Explaining the [bracketed] section

At the start of every chapter, the reader will encounter a [bracketed] section. For example, Chapter three: A Wild Tower Clad Boy appeared, starts off with the following:

[AURORA WRIGHT. Town of Friendship, Southern Vales, Avalon Sanctuary. Red Day, 13th Week of Winter, Year 5008 of the Avalon Calendar.]

This [bracketed] section sets the viewpoint, start location and start date of the story. So the above can be broken down as follows:

1) AURORA WRIGHT: Name of the viewpoint character. I write in third person viewpoint, which is the viewpoint used in many modern Western novels. For example Harry Potter and Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones).

2) Town of Friendship, Southern Vales, Avalon Sanctuary: The starting location. It lists the City (or local region). Then the country (or geographic region). Ending with the world (or dimension).

3) Red Day, 13th Week of Winter, Year 5008 of the Avalon Calendar: The starting date. It lists the day, the date and the year (as well as the Dating system being used).
