37 Special Training

The group were all excited and happy to welcome Jimin to the team and they all began to passionately talk to him. Namjoon and Yoongi stood off to the side watching everyone crowd around a happy looking Jimin. Namjoon grinned.

"I think the team is reaching completion, wouldn't you say?"

Yoongi nodded simply.

"We are covering all bases of combat now. More evened out in contrast to before. If we can merge together everyone's strengths, I think we will have an Adept group that would be flexible, powerful and solid. We would just need to work on our teamwork and synergy as a unit."

Namjoon nodded.

"It won't be long until we can finally debut."

Yoongi turned to Namjoon and sighed. Yoongi felt that it had been so long that he had been training, debuting always seemed to be delayed and he was getting close to wanting to just leave. But when he saw the perseverance of Namjoon who had been here longer than him, he let go of those thoughts. Compared to Namjoon, he hadn't been training for that long, and Namjoon just quietly worked hard and endured it.

He had a lot of respect for him, even if he was the hyung. Yoongi nodded.

"Not long now."

Jungkook was talking happily with everyone, but he had a few thoughts about things. He felt like he wasn't on the same level as Hoseok and Jimin. They were extremely powerful, they both had their own Synergy Weapons as well, where he was still using a standard one like everyone else. He had been complimented about his fighting ability, but he had just witnessed a true Battle Mage fight, and he was unsure if he would be able to compete with them.

No, he was certain that he couldn't. As they went back to the workshop and gave Jimin the tour, Jungkook was still stuck in his thoughts. When it was time for Battle Mage training, Jimin and Hoseok both look extremely spirited and excited as they led the group to the training area. As they entered, Sung Deuk came over and shook hands excitedly with Jimin, having heard about him and the battle that had taken place earlier that day.

They went straight into mock battles, with Jimin and Hoseok sparring again. Sung Deuk's eyes lit up as he watched the two Battle Mages spar. The others watched excitedly as well. As he watched though, a strange look seemed to appear on Sung Deuk's face. He then turned to Jungkook and gave him a inquisitive look.

Jungkook sensed the eyes on him and turned to look at Sung Deuk. Sung Deuk stared at him for a while before his eyes lit up.

"That's what it is."

Sung Deuk stopped the two sparring.

"Hoseok, can you take everyone through some drills, I have something I want to discuss with Bang Pd-nim. I'll be right back."

With that, Sung Deuk rushed off, leaving the boys standing there in confusion. Sung Deuk reached Hitman Bang's office. After knocking and being told to enter, Sung Deuk came in and sat down in front of Hitman Bang.

"Sung Deuk. What brings you here?"

Sung Deuk paused for a second, collecting himself, before speaking.

"I want to send Jungkook away for special Battle Mage training."

Hitman Bang's eye widened.

"Is there a particular reason?"

Sung Deuk nodded.

"While training him previously, I noticed that although he picks up and executes the moves well, there is no purpose behind the moves. He doesn't own attacks, they are done the same way I do them and it results in a ultimately weak attack. He can't make the moves his own. But watching Hoseok and the new kid, Jimin, Battle today, I realized what was missing from Jungkook's fighting style. A Synergy Weapon. I believe that if we send him out of a time for some special training to help him develop a Synergy Weapon, the overall group's power will rise exponentially."

Hitman Bang grinned. He obviously understood what this would mean as he had already placed a high importance on Jungkook, so did Namjoon. Sung Deuk always index for Jungkook wo be one of the main Battle Mage's in the team, but he was always hesitant. This is why. And with a Synergy Weapon, his flow in a battle and power would be at another level. He didn't need to think long as he nodded.

"We will send him for a month long training trip. I think it would be good for him, not only as a battle Mage but also to help him get out of his shell. Not being able to rely on his hyungs and learning from people in a foreign environment may be good for him."

Sung Deuk and Hitman Bang grinned at each other at this conclusion. A week later, Jungkook stood with his bag outside of the dorm. He looked nervous yet excited. Jimin, Hoseok and Taehyung were standing outside with him. Hoseok sighed.

"Our maknae is truly lucky. Being able to go to the birth place of the Underground Battle Mage style is a true privilege."

Jimin nodded.

"I wish I could go to. But take care of yourself, you're going to need to be more confident so you don't get pushed around by others."

Taehyung chuckled.

"You're such a protective worrier Jiminie."

The others all chuckled. After Jimin joined the group and moved in, the four of them had grown closer. Jimin was a very friendly person and was extremely caring. Taehyung began to open up more as he hung out with Jimin. Jungkook changed the most when he was around Jimin as he was more forward and confident in front of him.

But now he had to go off on his own for a month and he was nervous about it. But he had been wanting to grow as a Battle Mage ever since he watched Jimin and Hoseok battle, so he resolutely steeled himself to try and grow stronger.

A large Flux Tool then pulled up. Jungkook looked over nervously. The other three looked at each other and grinned. Jimin came and put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Cheer up. You got this. Fighting."

"Fighting!"

Jungkook looked at his three hyungs that were all trying to cheer him up. He nodded and clenched his fist, making a gesture.

"Fighting."

He put his bag in before climbing in the Flux Tool. He waved as the Flux Tool drove off. Jungkook was feeling excited as he left. He was driven to a special Flux Tool transportation facility. This was his first time going overseas to another country so he was naturally a little nervous. The Flux Tool was massive and fit many people on it. They went fkying through the air, travelling many hours before finally arriving.

Jungkook was led to a famous Battle Mage training facility known as ML. He was excited as he went in. Everyone was speaking another language besides a teacher who had greeted him and was showing him around. He was overwhelmed slightly by the strength of the Battle Mages around him. He watched them train and was blown away by their skill and prowess.

The teacher that was guiding him walked into a training room. He told Jungkook that this would be where they would be training everyday. Jungkook nodded. The teacher then grinned.

"OK let's see what you got."

Jungkook was handed a basic Weapon and nodded. The sparred for a while before the teacher stopped them.

"I see. You aren't suited for that blade. The movements seem unnatural for you."

The teacher walked over to a wall of weapons.

"This what we are going to do. For the next month, you are going to test every Weapon on this wall and find the one that best suits you. Then you will head into the Craft Workshop downstairs and attempt to build your own Synergy Weapon."

Jungkook had a sudden realization. He agreed with the teacher. He had always felt that the blade was weird for him to use, he could never attack naturally and felt strange. Even though he could pull of the attacks, they lacked power behind them. He then looked at the weapons excitedly. If he could find a weapon that best suited him, could he possibly get to the same level as Jimin and Hoseok.

He grinned at the teacher and bowed.

"Thank you teacher. Let's begin!"
