8 Chapter Six

I flew up to the lookout and met with Mr. Popo and Kami.

'Rei. Popo here will take over your training in martial arts. He is an extremely skilled master, perhaps the best you can ask for.'

'I don't doubt it. I would be honored to train under you Master Popo.'

With that, Mr. Popo led me to the hyperbolic time chamber and we both entered. Kami watched the door close and left. A day later he returned and watched as both Mr. Popo and Rei returned.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

When they had entered, Rei had the appearance of a 14-year-old. Now he looked like a fully grown adult.

'What happened Popo? Weren't you in there for a year? Was there a malfunction?'

'There's nothing wrong with the room Kami. My race achieves adulthood quite quickly. Technically I was born about week ago.'

I had grown rapidly during my time in the chamber. I had grown to be about 230cm tall.

My time with Mr. Popo was extremely fruitful.

I had made great improvements in my hand to hand combat abilities and learned ki sense. I also wore weighted training gear. Mr. Popo was truly underestimated, he was an incredibly skilled martial artist.

We also had long conversations where he praised Kami and even once told me about the dragon balls to emphasize how great the Namekian was.

'That's shocking to hear, to say the least. Now that you have completed your training here what will you do?'

'Mr. Popo told me of the Dragon Balls during our time in the room. It's hard to believe such a thing exists so I'd like to see them for myself. You're quite amazing Kami.'

'You flatter me. I wish you luck in finding them.'

'Thank you for all you have done for me. Take care.'

With that, I lept off of the lookout and made my way towards the home of grandpa Gohan and my fellow Saiyan.

'Hey, RoBro? Could you show me my status?'

With Ki-sense I managed to find the home of Grandpa Gohan and made my way over. He was very hospitable. Explaining that I wished to borrow his dragon ball, he lent it to me after I promised its safe return.

Goku slept peacefully whilst Grandpa Gohan gave me the 4-star dragon ball. He must have already hit his head. With the dragon ball secured, I made my way to capsule corp and met Dr. Briefs. He was very interested in the task I requested of him and within a day, he had a dragon radar ready for me.

With it, I tracked down the rest and landed in a wasteland to summon Shenron. The sky darkened and before I knew it the wish-granting dragon appeared.

'WHAT IS YOUR WISH?'

'I wish to go to planet Yardrat.'

The dragon's red eyes flashed and I disappeared.
