34 Uncertainty

The boys entered a strict regime of training. Hitman Bang believed that there was another level of power that they could reach before debuting. They would work in the Craft workshop in the morning, Seokjin appearing part way through as he still had other classes. They would then go to Battle Mage practice from midday till late. After the boys would go back to the dorm, besides Yoongi who had his part time jobs and Seokjin who stayed with his parents in Anima.

Hitman Bang taught them different aspects of being an Eidos and ways to not only progress as Adept's, but as a team. A unit. A family. Hitman Bang understood the importance of being strong as a team. By being able to work, move and fight as one, you can empower each other, lift each other to heights that you wouldn't be able to reach on your own.

As the leader, Namjoon did his best to out work this philosophy. He continued to find how he could push and raise his members to new heights. He found that each of the members had many strengths and qualities that, if cultivated and nurtured properly, would bring about great growth not only for the team and the individual as an Adept, but also for the person, their character and inner being. Namjoon wanted to be the type of leader that could lead his team to greatness, as warriors and as people. And the team responded well to this.

Jungkook found that he wanted to be what Namjoon and the others saw within him. His potential was something he wanted to step into and own fully. Taehyung was still shy around the team as a whole, but he found himself trusting the team more and more, wanting to grow alongside them all. Yoongi continued to sharpen his skills as an Adept and a Power Designer. He was constantly trying to figure how he could support the team as well as grow himself, pushing and experimenting constantly. Seokjin was slowly learning, gaining experience and proving his worth. The more he learnt, the more his power became more and more obvious to the others. He became a solid piece of the puzzle, making the others wonder just how far they could be pushed.

And then there was Hyosang and Hoseok. They both began to have doubts and thoughts about the team. Hyosang began to wonder if this was right for him. Although he was close with the team and gelled well with everyone, he always felt that his abilities weren't well suited for the teams. He began to wonder this more and more as they trained. Although he wasn't weaker than anyone else, his abilities as an Adept limited him in terms of combining his powers with the others. His wolf powers had a low synergy level with the others powers.

He began to place more of an importance on his own development and strengthening himself than the direction of the team. Although he didn't prevent the groups growth or anything, and he still had a close relationship with the members, he began to concentrate on bettering his own qualities as an Adept as he felt that Big Hit focused more on the others.

He was currently taking classes and studying elsewhere while also studying at Big Hit Academy. This was quite common for some trainees, many of the others did this as well as being an Adept sometimes wasn't a safe career path, so many took extra study to prepare, in case they didn't make it as an Adept. Hyosang decided to put more focus on this for now while training with the team.

Hoseok was unsure how he could progress as a member of the team. Although he was the strongest member in terms of Battle Mage fighting, he was still unsure whether he could properly pull his own weight in the team.

Taehyung had approached Hoseok at one point for a serious discussion. Taehyung was learning and working towards being a Magic-Channeller in the team. Taehyung asked Hoseok if they could change their positions. Taehyung began to develop dreams of being a Spirit Callers and wished to push in this direction instead of being a Magic-Channeller. Hoseok agreed and changed his training from being a Spirit Caller to being a Magic-Channeller.

He had more experience with Magic-Channelling than Taehyung as he had lived with Magic-Channellers longer and was often taught bits and pieces by his friends and hyungs. So he pursued the path of Magic-Channeller. However, he quickly realized the large gaping and difference between himself and the others. Namjoon, Yoongi and Hyosang were all Underground Magic-Channeller's and were extremely powerful and proficient. Although Hoseok had learnt Magic-Channelling over time and could use it, he wasn't at the level of those around him.

This discouraged him greatly. He began to have thoughts about leaving the team. Leaving the Academy. Maybe it would be better for the team as a whole if he was to leave.

One night, Hoseok was awake at the dorm, sitting at the table and thinking these things through. Everyone else had gone to sleep and Hoseok was by himself.

"Hyung, are you OK?"

Hoseok turned to see Jungkook walk over and sit at the table with him. Hoseok smiled.

"I'm OK. What're you doing up?"

Jungkook looked at Hoseok.

"You have been acting strange lately, hyung. What's wrong?"

Hoseok continued to smile for a moment before sighing.

"I think it might be time for me to leave."

Jungkook went wide eyed.

"What? Why hyung? You can't!"

Hoseok shook his head.

"I think that I don't have enough to offer the team. I think that you would all grow more and go further without me. And over heard a few things from the staff. I think I might be made to leave anyway haha."

Hoseok tried to laugh it off but there were tears building in his eyes. Jungkook's eyes also began to stream tears as he hurt for his hyung. He didn't want his hyung to go. Hoseok saw Jungkook gkook crying and came over to him, Jungkook instinctively hugged his hyung. Hoseok comforted his dongsaeng as he tried to calm down himself.

By the door, unbeknownst to the two boys, stood Namjoon who had a serious face on as he listened to the two boys talk. He clenched his fist and went back to bed. The next day, he went straight to Hitman Bang's office. He knocked on the door before coming in. Hitman Bang saw him and smiled in greeting.

"Namjoonie, what brings you here today?"

Namjoon breathed in before looking at Hitman Bang seriously.

"What is the situation with Hoseok?"

Hitman Bang looked curiously at Namjoon.

"Why do you ask?"

Namjoon looked at Hitman Bang.

"He heard some rumors and is beginning to doubt himself. I want to say this now, I believe that Hoseok is a crucial part to Bangtan and we need to ensure that he is a part of the group when we debut. I vouch for him completely. He will be a vital piece of the puzzle, I assure you."

Hitman Bang was surprised at Namjoons passion. This clearly meant a lot to him. Hitman Bang grinned, intrigued by Namjoon's viewpoint. This passion to fight for his team and defend his members, Hitman Bang was happy and proud to see Namjoon like this. He was truly fit to lead the team. Let's see what else he has to offer. Hitman Bang gestured to one of the chairs.

"Sit down. I want you to explain your view on the team, it's members and young Hoseok. Let's discuss Bangtan, Leader."
