15 Chapter Thirteen

Kibito Kai was confused.

The day the Old Kai had arrived had been a difficult day on his previous incarnations hearts. So much had happened that had shocked him.

What truly took the cake was Rei's new found power.

He had always known the child would grow in power, perhaps even rival him one day. But the power he released was...beyond anything he had thought possible for a mortal.

A few days had passed since then and he hadn't seen Rei. He assumed he'd gone off training again so he went into his room to confirm.

Upon entering, he saw Rei sitting cross legged in the middle of the room with his eyes closed. He seemed to be meditating. When he saw this, he quietly left, closing the door behind him.

Another week went by and Rei showed no signs of waking. Weeks became months while months became years. Every so often Kibito Kai would check up on Rei, who showed no signs of waking.

5 years passed quietly like this. Until finally...

I slowly opened my eyes.

'Hmm? Is it over? RoBro how long has it been?'

He was startled by my voice. Though my power level was over 10 billion, I kept it suppressed to 0.

'Oh! Rei! You're finally awake! What happened to you?'

'I was adapting to the great change in my power after Old Kai unlocked it.'

'I see...It's great that you're awake now. Want something to eat?'

'Sure.'

I had a large feast before I said my goodbyes and returned to planet Vampa. It was time to achieve the Legendary Super Saiyan state. I was going to give in to my anger until I broke through. The only problem was...

'RoBro. I know you're only trying to help when you reign in my anger but I need it to become a Legendary Super Saiyan. Could you perhaps not interfere until after I transform?'
