19 Chapter Seventeen

I returned to Planet Vampa with an unconscious Gohan under my arm. I wasn't too worried about the repercussions of my actions.

Kami was already gone and there was nothing Goku could do from the otherworld. King Kai would most likely tell him of our relationship with one another but that was all.

I put Gohan down and gave him a senzu bean. He healed up and awoke with some confusion.

'What...? Where am I? Who are you?!'

He lept back after he caught sight of me.

'Hello, Gohan. It's nice to finally meet you.'

'What are you talking about? Explain yourself right now!'

He took up a battle stance.

'Hmm...how should I explain? I guess…I took you? Yeah, that's it. I took you from Earth.'

'What? Why?! Take me back!'

'I can't do that I'm afraid. You're my favorite after all. I won't let you waste away on Earth. Don't worry, I'll make you really powerful.'

'I don't understand what you're saying! Just take me back home!'

'Not happening.'

'Then you leave me no choice!'

He gave a yell and his power skyrocketed. He had become a Super Saiyan 2.

'Amazing! This is why I won't let you leave. You should just accept it.'

He moved incredibly quickly and attacked my face. I caught his fist with ease.

'I guess I should show you the difference between us first?'

I released his fist and he continued his bombardment of attacks. His instincts were really good and he reacted well to the few playful punches I threw at him.

He fell on his hands and knees helpless and exhausted.

'Do you get it now Gohan? You won't be leaving this place. Can you feel how weak you are? Fear not, I'll make you really strong, okay?'

His eyes were full of anger but he kept his silence. I threw down my training room capsule and turned to him.

'You'll be training in here for starters. I'm going to get some food. We'll begin your training after we've eaten. Rest up.'

I vanished and returned a few minutes later with the corpses of 5 huge beasts.

'Time to eat!'

I roasted the beasts and Gohan reluctantly sat down and ate. After the meal, I lead him into the room.

'You're going to start with gravity training. I'll be steadily increasing the gravity over time. Oh, and no Super Saiyan 2 okay?'

So began Gohan's days in the gravity chamber. I had him hold his ssj form at all times so as to master it.

A year quickly passed us by and he could now handle 500x gravity.

It had been quite a difficult year.

For some reason, every few weeks, Gohan would throw a fit of fury and attack me. The past 2 months had been peaceful though.

'Well done Gohan! You've completed the first phase of your training! Now for second phase. Use your full power and attack me.'

He looked at me in surprise. This entire year I made sure he didn't turn into a Super Saiyan 2. Whenever I felt he was about to, I would knock him out instantly.

'Fine.'

His energy rose rapidly. The difference in his power after the training was staggering. His power continued to rise until he had become a Super Saiyan 2.

He rushed forward and attacked me. This would be the next stage in his training. We would spar daily. After I defeated him I recreated Piccolo's gi with additional weights and gave it to him.

We trained non-stop.

Gohan had begun to show change under this new schedule. All we did was fight.

All day. Everyday.

His Saiyan instincts must've kicked in, because I could see how he was starting to relish our fights. His attitude towards me also saw some change. He began to address me with less hatred until one day, he respectfully addressed me as teacher.

It was a happy day.

After 2 years of this, Gohan underwent a huge change. The kid became a Super Saiyan 3. He couldn't keep the form up long though. I instructed him to keep his ssj2 form up constantly. Before long, his control over the ssj3 form greatly increased.

Another 2 years passed us by.

Gohan could now hold his ssj3 form up for hours without tiring. The kid had really grown up. He was a lot taller and he had changed from his training.

I had taught him the Kaio Ken during our time together, along with several other useful techniques. I saved instant transmission for last but the kid showed no intention of trying to run away. Besides, I put a seal around the planet using my own energy anyway. No one could sense our energies while it was locked and no outside energies could be felt.

'I guess I should take him over to the Old Kai and have his potential unlocked. What a hassle. I really don't want to have to explain who Gohan is and ask the old man for a favor.'

[Potential Unlock ceremony recorded. Perform? Y/N]

I was taken by surprise. Seems like RoBro could perform the ceremony for me.

'Gohan!'

At my yell, a huge mass of energy could be felt approaching insanely fast. A moment later, he appeared before me.

'Yes, teacher?'

'You've reached the end of your basic training. I will now unlock your potential.'

'Unlock my potential? Like the Grand Elder on Namek?'

'Kind of, but better.'

Avoiding the explanation, I put my hand on his head and had RoBro begin the process. It was over instantly.

'Alright, finished.'

'Already? I don't feel any different though?'

'Try becoming a Super Saiyan.'

He gave a shrug and began raising his power level. It rose past the stage where his hair would have become gold and it kept rising.

His energy continued to rise far beyond what it was when he was a ssj3. Before long the air settled and Gohan looked at his hands in awe.

'This..this is more than I expected.'

'Your teacher is really strong right?'

He thanked me and took the time to grow accustomed to his newfound power.

'Well now that's done, it's time for you to become a god, Gohan.'

'A god?'

'A Super Saiyan God.'
