9 Chapter Seven

Planet Yardrat was...bizarre to say the least.

I landed in the middle of a city and took in my surroundings. The architecture was strange and the people kept disappearing. All around me people appeared and disappeared. There were no vehicles in sight.

An elderly man was seated on a bench feeding some species of bird.

'Excuse me, sir, I'm sorry to bother you but I have a question.'

'Ask away. Don't be shy.'

'Could you perhaps teach me instant transmission?'

'Oh? It's really not that difficult...'

It really wasn't.

After the old man launched into his explanation, the essence of the technique was to use your ki-sense to latch onto the energy of another and simply pull yourself there.

After a few attempts, I was appearing at the sides of total strangers.

Parting ways with the old man I focused and tried to sense distant energies. My absurd energy manipulation let me scour further than I'd thought possible.

It took a while, but I managed to find the Sacred World of the Kai. I instantly teleported to the Supreme Kai's side, who looked pleasantly surprised.

'It's nice to see you again Rei. You've gotten stronger.'

'Thank you, Supreme Kai. I wish to ask a favor of you.'

'What is it?'

'I'd like to train with the North Kai. If you would perhaps help arrange that?'

'Not a problem. Its been awhile. I'll take you personally.'

With that Shin and I were on King Kai's small world within moments. He was shocked to see Shin and immediately agreed to train me.

No joke necessary.

Catching Bubbles and Gregory took a lot of effort on my part. Took a week before he began teaching me the Kaio Ken. This technique was the real reason I was here. A month later I had mastered it.

King Kai was pleased and spoke of how I might be the one to master the spirit bomb.

I failed, unfortunately.

It seems my heart just wasn't pure enough.

With that done, I locked onto Kibito's energy and appeared beside him using instant transmission.

'You're back Rei. You've gotten even stronger than the last time I saw you.'

It was true.

The weights and high gravity had vastly improved my power. I had RoBro bring up my status sheet.

'I still have a ways to go. Please excuse me, I must rest before I head out once more.'

I made my way to my former abode. I sat and contemplated my next move. I removed the Kai outfit I had been wearing for so long and decided to materialized a new set of clothes.

After giving it some thought I settled on the outfit worn by Xeno Goku.

I made some alterations to suit me. The sash around my waist and legs was a dark green and I had no wristbands. Instead of red, I decided to make the robe black. I left enough room for my tail to curl comfortably around my waist.

With that done, I closed my eyes and focused my Ki-sense. I felt all the strong powers across the universe. I searched until I found who I was looking for.

I vanished from the small room and appeared on Planet Vampa.

I had appeared directly behind a young Broly.

Before he even had a chance to notice me, I raised my index finger and shot a red ki-blast into the boy's heart.

He turned to look at me with an expression of pain and disbelief before he died. I walked over to his lifeless corpse before lifting it with a single arm.

'What next RoBro?'
