29 Potential

Jungkook got into the routine of things. He had moved into the tiny dorm with the others. Donghyuk had recovered and finally met Jungkook, who was amazed with his powers and abilities, knowing how powerful it was to have a Power Designer like him at their backs.

He got into the flow of training everyday, developing his Spirit Calling while learning both Magic-Channelling as well as Battle Maging. The others had high expectations for him, and Jungkook did his best to live up to them. Hoseok would always keep an eye on him, making sire his wasn't pushing himself to far. It was clear that Jungkook pushed himself a lot but he didn't seem to slow down or tire, instead he seemed to be more invigorated as he went.

As they were training and experimenting in the workshop, Hitman Bang walked in. The boys immediately stood and bowed to him.

"Bang Pd-nim!"

He nodded as he walked in.

"How are you all doing? Jungkook, adjusting well to the team?"

Jungkook nodded.

"Yes, Bang Pd-nim."

He then turned to Namjoon who bowed again.

"We are experimenting a few things. Jungkook is an extremely talented young man with limitless potential. We are exploring different ways for us to properly utilize his powers and integrate him with the rest of the team. Although, as we progress, I feel that we would work best with the team integrating around him. His innate ability is truly something incredible."

Hitman Bang nodded as he looked at Jungkook warmly.

"That is true. The little one as something truly unique. But you must not forget your position. Your leadership is going to determine whether or not Jungkook can truly tap into that power. And you will need the right people gathered around you all to bring everyone's potentials to their peak. The group is good now. But it needs to be better."

Namjoon understood what Hitman Bang was trying to say.

"You have someone else in mind to join?"

The boys all looked over, their eyes lit up. With every addition that Hitman Bang brought in, the team were consistently blown away by the strength and power of their new trainee. They were expectant when they heard that Hitman Bang would be bringing in another person. He grinned.

"Even better. I have two possible prospects. One, I am not sure yet, I still wish to go over it with Namjoon in private. But he is someone that is already at the Academy. The second is a recent find of ours. I believe that he has the potential to grow to unthinkable heights. The second is the one I want to bring to you."

The others were excited. Two new recruits? One was already a student here? They were all buzzing at the thought of it. Hitman Bang continued.

"I will bring the new student in a few days to meet you all. Now, Namjoon, join me for a bit in my office."

Namjoon nodded before turning back to the others.

"Keep working. Let's try have a few toys to play with when the new guys arrive. Understood?"

The boys all nodded in response. Namjoon grinned and followed Hitman Bang out. The others all came together. Hoseok was excited.

"Who do you think the next member is? Another Battle Mage?"

Hyosang scratched his chin.

"I think another Spirit Caller. Currently, we are a heavy Magic-Channeller team, we need the balance of a couple more Spirit Callers."

Yoongi nodded in agreement.

"Spirit Caller. Definitely."

Jungkook nodded silently. Hoseok went over to Yoongi.

"Hyung, let's get back to work, I want to show the new guys something good."

The others grinned in agreement.

Namjoon entered the office with Hitman Bang. Hitman Bang pointed at the two folders on his desk.

"These are the two potential candidates. Take a look."

Namjoon walked over and looked at the first one. Hitman Bang spoke as Namjoon read.

"He is the one we will introduce in a few days. He was a lucky find. Our regional trials that we held out of Anima, he was the only one who passed. Originally, he wasn't even there to try out, he came to support a friend. Luckily, one of the staff saw potential in him. They contacted his parents and got permission for him to try out. He has a lot of potential so it will be interesting to see how far he can go."

Namjoon read the folder. The photo of the young man was striking, he seemed very charismatic. It said he didn't have much training but his affinity was high, meaning he had the potential to learn and grow. Namjoon scanned the profile intensely before finally putting it down and nodding at Hitman Bang. Hitman Bang gestured to the other folder.

"The other potential candidate is already here. He is training in another field, currently. But he has a unique ability that I feel would benefit the team in the Eidos field more than his current field of training. In time, he may be able to compete and battle in both, but I think his potential will bloom as an Eidos."

Namjoon opened the folder and was shocked. The face in the profile was extremely familiar.

"Him?"

A few days later, a young boy was walking through a forest. He had tanned skin and was very handsome. It was clear that he wouod grow to be even more handsome when he was older. He was carrying a bag on his shoulder and was holding a map. He was doing his best to follow the map but the forest was confusing him. As he walked around, he heard something to his right. He stood still and listened. He heard it again. It was a loud crashing sound. He walked through the trees, following the sounds.

He saw an opening in the trees which, as he got closer, opened up to reveal a large field. In the field, the young boy saw another young boy. An Adept. The young Adept was chanting and creating a ball of rock on his arm before firing it at a collection of dummies, crashing and exploding on impact. The young Adept chanted again, creating the ball of rock again and firing. He repeated the process, continually practicing.

The handsome young boy with the bag watched the young Adept in awe. He found the power this young boy was projecting extremely interesting. He could tell that the young boy was very powerful.

"Daebak!"

The young boy turned in shock and saw the young boy with the bag. The boy stepped forward and bowed.

"Sorry. I got lost and heard you practicing. You are very good."

The Adept blushed and scratched his head.

"Um thanks."

The two boys too there awkwardly for a few seconds, both of them clarely to shy to say anything. The young Adept spoke up first.

"Are you trying to find the Academy?"

The boy nodded.

"Yeah. It is my first day."

The young Adept's eyes lit up.

"You must be the new member!"

He ran forward to shake his hand.

"The team will be excited to meet you. Follow me."

Just as the boy was about to run off he turned back.

"Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. Jeon Jungkook. 13. Spirit Caller."

The boy with the bag nodded in reply.

"Kim Taehyung. 15. Nice to meet you."
