13 Chapter Eleven

I looked at it in complete shock.

'...Hey RoBro? Are you sure that figure is correct?'

[Answer: Yes]

'Really?'

No response.

'Don't be so cold. A power level of 4 million! Perfect! I should have more than enough S-cells now. Its time to push to my Super Saiyan state! I'm getting excited!'

I repaired my clothes before sitting down in meditation. Using the technique Cabba used to help Caulifla achieve Super Saiyan, I focused on feeling tingling on my back.

Just as I was starting to feel like a fool, I felt an intense heat. I cried out in shock. It was as if my back had been set ablaze.

'What's going on?!'

The ferocious energy covered my body and gave rise to an anger within me. All I felt was unadulterated fury. This triggered my Wrath State as my eyes became gold. Gold energy shrouded me as my body grew and my hair spiked up. With a roar, my hair became gold and the creatures in the vicinity made hasty retreats.

Before my anger could completely control me, a calm came over my mind and I felt rationality return. I focused on holding that state whilst I sat. I closed my eyes and remembered my gentle river. My furious energy seemed to dim down but I kept my form. I entered a sort of meditative trance as my body grew accustomed to my newfound power. My mind seemed to drift off into the unknown.

Time lost meaning.

Days became weeks and weeks became months.

A whole year past before I finally opened my eyes and slowly surveyed my surroundings.

'How long have I been sitting here? Feel so stiff.'

[Answer: 12 Months 2 Week and 9 Hours]

'Has it really been that long? Why don't I feel hungry?'

No response.

I shook my head helplessly.

'Bring up the status.'

[Answer: Host acquired the Super Saiyan form whilst in Wrath State. Host's meditative state allowed for both forms to find a synergy. After staying in that form for an extended period of time Host has mastered it and its overall multiplier increased exponentially.]

'...I see. This has been the most you've spoken to me RoBro. I'm glad to see you coming out of your shell. But that meditative state...What is it? And how did I reign in my anger so quickly?'

No response.

'Really? You won't tell me?'

I shook my head at my luck. That meditative state was a rare opportunity for me to master the berserk form. My increased power level didn't come as much of a surprise considering the form. I released my transformation and suppressed my power level. I returned immediately to the Sacred World of the Kai.

'Hello, Kibito. Supreme Kai.'

They turned to him in surprise.

'Oh Rei! Its been awhile. How have you been?'

'Keeping up with my training. I've returned because I wish to attempt removing the Z Sword.'

They looked at each other before Shin answered him.

'Very well. I too would like to bear witness your effort. Let us go.'

Together we flew towards the Z Sword plateau. Once we arrived, I flew down and grasped the sword by its handle. With a short yell, I entered my Wrath Super Saiyan state and removed the sword from its prison with a swift pull.

Time seemed to freeze as the plateau slowly crumbled to rubble. Shin and Kibito stared in shock with their mouths agape as I lightly swung the sword around.

'Ki...Kibito...did he just...?

'...I can't believe my eyes but I think he...he freed the Z Sword!'

'The Z Sword is free! But that form...what happened to him?'

I looked up at their dumbstruck expressions.

'Supreme Kai.'

'Ye...yes?!'

'I would like to test the blade. Could you perhaps materialize some hard substances and throw them my way?'

Shin quickly recomposed himself.

'O...of course! I too am curious to see its awesome power!'

He manifested a giant sphere of earth and threw it my way. I split it with ease.

'Something harder please Supreme Kai.'

'As expected! How about this then.'

A block of Katchin appeared.

'Try this. Katchin is one of the hardest materials in the universe.'

He threw it towards me and I prepared my swing. The sword collided with the metal with a screech shortly before it fractured and broke in half.

Kibito and Shin felt as if their eyes would pop from its sockets,

'Oh...Oh no! Please tell me its not true Kibito!'

'It's true! It snapped in two!'

I looked down at what remained of the blade.

'Huh. I thought this sword was supposed to be powerful.'

'How..? The legend states the one who frees the sword will wield the strongest power in the universe!'

Both Shin and Kai had been shocked more today than in the past thousand years. I released my transformation and cast broken sword aside.

'Well, that's disappointing. I thought that the sword would make me a little stronger.'

'Maybe I could give you a hand.'
