Chapter ONE :,Love at first sight

"Michael." Heiress Angela called Michael and trembled, devoid of what else to say.

It was her first time to toast a guy or make advances. And she did not envisage it coming.

"Michael. I love you!" she vomited the words. The shyness and fear in her stripped the words of any romanticism and to Michael who had been standing like an accused, he stiffened the more, hearing the words.

A minute passed, two minutes, and the Heiress did not hear anything, she jumped out of her seat and ran in and threw herself on the bed, slapping the bed." O'God! Why why why!"

The next day, she saw him, he was mowing the grass. She hung at the window looking at him, her future husband.

How does a man with this height, and this athletic physique be so timid?

She called him with a mouth whistle and mocked herself: Heiress, you have to throw personality aside and grab him, even if to pin him down today because without him no wedding, you know? " Yes." She agreed with herself.

Five years ago, she saw a glimpse of him in front of a gardener's shed. What could be termed love at first sight has dominated her mind ever since, even now as the CEO of Harrison Manuel Business Empire, Africa Headquarters and she cannot honor herself with the one-in-town wedding without him. No. Never.

As the scripture says 'This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased', Michael is her beloved husband without him there is no marriage, the fantastic wedding.

She has had a picture of her wedding with him, but she never envisaged she would see him in the form she saw him, in her castle, as her gardener.

But since this is him, no Jupiter as they do say, will stop them being husband and wife.

She studied him, coming glumly, like the most timid person he is.

Love, or toasting other guys would die for, is what he is afraid of.

Her heartbeat lost its regulation as she heard his silent footsteps.

Would she call Magdalene to come fast and assist her? No no no.

She shook her head and ran and hid by the widow and shifted the curtain as if it was a crime, peeping at him.

He was pensive, staring into the empty roof-garden

Funny enough, she saw him staring at the half-filled glass of her red wine she abandoned on the table with her weaver's chair padded with a floral pillow.

He was ready to vamoose at any hush.

Oh!Lord! She was shy in her hiding place.

Thank God, her Dad's Copter hummed, coming.

She ran out. " Hey! Michael go. My Dad is coming. "

The twin-engine lowered and landed on the helipad.

With her long legs, she strode like a gazelle going to the helipad as two bodyguards came down from the Copter before a man in his late fifties. The man was holding his hat in his hand revealing receding grizzled hair, a walking stick in his right hand, and a leather bag hanging down from his shoulder.

That was Harrison Manuel, her father, the Chairman of Harrison Manuel Business Empire Wide World.

She surrendered her cheeks one after the other to him to peck and she hung down the leather bag from his shoulder, going down into the castle before him and the bodyguards.

She opened his study and sat in his seat, a swivel chair, to read the documents she brought out from the bag.

She was to be at the meeting for diversification by Harrison Manuel Business Empire into Nickel mining in Namibia but she was sick. Not sick that is curable.

Since Mr. Igni, the old gardener was relieved of gardening on account of age and by a twist of fate the replacement was the guy she saw five years ago, she can only be cured if she has him.

She needs him, her husband, she needs to kiss him and start a preamble of what would happen on their bachelor's night.

Her mother's sister rang.

"Oh! Aunty has come!"

She ran down. She had told him she had seen whom to marry so she came to see.

They two hugged, waved themselves, and fell into the Divan.

Harrison came out into the sitting place they were.

"Oh! Super in-law, " Agnes spread her arms, advancing to him. Reaching him, she wrapped her arms around Harrison Manuel's big body.

Stepping two steps back, she ran her eyes all over him. "Ever looking young, my in-law."

Manuel was in a body hug polo and shorts and was muscular, a shape rarely seen with men of his age.

" Heiress, when are you going to bring your husband to him?" asked Agnes, with a cornering eye at Heiress.

"Dad knows my choice of man."

"Yes," agreed Harrison Manuel before he went to the bar.

" What kind of choice? " Agnes whispered and corked her eyes at her with an elastic smile widening and widening.

They were back in the Divan, and she was keen to hear Heiress answer her.

Her little niece has no experience in relationships. She was very interested to hear her choice of guy.

Herself, Agnes, does not give a damn about man any longer.

"As I am an only child, he must live here!" Heiress Angela said.

"Is it possible?" she asked casting a probing look at Heiress.

"Aunty, what do mean?" Heiress Angela stared at her.

"I didn't mean bad. What I was saying is...In some climes, it is not accepted. It is the man that goes to marry a wife and takes her to his home."

"That is not my kind,"

" Has the guy agreed you marry him? Hope it's not Jojo?"

Heiress Angela felt bitter. She turned.

"Nene," Agnes called her by her native name. " I didn't say you should not marry him if she agrees. Two of you are mature. "

She tried to touch her breast, giving her a don't-be-offended grin, and she flinched and went to her room in her apartment.

She rolled along the bed." Lord. I can't sleep"

She returned to her aunt.

"I wonder how you went so early to sleep while your Aunty is here," said Agnes.

"Aunty," she called her. "Anything wrong with love at first sight?"

"Love at first sight? ...first or second sights are the same," said Agnes. She had married thrice and divorced thrice. She did not want to be a hindrance to her sister's daughter. And Heiress Angela is somebody who suspects even a good friend, sorry to say so.

If she wants yes, tell her, yes, and if no, tell her no.

"I won't tell her not to go ahead now until I see her Dad."

"Aunty you are not telling me," said Heiress Angela.

Back to her room.

"I won't tell her about him now."

She invited her to show her her husband but she has now canceled that.

She went to the wardrobe to combine what she would wear to Mary and Claude's bachelor's Even

Mary was Jojo's twin sister. Jojo was the guy her parents arranged to marry her.

Despite t, hat she did not tell them she had someone in mind, Her Dad knowing the choice of marriage she wanted, told Jojo's parents they should let them grow together, whatever that meant.
