Prologue P1: A Lone Figure

Heavenly Mountain, the Divine Sect.

Cloud Nebulas and Galaxy Disks drifted around the immeasurable Heavenly Mountain, one of the landmarks of the Divine Sect. The celestial bodies circling around the huge mountain was an unfathomable and beautiful sight that made countless people sigh in wonder and awe. The elliptical orbit of the surrounding objects created an impression of multicolored rings layered upon each other, lighting up the area in a myriad of colors. Truly, the Heavenly Mountain and its various rings, filled with countless treasures and precious materials, was a wondrous location for any cultivator. However, although being so well renowned for its beauty and resources, the Heavenly Mountain was not a place people often visited; rather permission to enter was heavily. No one knows exactly why, but rumors have said that there was a mysterious expert that even the Divine Sect's head, who had jurisdiction over three heavens, had to give face to. Naturally, no one dared to offend the Divine restricted Sect's head, much less a person who even he had to respect. If they dared to, not even a strand of hair would remain.

At the Heavenly Mountain's peak stood a lone figure, staring at the surrounding void, as if searching for something- something beyond. Beyond the starry skies. Beyond the Six Heavens. Maybe even past the Three Cosmos.

Something that one could not find even after traversing the endless void.

A heavy crackling sound could be heard as a whirlpool of immense energy appeared, creating vibrations in the air and forming cracks in the surrounding fabric of space. A large hole the size of a ten-foot door appeared, along with a figure stepping out from it. Looking closely, it was a tall man with an aging gray beard and long silver hair tied by a gold braid. The man wore a black cloak and underneath was a white robe that seemed to surround him in a mysterious veil of energy. The crack in space began to dissipate, creating a sound that would remind one as if they were opening a soda. Except the fizzy sound was thousands of times louder and would instantly pierce through a mortal's eardrums, killing them without a slight chance of survival. The space fabric began to repair itself, visible to the naked eye as the surrounding air was seemingly sucked into it. Soon it was as if nothing had been there in the first place.

"Miss, you're here again... Thinking about him?" inquired the man politely, heading towards the unknown personage.

The figure stayed silent.

"Miss, the sect head is worried about you. After all, you haven't cultivated your heavenly essence for forty millenniums."

The mysterious figure turned, revealing her previously hidden physique. Even if one's eyesight was impaired, one could simply tell from the outline of her body that she was a woman of immense beauty, truly a one of a kind. With one look any man would be forever bewitched by her allure. A beauty that could topple empires, whether it be in the mortal world or the heavens.

The man couldn't help but gulp as he saw her voluptuous body. His lower body began to react, but after all who could blame him? The woman he was staring at truly deserved the title of one of the number one beauties in the heavens. Likewise, she stared at the man, forming a tense atmosphere.

"Ah-Miss... the sect head is getting impatient... he says it's better for- for you to just"

The atmosphere seemed to chill. You could hear a pin drop in the utter silence. Time seemed to stop.

"-forget about him."

Time resumed as the woman's fist came slamming down onto the ground near her feet. The earth around her instantly collapsed. The roaring of the earth was like a heavenly tribulation, signaling the end. The man quickly levitated off the ground, wearing an angst expression on his face. The woman stood still as a crater instantly formed around the patch of land she was on. If one looked closely, one would have noticed that the Heavenly Mountain had its peak cut off completely, the matter disintegrating into particles so small it was as if it had never existed. The patch of land the woman was on, now merely a small dot, was the only hint of the peak ever existing in the first place.

The man scowled as he stared at the destruction that ensued, a hint of fear in his eyes. The Heavenly Mountain had consisted of Firmament Earth, a divine-class material. To destroy so much with merely a single punch... even without cultivating it seemed that her monstrous powers had not weakened.

"Miss Diana, you can't be like this! After all, your, your father has been bothered by the Life Monarch and he can't put off the marriage any longer. I'm afraid that you'll have to marry him, whether –whether you like it or not!" The man harrumphed with a scornful expression. His face quickly paled as he noticed Diana staring daggers into him, as if he would be her next victim.

"I-I'll be returning to the sect head then! And you had better be there soon! Hmph," he threatened, his voice faltering. Indeed, he did not want to end up like the mountain. After all, there was no telling what a woman would do with a broken heart and an agenda for revenge.

Shaking his head, he turned around, a new crack in space quickly forming. Heading into it, he muttered about how stupid women were sometimes, how he would explain this to the sect head, why he couldn't convince her again, and this and that...

The woman, as if not hearing his remarks, continued to stare off into space, not bothering at all about his departure.

"Forget..." she whispered, ever so slowly and softly, and it was as if time had stopped again.

Memories surfaced in her mind and clouded her vision, like rain clouds blotting out the sun.
