3 Iron

Hitman Bang smiled proudly at Namjoons response. Even though they had just met, he was extremely excited at the aspect of how far this young man would go.

But he knew better than anyone that it was a long journey, one that many quit from, but he had high expectations for Namjoon, and he was sure that he would meet them.

He turned around and made his way into the forest, seemingly disappearing in the trees.

Pdogg approached Namjoon with a smile as he extended his hand.

"Not bad. The boss is impressed. Not an easy feat to accomplish."

Namjoon grabbed Pdoggs hand and shook it.

"With you vouching for me, I knew I had to show off a little bit."

Pdogg laughed and let go of his hand and walked with him into the forest.

Namjoon had tried for another Academy but was rejected. He had met an Eidos MC known as Sleepy, one half of the MC team, Untouchable. Sleepy had seen the potential within Namjoon, even working with him a little, experimenting different Channeling maneuvers.

Sleepy then recommended Namjoon to Pdogg who then introduced him to Hitman.

Namjoon was extremely grateful towards Sleepy and Pdogg and did his best to not let them down in any way.

As they entered, Namjoon felt a strange aura as they walked through the forest. This place had a powerful source of energy, and yet even though it was a little overbearing, Namjoon felt quite comfortable in it. Almost as if it was soothing him.

"What is this place?"

Pdogg looked at Namjoon before replying.

"This is the Academy grounds, this is where you will train and improve yourself."

This was the Academy? But it was a forest. Namjoon deep in thought continued walking behind Pdogg until he stopped. Lost in thought, Namjoon didn't realize Pdogg had stopped and walked into him, pushing them into a branch and causing them both to fall to the ground. Pdogg got up and dusted himself off while Namjoon lay there for a second before standing up and apologizing. Pdogg just laughed in response.

"Hahaha you are still as clumsy as ever. Pay a little attention will you? Also try not to break anything."

Namjoon scratched the back of his head and chuckled, embarrassed. Pdogg pulled him past a tree until Namjoon could see.

There were no more trees as a large field was laid out before them. A building stood in the middle of the field. The area seemed to be divided into different sections.

To one side was a large pond, there was a section where all the grass was covered in ash and smoke was rising from it. Another section had a metal rod sticking out from the ground. These were elemental training areas, Namjoon recognized it immediately.

This place was starting to look more and more like a good place to be brought to.

Pdogg brought Namjoon over to the building in the middle.

As they approached, three big letters were written on the entrance.

BHA.

Before Namjoon had a chance to ask what that stood for, the front door of the building opened. Out stepped a young man wearing a black beanie. He was wearing a black and silver short sleeved top and black pants. But what drew Namjoons attention was the mark on his hand. A silver mark just like the one on his hand.

An Underground MC.

The young man noticed Namjoons mark at the same time. They locked eyes and an unspoken agreement seemed to be made.

Namjoon turned to Pdogg.

"Hyungnim, is there somewhere here that we could possibly have an exchange?"

Pdogg frowned at the question. But he also understood the culture of Underground Magic-Channeller's. They were built upon power and respect. He sighed before pointing to one of the sections.

"The large field over there should be suitable."

Namjoon bowed before walking towards the field, the young man following behind him.

They positioned themselves on opposite sides and bowed to each other.

"Kim Namjoon, 16. Underground Magic-Channeller. Codename: RM."

"Jung Hun-cheol, 18. Underground Magic Channeller. Codename: Iron."

They both started calling their respective powers out.

Namjoon coalesced his energy together and began his chanting.

"Beongae."

And image of a lightning bolt hovered behind him as bolts started shooting out of his hands, forming together to create a ball of lightning in front if him.

On the other side, Hun-cheol had started chanting as well.

"Cheol."

Silver liquid started flowing out of Iron's hands. They came together and solidified, forming metal spikes that floated around Hun-Cheol. Hun-Cheol looked at Namjoons lightning and couldn't help but impressed. He called out to Namjoon.

"We'll do this in a single shot."

"Sounds good." Namjoon said as he nodded in response.

Unlike the battle he had against the large group, he knew that it would be a waste of energy to just explode. They were small fry but this was another Underground MC.

He needed to take it seriously.

The lightning converged together to form a single, giant lightning bolt.

While on Hun-Cheol's side, he had formed a long metal spike with 8 smaller spikes orbiting around them. Something flashed in his eyes as he pushed his hands forward, causing the large spike and all the smaller spikes to fly forward. At the same time Namjoon sent his lightning bolt forward as well. The lightning bolt traveled faster than the metal spike, and Namjoon thought that he had the advantage.

Hun-cheol smirked as he started chanting again. The smaller spikes sped up one by one, piercing the lightning bolt. One by one they hit the lightning bolt and dispersed as the lightning bolts energy destroyed them. However, Namjoon realized that as each spike hit the lightning bolt, a piece of its power was being dispersed, bit by bit. The large spike finally made contact with the lightning bolt. The spike pierced it easily, destroying the lightning bolt.

The spike, although smaller and damaged, continued flying towards Namjoon.

He quickly chanted and created a wall of lightning to protect himself. The spike collided with the wall and exploded from the impact. Namjoon was knocked back a few steps but was OK. Hun-cheol looked impressed again; the speed of the lightning wall surprised him.

He was originally planning to just stop the spike before it reached Namjoon, yet he was able to destroy it at the last minute.

Namjoon stood up straight and then bowed to Hun-cheol.

"I concede."

Hun-cheol laughed as he rushed forward and put his hand on Namjoons shoulder.

"It was close. I just have a little more experience than you. In terms of power, you have me trumped. But I have slightly more control than you. The loss didn't mean anything."

"A loss is a loss. I just forced my power forward, I didn't think it through. No need to console me. I'll learn from this."

Hun-cheol laughed at this kid. He really pushes himself hard.

"No consoling. Just a show of respect. I'm guessing you're here to train as well?"

Namjoon nodded but stayed silent.

"Good. Then from here on out, we will be a team. Have each others back."

"That's just what I wanted to hear."

Namjoon and Iron turned to see where the voice had come from.

Hitman Bang was standing there with his hands in his pockets. Hun-cheol and Namjoon bowed in response.

"Bang Pdnim."

Hitman gestured to the two boys to follow him as he turned around and walked back to the building. Hun-cheol and Namjoon immediately came and stood on either side of Hitman and walked towards the building.

"The two of you have interesting energies. Individually you are extremely powerful for your ages. But I wonder what levels you could reach together. I want to help you both by training you as a duo. Bettering each other and breaking limits you couldn't pierce through alone. I can see that there is more to you and I wish to help you reach the top."

Namjoon and Hun-cheol glanced at each other. Namjoon nodded at Hun-cheol. Hun-cheol smiled in reply as he spoke on their behalf.

"We're willing. Train us Senior Hitman."

They reached the door and Hitman turned around to look at the two young men. A warm smile covered his face as he saw their certainty.

"Very well then. Iron and RM. Welcome to BigHit Academy."
