17 Diverging and Converging In LA Last Part

VAL'S POV

"Jinks" said Shaneon. "Seriously" Jocie said rolling her eyes while directing her attention back to Adreanna. "So Tae...is?"

"Yeah Adreanna, do tell?" said Mindi plopping her elbow on the table, placing her chin on her palm.

Half listening to Adreanna talk about her encounter with J and Tae. I fully zoned out when she began discussing her bonding moments with Tae.

Sigh...

I was really hoping that Seo would be joining us to the aquarium but he stayed at Playland Arcade. He really was my type too.

*Still in thought while walking to meet up with Jordyn and Meghan.

I glanced at the others. I don't think they even remember him....I remembered him instantly once I saw him.

"Hey. Whats wrong?"

I jerked my attention to the voice which belonged to Mindi.

"Uh well..." I said.

She gave me her full attention.

"Well...I feel like fate is kind of screwing with me".

"Come again" Mindi said

"Okay. I'm guessing you don't recall much from the club?"

"I recall" she said "just some I don't want too...."

"Well near the end you remember those guys that were dancing..."

She gave me the you must be joking face, when asking her to remember some guys dancing in a club.

"Okay, okay the guys with magic mike, like dance moves". This seemed to register with her.

"Well the main guy. That was Seo..."

"Seriously". She said

I turned my head while we kept walking. "I'm a little embarrassed to be discussing this".

*Thinking to myself... I mean it's not often I meet someone I'm attracted to. Cupid's probably left scratching his head with his arrow, dumbfounded with trying to fix me up with someone.

"So you liked him but you didn't say anything to him?"She responded.

I jerked my head back towards Mindi due to her direct understanding of the situation and her questioning my reluctance.

"Yeah and no, what gave it away?" I asked.

She was about to respond when Adreanna and Shaneon shouted out Meghan and Jordyn's name.

Truthfully, I'm glad she didn't answer. It would have made me look like a dunce, cause a lot of us took psychology classes in University. Plus she's gotten good at taking cues from people since starting work as a Mental Health Therapist...

"Jordyn, You missed out big time...on perfect guys" said Adreanna who gave me a nug in the side, bring me back into the conversation.

"How so" asked Jordyn.

Catching Adreanna's drift.

"Oh... I spent some time with your brother from another mother" I said smirking. "I must admit he's cute just like you" I said pinching her check.

"Ugg Vallie. Stoop it" said Jordyn.

"I agree" said Mindi "I had first hand comparisons this morning between you two, while you were intoxicated. Definitely some adorable moments".

Meghan, Adreanna and Jocie and gone back up to the hotel room. While the rest of us were waiting in the hotel lobby.

Sitting in a lounge chair, looking around the lobby at the others. Shaneon was sitting on the armrest of the couch. "Ugg.... I need coffee" said Shaneon leaning her head against Mindi's side.

"Me too" said Mindi patting Shaneon's head. "Hopefully will be able to leave soon".

Watching as Mindi had stopped playing with Shaneon's hair. Shaneon gave a grunting reminder. Serving as encouragment for the other to mindlessly resume with the stroking. Giving one last fleatingly look at an absent minded Mindi running her fingers through Shaneon's hair. Then at Shaneon whom was fighting the lul of sleep due to the relaxing affect brought on by the stroking motion.

Looking across from them, sitting on her luggage with a sly grin was Jordyn. The apparent smile just emphasized her pleasure. That she wasn't Shaneon's armrest, I thought.

*Ding....Looking towards the elevators.

I could see Jocie making a beeline for us.

Then closely behind her was Meghan and Adreanna. Only on closer inspection, one could see Adreanna was being comforted by Meghan. Whom had just looked up given us a thumps up.

"Alright, crisis averted. Lets get this comedy show on the road" said Jocie.

Sighing and standing up I concluded the plane ticket had been found.

"I really don't see any comedians" said Shaneon perturbed due to her drowsiness and having not already been in route to the airport.

"Who needs comedians. When I'm surround by you jokesters" retorted Jocie.

I smiled at her unique way to vent her worry, frustration and relief.

Standing in line at the boarding gate.

Meghan retorted, "Now Shaneon this time you get the single seat. If your going to stay awake and draw...." "We don't need another accidental bath" interrupted Jordyn.

Mindi nodded her head as Jocie swung her arm around her shoulders.

I'm half listening to their future plans once landing in Korea and watching each step up to the gate staff with their boarding passes.

Next. I hand my boarding pass to the gate attendant. Then take a glance to my right side where the window is to see California lit up. "Alright, Cupid the adventure is just starting..."
