9 i11evn Vs Suga

Namjoon and Hun-cheol were absolutely shook. They never expected this guy to have that much control. And the fact he was able to dominate his opponents magic and turn it on him, this guy was not normal.

Yoongi had left the stage and was lying down underneath a tree in the shade. The area had gone silent in shock of this display of power. It was also the first time in the whole competition that a judge had to step in to prevent a challenger from getting hurt.

Hitman Bang was the first to recover and ordered for the competition to continue. There were now four competitors left. However, the battles ended quickly. Ikje walked up on the field and began his match. His opponent created a shield of energy around him. Ikje's first attack cracked it slightly but the shield was still standing.

Ikje smiled as he chanted quickly. The air around the shield seemed to change and the young Magic-Channeller noticed it. The air seemed to be vibrating. Slow at first and then violently until the shield shattered. The force from the vibrations hit the young Magic-Channeller and he collapsed under the pressure. Ikje released his magic and the air once again became still. Another victory.

Yoongi and his opponent went up next. His opponent walked up arrogantly. He was tall and rather handsome and was clearly looking down on the short Yoongi. He called out to Yoongi before the battle began.

"Just surrender. I don't have time to play with kids."

Yoongi didn't respond. He just continued to look unfazed. As the judge began the match, Yoongi chanted extremely fast. His speed completely caught everyone off guard. One by one, fireballs began to appear behind, above and around Yoongi. More and more appeared, yet he continued to chant. The cocky Magic-Channeller had stopped chanting and was now stuttering and stammering. He was completely overwhelmed by the amount of fire Yoongi was creating.

As he continued to make more, the Magic-Channeller saw Yoongi's eyes. They were deadlocked on him and fear overwhelmed him. Yoongi had created at least 80 or 90 fireballs and was clearly about to let them loose. The arrogant youth fell down in terror and began yelling that he forfeited. Yoongi smirked and the fireballs all flew high up in the air before exploding. It was a grand and powerful explosion. Even though it was high up, everyone could still feel the heat from it.

Hitman Bang, Namjoon and Hun-cheol stared in awe of this Underground Magic-Channeller. Ikje smirked as he watched. He was excited at the prospect of battling someone this powerful. As Yoongi came down he passed Ikje. They both nodded at each other in acknowledgement.

The arrogant Magic-Channeller was still shaking in terror and was carried off. The staff cleaned the field quickly so they could move into the final match. The one that everyone was looking forward to.

I11evn versus Suga.

They both had a different demeanour about them as they walked on the field. It was clear that they were taking their opponents seriously this time. Unlike the previous battles, this time they showed their marks on their hands and introduced themselves to their opponents. A sign of respect.

"Choi Ikje. 23. Underground Magic-Channeller. Member of DNH. Codename: I11evn."

"Min Yoongi. 17. Underground Magic-Channeller and Power Designer. Codename: Suga."

Ikje got into a fighting stance as did Yoongi, which was the first time anyone had seen Yoongi do anything other than just stand still on the field. The judge got into position and gave the two a short glance.

"Begin."

The two boys began chanting. Like in his previous battles, Ikje sent force a powerful wave of vibrations, this time it was evident that the force behind it was stronger than previous times. Yoongi grinned as he created two flaming spears which shot out to the side and then, to everyone's astonishment, curved around the vibrations and headed towards Ikje.

Hitman Bang was very impressed. Instead of attacking the vibrations head on, he was able to control his flames to a degree that he could curve them whereas most Magic-Channellers had to throw their magic in straight lines. This took a lot of skill. To have this level of control, Hitman Bang knew that Yoongi must have an in-depth understanding of his Energy Flux. In fact the waves of energy that he was emitting, Hitman Bang, Hun-cheol and Namjoon could all feel it from where they were sitting.

However, now both Ikje and Yoongi had their opponents attacks heading in their direction. Yoongi moved first as he had been prepared for this in advance. He hadn't stopped chanting the entire time. Flames began to collect underneath him until it erupted and propelled Yoongi into the air. He shot off like a rocket, completely jumping over the wave of energy sent from Ikje.

Ikje gathered energy in his hand and sent out a burst of vibrations around him like a forcefield which deflected the spears just before they could hit him. Yoongi then came down and gracefully landed and faced Ikje. Their first exchange left everyone astonished as no one had been expecting to witness a battle of the calibre.

This time, Yoongi attacked first, sending out a wall of fire with flame spears behind it. Ikje couldn't see the spears due to the wall, so only focused on the wall. He sent a large sound wave over to disperse the wall. As it disintegrated he saw the spears and did his best to dodge what he could. He managed to dodge one but he knew that if Yoongi controlled them like he did the other ones, they could attack him from behind. So he needed to destroy the spears or directly attack Yoongi.

He sent forth a concentrated pulse which seemed to distort the air around it. Ikje managed to dodge most of the spears but was scraped by one. Although he was fine, he had been hit. Meanwhile, Yoongi felt a sense of crisis as the pulse neared him and he immediately built up a wall of fire to protect him. However he had to create it rather close to him as the pulse moved quickly and Ikje had sent it unexpectedly.

The wall had not fully formed so when the pulse hit it, there was a shockwave that sent Yoongi flying backwards. He landed on the edge of the field but was still inside so he wasn't out. But he was injured. The judge was about to run in but Yoongi waved his hand to tell him not to.

The power behind Ikje's attack was shocking, but Yoongi wouldn't give in so easily. He would continue to fight until he couldn't anymore. There was a fire that seemed to be burning in his eyes as he began chanting again. Ikje felt a sense of fear as the energy on Yoongi seemed to change. He hastily began to chant as he knew that Yoongi's next attack wouldn't be a normal one.

Hun-cheol and Namjoon went into shock as they noticed the color of the flames around Yoongi begin to change. The red flame started turning blue. Ikje knew he needed to stop him before he released his attack. That was a frightening energy that he was emitting.

Ikje released the move he used on his previous opponent. He distorted and vibrated the air around Yoongi. The pressure and force of the vibrations caused Yoongi to yell in pain. He was pushed down to his knees. Even though he was in this position and in pain, he continued to chant.

There was a fire in his eyes. He wouldn't stop fighting. This determination struck Ikje and scared him a little. Hitman Bang, Hun-cheol and Namjoon all couldn't believe the stubbornness of this young Adept. Ikje knew he needed to go all out to bring Yoongi down. He applied more pressure on to Yoongi and increased the strength of the vibrations.

Yoongi yelled again.
