12 Chapter Ten

I used Instant Transmission to get to Capsule Corp to find Dr. Briefs playing with a young Bulma.

'Oh! Nice to see you Rei. I take it you're here for the room?'

'That's right. is it ready?'

'Of course.'

Dr. Briefs handed him a capsule.

'The construct is in there. I've equipped it with other rooms for rest and relaxation. Be careful and don't hurt yourself.'

'Thanks, doctor. I really appreciate you doing this for free.'

'I relish a challenge. I've gotten bored these last couple of years. If you have any more interesting constructs you want built you know where to find me.'

'I will. Take care!'

With that, I vanished from the courtyard. I reappeared on Planet Vampa. It was lacking Intelligent life forms and was suited to my training.

I threw down the capsule and a large one-floor building appeared. Entering it, I approached the gravity machine. I immediately set it to 50x Earths gravity and felt the pressure on my shift. I began doing the body training exercises taught to me by Mr. Popo.

Pretty soon I adapted to the gravity and decided to increase it to 100. Many days passed like this. Nothing but training whilst steadily increasing the gravity. Days became months. All I did was train and eat my stockpile of food. I could now handle 300x gravity.

'This is hard work. RoBro. Bring up the status please.'

I shrunk down the room and flew into the air in search of powerful beasts. I had to make the best of a Saiyan's greatest attribute.

'Oh! They'll do nicely!'

A group of 4-armed gorilla-like beasts had hunted another beast and were gorging themselves on their spoils.

'Hey! Can I have a bite?'

The Pack turned to face him and assumed defensive positions. They would protect their hunt.

'C'mon don't be so stingy. If you won't share I guess I'll just take it!'

I shot a ki-blast at the weakest looking beast. The others immediately roared in anger and rushed forward to attack me.

'That's more like it! Let's do this!'

Chaos.

The scene of Rei fighting multiple giant beasts was frightful, to say the least. Flashes of light and explosions from collisions was all that could be seen or heard. Wrangled bodies and severed limbs lay scattered on the ground.

Rei himself was in horrible condition.

The tide of beasts continued to increase. Their numbers slowly began to swell as they rushed over to help their comrades. Many had no idea why they were fighting.

'That's it! Keep on coming!'

I laughed loudly as I saw reinforcements continue to arrive. My clothes were in tatters and my energy was almost depleted. I could use a senzu but I still had a few moves I wanted to try.

'Kaio Ken x2!'

With a yell, my energy exploded out as my power level doubled. I continued my onslaught and pushed myself beyond what my body could handle. The beasts were being massacred in large numbers but there seemed no end to them in sight.

'Kaio Ken x3, x4...!'

The battle frenzy continued for hours as my body screamed in agony.

'You guys just keep coming. Kaio Ken x10! Death Bomb!'

My attack decimated the surroundings and the bodies of the beasts both living and dead. I fell helplessly from the sky in a pitiful heap.

My body wouldn't move.

With pure willpower, I managed to reach a senzu bean. Biting down, I felt its power revitalize me. I opened my eyes and stood with gusto.

'Now that's what I call a training session! After such an intense work out, I deserve a good meal.'

I collected what remained of a few beasts and had a nice meal of roasted meat.

'The Kaio Ken really does a lot of damage to my body. It's useful if I want a zenkai boost though. In a serious fight, I'll stick to my Wrath State. RoBro. You know what to do.'
