! Now you see here's the deal, I don't give a rat's ass if your bloodline has gold for a piss or something like that. You insult Louise, you insult me. You insult me, I shoot one of your testicles off!"

Every male in the crowd, including Guiche, visibly flinched at the image.

"Oh yeah, and if you're a woman I'll rip your boobs off!"

Not even women were safe from the wrath of a very powerful and very... "battle enthusiastic" familiar. A terrifying grin appeared on Ordell's face, further helping to drive the point home. In the students' eyes, Ordell was now the personification of a devil. Two rows of sharp, canine-like teeth on a full display coupled with a pair of red horns and crimson eyes just screamed "evil" to them. Granted, very handsome evil but evil nonetheless.

"Glad we have an agreement!"

Everyone let out a sigh of relief they didn't realise they were holding in when Ordell placed his gun back into his coat, and it disappeared in that same obstructed flash of light. Now that the fight was over and Guiche's ego was rightfully annihilated, it was time for Ordell to return to his master's side.

He did so with no little amount of swagger, smugly smiling all the way as students literally moved away from him until only Louise, Kirche and Siesta remained in his close proximity. Louise appeared shocked, awed even. Her mouth was slightly agape and she had this bewildered look on her face.

...

...

...

"Hehe, did you enjoy the show? My master~"
