Chapter 1

I walked into the sitting room to meet my aunty and a guest..

She was talking to a strange guy who I guess is at his early 20's

Aunt Matilda and the man were so engrossed in their discussion though I didn't know what they were talking about, but they didn't notice my presence

I greeted them casually and walked past them

..At the living room..

"How much will she cost" , the guy asked

"Just give me one thousand dollars" , aunt Matilda said..

"Hope she's okay and fine" , the guy asked.

'yes she is , she went for a test and the doctors said so'

'Good'.. he said

You know why I'm paying you for this right?.. he asked aunt matida

I'm paying you for making the task easier for me..he continued

Aunty just nodded in agreement

"I will pay five thousand dollars" ,the guy said..

' what?????' , five thousand dollars ' , aunty screamed in joy..

' yes, I already transferred the money to your account' , he said

' yes, I just received the alert ' , aunty said ..

Getting to my room,it was looking extraordinarily tidy like someone had done a lot of work on it

I looked towards my wardrobe and noticed that the door was open and it was empty

I looked around to see my bag packed neatly.

I was alarmed!

What happened here?

Stacy, I called walking into my cousins room furiously. What the hell happened in my room..I asked

She looked up at me and said scornfully

I helped my dear cousin pack her bags for her departure. What wrong did I do?

Her lips curved in a wicked smile

You must be out of your mind..I said and stormed out of her room

I bumped into aunty in my room. There was a bodyguard that came into my room and he was carrying my bags away

Where are you taking them to?.. I attacked the man but he just brushed my aside

Aunty! I raised my voice, a little frustrated

What's going on?

She didn't say a word. She went back to the sitting room.

I followed her there to know what was happening

' You are leaving my house' , aunt said..

Your house? I blurted out. I scoffed. Last time I checked this was my father's house

Well its mine now.. she said

You can take her away now.make sure to be a good girl there and don't try to prove any stubbornness there, she said looking at me..

Take me to where? I'm not going anywhere..I said and folded my hands

The man looked at his bodyguard and he started coming for me. I tried to run but he already got me

He twisted my hand to my back and slapped me hard,twice across the face. He lifted me of the ground and carried me on his shoulder

Stacy laughed heartily.

She's finally out of our neck..she said

I've been waiting for this day. I can finally get rid of you.and I did with a reward..aunt said

I didn't know what was going on but one thing was clear; aunt was selling me to a total stranger!

' she won't be needing those clothes , let's go ' , My new owner said..

The guard dropped me on the ground and opened the door

' get in the car' , he said ..

I hesitated for a while but the guard pushed me and forced me into it and the car started driving out of our house...
