10 Ok.... how do we do this?

Carolinia and I had tried everything we could think of fix a fairy wing. Everything we tried so far was either too heavy or would have made it worse.

"Ok. So... we've tried tape, a bandaid, glue, ....what else?"

"I don't even remember anymore. It was a lot. "

Carolinia said, exasperated. "What happened to Celeste, Fairy M.D?"

"They didn't teach us this in the fairy medical program, ok? I'm doing the best I can." I stated flatly. "Besides, I don't have any of the proper tools anyway."

Rain was watching our conversation and eating a piece of a cookie. She seemed very calm about all this. That is until I mentioned the stapler.

"H-hey. Know what else you haven't tried yet? Sewing it back together." Rain suggested nervously.

"True. But what would we use for thread?"

"And think of the size of that needle."

"For the thread, you would need spider silk. And the smallest needle you can find." Rain said.

So I went downstairs to borrow a needle from my mom. Meanwhile Carolinia and Rain went to get some 'thread'. We met back upstairs in my room and got ready to operate.

"Let us know if it hurts, ok?"

"I will. Trust me, I will."

So I threaded the needle (which was very difficult) and began carefully stitching the wing together again. I tried to stitch evenly and I think it turned out pretty good.

"There." I said proudly. "All better."

"Thanks." Rain was happily checking it over in a hand mirror.

About that time, mom called us for dinner.
