18 Chapter Sixteen

Kibito Kai and I arrived in the world where Gowasu lived.

It was only after introductions were made, that I realized Zamasu was not here. I heard Gowasu complain about wanting to retire. It seemed as though he had yet to take Zamasu as his disciple and begin his training.

I left the two Kai to their conversation and vanished under the guise of exploring. I appeared on a planet in the north galaxy.

It took me a few days before I found who I was looking for. I waited a few days more, until I felt Kibito Kai return to the 7th universe.

I appeared suddenly in front of Zamasu and before he could react, my arm reached out and broke his neck.

'Get the absorption started RoBro.'

Before long Zamasu's corpse had become a part of me. I could feel the great change it had brought about.

'Kai Kai.'

Instantaneously, I was back on Vampa.

[God ki detected. Immediate synergy recommended.]

Oh? What a stroke of good fortune. No time to waste I guess.

'Go ahead.'

I once again entered my meditative state and before I knew it, I was waking up once more.

'How long RoBro?'

[Answer: 2 Years]

'That's not too bad.'

I could feel a qualitative change in my body. My ferocious ki had become silent, undetectable to mortals. My total power had also tripled. God ki was truly amazing.

I was caught off guard when I saw my reflection in a mirror. My black hair had become white.

'Did you dye my hair while I was asleep RoBro?'

No response.

'Pranks aren't cool y'know.'

I turned my focus to Earth. I suppressed a cry of joy as I saw Gohan beating the crap out of Cell. He was so awesome. The fight progressed and before long, Cell had returned from blowing himself up, only to be defeated by Gohan's Kamehameha.

Hmm...well, now was a good time as any to make an introduction.

I disappeared from Vampa and appeared on the battlefield. Vegeta and the others turned to me in shock.

'Who the hell are you?!'

'Where did you come from?'

They all shouted questions at me in surprise.

'Hello everyone. My name is Rei. I'm a big fan.'

Vegeta narrowed his eyes in disbelief.

'A fan you say? Why should I believe you?'

'Doesn't matter anyway. I'm here for Gohan.'

'Showing your true colors eh? You really think I'll let you do what you want?! Think again!'

'Hmm...so you wanna fight? that's fine I guess. But you're all beaten up and out of energy. Have a senzu.'

I threw over a senzu bean to Vegeta. He caught the bean with some confusion. Where had this stranger gotten senzu beans from?

'Go on. Have one. Attack freely, then turn Gohan over to me.'

I could just grab him and go but I wanted to leave an impression.

Putting his doubts aside, Vegeta ate the bean and attacked me with his full power.

'You will learn to fear a Super Saiyan!'

The fight was…embarrasing.

The difference between our power levels was simply too immense. Vegeta's attacks landed harmlessly on me.

I let the poor guy tire himself out before I gave him a light pat on the back. He crashed heavily into the ground and reverted into his base form, completely unconscious.

'Huh. Well I'll be going now. It was nice seeing you all.'

The others were frozen as Gohan and I vanished with a flash of blue.
