46 Make Me Move

The Magic-Channellers all made their way to the side of the arena. Seokjin was looking around nervously, but he couldn't find him. Jimin placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I don't think he is going to make it, hyung."

Seokjin sighed. Yoongi walked forward sluggishly. Behind him, two Adepts stood on either side of him. It was Jungkook and Hoseok. Hoseok chuckled at Yoongi.

"So hyung, are you going to just destroy the stage so you can go back to sleep."

Yoongi smirked.

"I was thinking about it, but Namjoon told me not to."

Jungkook giggled. Yoongi looked at the two of them.

"So you guys are joining the Magic-Channelling category as well?"

Jungkook nodded.

"I decided to join the three categories I had experience in. Although I probably won't win, I think it would be good to at least see where I stand in terms of power."

Yoongi nodded before turning to Hoseok.

"And you? You already have a spot in the team, I don't see any reason for you to join the Magic-Channelling battle as well."

Hoseok smiled.

"I know. But I have been training as a Magic-Channeller and I will need to grow in it alongside my Battle Maging, so I figured this is a good opportunity to push myself and grow as a Magic-Channeller."

Yoongi nodded again. He liked that attitude. He respected Hoseok for his willingness to grow and learn, he was always amazed by his ability to adapt and grow as an Adept while also not being influenced by his surroundings, staying true to himself. He was a reliable ally to have. The three of them joined the large group of Magic-Channellers. Namjoon had rejoined Hitman Bang. He stepped forward and spoke to the trainees.

"I am Kim Namjoon, codename: RM. As the leader of the team, as well as being a Magic-Channeller, Bang Pd-nim has given me the right to judge the Magic-Channelling competition. As a Magic-Channeller, you must have the power to dominate and own the battlefield. You must be an immovable object. Firm and strong, forcefully taking your place. So to see if you have that power, you will be competing in a battle of The King's Throne."

At this announcement, Yoongi grinned devilishly. Hoseok and Jungkook weren't as informed, so they didn't know what that was. Namjoon saw the grinning Yoongi in the crowd and inwardly chuckled. It was a battle that well suited Yoongi. And this was the point. Namjoon and Hitman Bang had decided that out of all the Magic-Channellers, Yoongi was definitely the strongest. So he was already a confirmed candidate for the team. So they were going to use Yoongi to test and gauge whether there was anyone that could come close or at least push Yoongi a little.

Namjoon continued explaining. He gestured to a wooden platform in the center of the field. It was elevated slightly and was clearly built through magic as it was stable, sturdy and strong.

"As you can see, we have built a small hill in the center of the field. This is the King' Throne. Your objective is simple, be the person on the Throne at the end of the timer."

The Magic-Channellers all looked at the wooden platform with desire burning in their eyes. Namjoon grinned at their reactions.

"Now, Hitman Bang and myself have discussed this beforehand, and we have chosen a Magic-Channeller to start as King, the person you will all need to 'dethrone'. Please step forward, Min Yoongi."

Yoongi chuckled as he came forward. They were really giving him every advantage. Namjoon obviously chose him and this game so that Yoongi could fully display his power. And if there was anyone that could still overcome it, they were definitely strong and deserved to be in the team. Yoongi called out to Namjoon as he got up on the platform.

"I don't know if I should thank you for making this easy for me, or be angry that you want to use me to test the trainees."

Namjoon laughed, as did Hitman Bang. Yoongi stood on the platform as the other trainees gathered around the arena, eyes locked on Yoongi. Jungkook and Hoseok were on the side whispering to each other. They nodded as they prepared for the battle. Namjoon called out to Yoongi.

"Yoongi hyung! Remember: no destroying the arena."

Yoongi smirked as he waved his hand. Namjoon grinned he raised his hand and paused before bringing it down. Yoongi stood perfectly still, his aura was suffocating and intimidating. He was just standing there, but everyone felt fear creeping into their hearts. No one made a move, so Yoongi spoke up.

"Come. Make me move."

To the trainees, this small young man was suddenly a terrifying mountain before them. The Magic-Channellers steeled their nerves as the began chanting and charging their power. Instantly, a bunch of different powers and energies began flying towards Yoongi. He stood there calmly as different attacks approached him from all sides. He chanted simply.

"Bul-ui byeog."

Around the platform, on all sides, flames burst up from the grounds and completely surrounded Yoongi. All the oncoming attacks smashed into the walls of fire and were pushed back. Yoongi was now standing in the center of this fortress of fire, the attacks from the other trainees were unable to get through it.

While the Magic-Channellers were stunned by the wall of fire, an explosion was heard. A large piece of rock was now sticking out of the ground and there were two trainees on the ground, unconscious. Jungkook stood by the rock and was looking at two other trainees as he chanted. Another large rock burst from the ground, slamming into the two trainees and knocking them out as well.

Close by him, a powerful wind was sweeping over the trainees, smashing into them and sending them flying away. At the center of the wind was a chanting Hoseok. Hoseok and Jungkook had decided to defeat everyone else and then team up to try and take down Yoongi. Yoongi saw what they were doing and understood their intentions.

"Let me help you two out then."

Yoongi began chanting again as the wall of fire grew. Suddenly, one side of the wall exploded forth, detaching itself and rushing forward like a giant tidal wave of flames. It swept up all the trainees in its oath, burning and pushing them all off the stage. In just one move, Yoongi had wiped out a quarter of the competitors. Seeing this, the trainees felt a crushing fear inside of themselves, they felt a sense of crisis and terror.

Jungkook and Hoseok, however, grinned in awe. As they continued attack other trainees, Hoseok shouted over to Jungkook.

"It looks like we are going to have to step up our game if we want to keep up with Yoongi hyung."

Jungkook nodded. The two came together as other trainees chased after them. Hoseok began chanting, summoning a surge of wind to build around them. It grew larger and larger. A hurricane. Hoseok and Jungkook stood in the centre of the raging winds. Jungkook began to chant as well. Rocks began to shoot up from the ground. These rocks were then swept up by Hoseok's wind before being sent out at incredible speeds, smashing colliding with the trainees.

Namjoon watched, visibly impressed.

"It seems that the two of them have grown a lot in power and control. Especially Hoseok."

Hitman Bang nodded.

"But they will need a lot more if they want to take out Yoongi."

Yoongi was also impressed by their growth. But he wasn't going to be outshined by his dongsaengs. He chanted as the walls shook and shot of in three different directions. Yoongi blew away the remaining trainees, and also smashed through Hoseok's hurricane. Jungkook and Hoseok were revealed as the hurricane dispersed, blown away by Yoongi's attack. They were stunned by Yoongi's raw power.

They looked around and saw that the arena was now completely clear of any other trainees. Now with the three of them left, Yoongi smirked at his two dongsaengs. He was curious to see what they would do. He looked at them both before calling over to them.

"Make me move."
