27 Illusionist

As Jungkook stood there scratching his head embarrassed, the others stood there staring in complete shock, none of them had expected this. He was such a quiet and shy young boy but had held such immense power within him. They were all taken aback by this.

Namjoon lit up. A large grin grew on his face as he pulled Jungkook in.

"Why are you so shy? Your power is amazing! You truly have a powerful gift!"

At Namjoon's words, the others all got excited and came to Jungkook with praise for their dongsaeng.

"Waah our Jungkook has such power!"

"Look how high up we are? I wasn't expecting you to be able to connect with such powerful Spirit's!"

"Our maknae is something else."

Seeing his hyungs all praise and smile around him, Jungkook felt happy and good that he showed his power to them. Namjoon had a excited look on his face as he looked at Jungkook. Yoongi noticed the face and chuckled.

"Looks like RM already has a crazy idea. What're you thinking Mr Leader?"

They all looked over to Namjoon, who replied with a small laugh.

"Let's go back to the workshop, I want to try a few things."

The others looked at each other and nodded. Jungkook looked at the small rock creature on his shoulder. The rock seemed to nod in understanding as it jumped off his shoulder, sinking into the ground. The ground then went back down, setting the field back to normal and looking like nothing had happened. The boys all looked at Jungkook impressed. Namjoon gestured to everyone.

"Let's go."

The boys nodded and walked back to the workshop. Jungkook was now grinning knowing that the others had accepted him. He was happy to see that they liked his powers. On the way back to the workshop, there were a few other students sitting at a bench.

Although Namjoon and the others were a part of a specialized team within the Academy, they weren't the only students here. In fact, there were some students here that were training to become different types of Adepts, specialized Adepts. Not all Adepts became Eidos or Renegade Adepts. Some ventured into different avenues. As Namjoon and the boys walked past the group, Jungkook was stunned at the young man sitting in the middle of the group. There really wasn't any other way to put it.

He was extremely handsome.

As they walked past, the handsome man noticed them and stood up. He seemed rather cold, which added to his attractive look. He looked over at Namjoon and the others silently.

"Jin-ah! Are you finished with your classes?"

Hyosang came out from the group as he approached the handsome young man. He smiled as Hyosang approached him.

"Yah, class was so long. I thought was never going to end. I wish I could be left to train on my own like you guys."

Hyosang laughed.

"It isn't as great as it looks. You have deadlines that you have to meet on your own. Plus we are being made to learn how to fight like Battle Mages which is extremely tiring."

The handsome man sighed.

"Yeah, we have been learning that too. I'm terrible at it."

The two boys laughed as Namjoon and the others stood there curiously looking at the two. Hyosang turned to see the others and quickly turned back.

"Sorry, I gotta go. Catch up later, yeah?"

The handsome man nodded as the shook hands.

"Easy. Later."

Hyosang nodded and came back to Namjoon and the others.

"Sorry, let's head back to the workshop."

The boys all headed back to the workshop. Hoseok came next to Hyosang.

"Hyung, who was that?"

Hyosang chuckled.

"He's a friend. Ran into him around the Academy. We're the same age so we just started hanging out. He's training to be an Illusionist."

The other's all nodded their heads as they understood. Illusionists were particular Adepts that were able to embody different forms, morphing themselves to become what is needed for them in different situations. They were highly adaptable. They didn't compete in the same class as an Eidos, however, they were Adapts that many looked up to.

They would work in teams with others to create powerful Illusions and stories which could be distributed out for others to see. They were able to empower, strengthen, comfort or entertain. Depending on the use, they were extremely useful and powerful tools. Although they wouldn't battle, they still held a large amount of respect from other Adept's.

Illusionists weren't only needed to have the ability, but having a good image was also helpful and needed. As they all thought about how the young man looked, it would make sense for him to aim to be an Illusionist.

The boys arrived back at the workshop. They all sat down and looked at Namjoon, who walked over to his desk. He grabbed something and walked back to Jungkook.

"This is a Word I want you to try using, see what you can do with it."

The others all looked over curiously to see what Namjoon was planning. Jungkook took the Word and looked at Namjoon confused. But he shook his head as he focused on the Word. The others watched as he read and memorized the Word. Slowly, the Word began to disintegrate and fly into Jungkook, being absorbed into him. Jungkook closed his eyes as his energy seemed to fill the room.

Jungkook then opened his eyes which had a small glow to them. He then looked at a practice dummy in the corner. He raised his hand as he pointed at the dummy and chanted. The ground began to shake, softly at first and then it became more and more violent. The boys were all panicking at the power of the shaking. The shaking then subsided slowly. Jungkook looked at his hand in awe.

Namjoon walked forward and looked at the dummy. Although the shaking was violent, the dummy was fine. He nodded in thought for a second before coming back to Jungkook.

"You have a lot of power, but there wasn't much control. You didn't have much direction so you just affected the whole room. I think that is your first goal. To push for more control in your direction and range. Then maybe you can be used as an all round attacker, able to pinpoint your area attacks and cause a lot of damage."

Yoongi stepped forward with a look of interest.

"So you're saying that he could become our centre point in group fights. Holding us together in the battle and adapt throughout the fight to provide the team with what it needs."

Namjoon grinned as he smiled.

"Bang Pd-nim said that Jungkook would become a key part of the team if we can get him to open up. I see what he meant."

Namjoon placed a hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

"You have the potential to play the part that the group needs. Whether it is as an attacker or a defender. Or to just support the others. You have a great power within you."

Namjoon turned to the others.

"Boys, let's get to work. I want to make some fun toys for us to go out and cause some havoc. Who's in?"

The others all grinned at each other. Hoseok clapped happily.

"Bangtan is back to wreak havoc. Let's do this!"
