Chapter 29 Trading?

It's been days since Hu'er's birthday happened. Their stock was nearly emptied so her Daddies went deep forest to hunt with some beastmen who also are lacking food. Even her older brothers joined them.

Shun Su, Jiu Lin, and Xin Hua are with her right now. Her other Daddies who didn't go hunting are all busy. They are either farming, mining, checking the health of females and beastmen, crafting, and weaving. They still look for her from time to time. Even Jiu Lin, who is babysitting her, is making a dress right now in her room. Her clothes are getting smaller. She needs to change it now. Shun Su is crafting small toys and giving them to Hu'er to play with. And Xin Hua is on her lap being groomed well by Hu'er.

Shun Su is keeping her interested. He keeps on telling stories that happened after her birthday, what others are talking about and what goods they have, even the news of Shen Si, he is updated. It is because Shun Su has a lot of friends. Whatever he wanted to know they would tell him, which made it easier for him to gather information.

She found out that not only the females but the beastmen appreciate the dried food basket they gave away. They thought that her Daddies are spoiling Hu'er so much to even put all their stocks for that birthday. Some are fine with it and even thought that it is what it should be. While the rest are saying her Daddies aren't smart, and now they need to hunt because of it. Her Daddies for sure have heard about it already. But as far as she knows them, they wouldn't care about others' opinions. They would just want to give her everything and make it perfect. Even Shun Su, who is so young, expressed that he would do the same. I don't need to care about others when I have capable Daddies.

The Sheep tribe also came again the day after her birthday to give the meat that they have. They don't eat meat so they never hunt but some wild animals would occasionally attack the tribe so they have it. Hu'er didn't see them but because of their meat, they could eat well while her Daddies were hunting. Their stocks are actually still fine even without meat. They have dried food and a chump of meat.

Shun Su also told her about Lingling's birthday, Shen Si's daughter. Sheep beastmen also came to her birthday and brought a lot of gifts. They also formally introduce the three young beastmen who will, in the future, mate with Lingling. When Shen Si and Lingling went home in the middle of the party the Sheep Beastmen stayed there awkwardly.

Before Lingling's birthday even finished, a scandal happened. Shen Si went out and made her mates stay far away from her as she was too angry to even feel their presence. This always happens so they didn't think too much and focused on entertaining the attendees and just guarding Lingling. They didn't really have the time or numbers to follow her. Plus, their place is safe. There are patrols who walk from their place from time to time.

A sheep beastman wanted to pee and went away. He didn't come back, so the other Sheep beastmen got worried and asked for help. Seven of Shen Si's mates and some beastmen helped them. His mate found her but was too stunned to even react. So when the other beastmen saw him they went toward his way and saw the scene.

They then found out that Shen Si got an early heat and the sheep beastman 'helped' her. Unknown if this is true but the Sheep beastman immediately agreed to become her mate. Both didn't even care about what others thought when they saw them mating. Shen Si is too affectionate toward the sheep beastman and he also looks at Shen Si tenderly. Hu'er thought that they definitely planned it. After all, the sheep beastman and Shen Si are too close after that one night. It's too much of a coincidence that the sheep beastman will go there to pee.

Hu'er didn't know what happened after that or what Shen Si's mates thought about what happened. Jiu Lin made Shun Su stop sharing those things. Jiu Lin also regrets that he went down to get food and squished juice for a second only to find out that Shun Su is talking about such a thing when he comes back.

He shooed Shun Su and made him go back to her mom to ask what bad thing he had done. Jiu Lin knows that Shun Su's mom is kind and strict. She always wants everything organized. She made her mates train them how to hunt when they are still cubs and only let them choose what they liked when they transformed. Shun Su chose to craft and carve, she let him be. Letting her teach Shun Su is more appropriate.

Xin Hua looks at Shun Su, who is walking out reluctantly. He also looks at him to ask for help. Xin Hua looks at Hu'er who is clearly amused with how Shun Su looks. He then looked helplessly at Shun Su. He wanted to help him or suffer with Shun Su but then…

Xin Hua decided not to suffer with Shun Su. Anyway, he can just come back later. He still wants to spend his time with Hu'er. Jiu Lin also lets him be. He could talk or transform anyway. Hu'er also likes grooming his fur. Hu'er just stayed quiet sitting on her fur blankets while grooming Xin Hua. Jiu Lin is stitching another dress. Xin Hua on the other hand is already sleeping on her lap. They are quiet yet have no awkwardness, they only feel peaceful.

Hu'er snapped out of her daze when Xin Hua's ears twitched. He then gets up and goes near Jiu Lin. He suddenly looks behave and obedient. Jiu Lin then looks up and glances at the door before continuing what he is doing.

The only reason that Hu'er could think of why Xin Hua will go away is when her Daddies are here. She excitedly looks at the door and waits. The sound of footsteps is getting nearer. Hu'er eyes beamed.

"Dada!" She stood up and ran to his arms.

Jiu Hu chuckles, "Did my Hu'er miss Dada?"

"Yes!" She rubs her head to his chest and then sniffs at him secretly. Although his hair is dry, he must have taken a bath. No smell of blood.

"Have you sniffed enough?" Jiu Hu grinned at her. She puffed her cheeks.
