1. that he  may prosper in every way and be in good health physically just as he is spiritually.

- What made John very happy when he heard news about his friend Gaius?

- What had Gaius done that John commends him for being faithful?

1. The commandment is, "

do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God."

- What did John have to say about Diotrephes? What advice did John give regarding Diotrephes attitude?

2. a. Deotriphes loves to have first place among them, does not receive us. This is why, if I come, I will remind him of the works he is doing, slandering us with malicious words. And he is not satisfied with that; b.  He not only refuses to welcome the brothers himself, but he even stops those who want to do so and expels them from the church.

- Can you say what is happening in their time [caring for travelling teachers] is also happening in our time? Why or why not?

3. they set out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from pagans. 8 Therefore, we ought to support such men so that we can be coworkers with[f] the truth.

What lesson did you learn today?

4. the verse that made impact for me today is Verse 4, " I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
