25 Confidence

As they came over the forest, Jungkook looked out and over the vast forest. His eyes were wide open as he surveyed the landscape with excitement. He saw a large building come into view. The Travelling Flux Tool circled before landing in front of the building. Hitman Bang turned around.

"Namjoon. Show Jungkook around the Academy. Introduce him to the group. Then come to my office later."

Namjoon nodded. Hitman Bang smiled at Jungkook before getting out first and walking inside. Namjoon got out of the Flux Tool and waited for Jungkook. Jungkook slowly got out, looking around in awe of his surroundings.

Namjoon grinned at Jungkook's face.

"Aigoo ~~ such a cute little dongsaeng."

Jungkook looked back at Namjoon and blushed. Namjoon chuckled.

"You don't need to be so nervous. We all look out for each other. If you need anything, I'll help in any way I can."

Jungkook looked at Namjoon and smiled. He could feel the sincerity of Namjoon's words. Jungkook bowed.

"Thank you, hyung. Please take care of me."

Namjoon grinned and pulled him along with him.

"I'll introduce you to the others. They're all good people so you don't need to worry about that."

The two boys walked inside. As they entered, Namjoon waved at the receptionist.

"Hello, noona. This is Jungkook, he is a new student here at Big Hit."

Jungkook nervously bowed to the lady behind the desk. The lady squealed as she jumped up and came around.

"Aigoo ~~ he's so cute! Look at his doe-y deer eyes."

Hearing the woman's reactions, a few of the staff peeked their heads out to see what was going on. All the female staff reacted in the same way as they all came out and surrounded the young boy.

"Awww look at his cute hair! So adorable!"

"He has such squishy cheeks!"

"If you need anything, you can come and ask noona and I will help you out."

Namjoon was chuckling at the attention and affection the young boy was receiving. And he understood it completely. Jungkook and such an innocent gaze as he looked around that one couldn't help but be drawn in by his cuteness.

Jungkook blushed as he was surrounded by all these people. He was extremely shy and, although he knew they all meant well, it was still a little overwhelming for him. Namjoon could see that in him and stepped in.

"OK, noona's. I need to take little Jungkook to meet the rest of the team."

Namjoon bowed politely as he guided Jungkook out. The staff all waved and lovingly told Namjoon to look after little Jungkook. As they walked down the hall, Namjoon giggled at Jungkook.

"You just arrived and you are already so popular with the staff. And yet you seem so shy."

Jungkook smiled slightly.

"Yeah. I'm not good with large groups of people."

Namjoon frowned as he walked through a door.

"But you want to be an Adept? You know that you will need to fight in front of large audiences, right?"

Jungkook nodded.

"I know. I need to work on it. But this is what I want to do."

Namjoon heard the resolution in his voice, even though he spoke softly. Namjoom stopped in front of a door.

"Very well then. If you truly want this, then I will do what I can to help you grow into an Adept who can confidently step out onto any arena and fight with confidence."

Jungkook looked firmly into Namjoon's eyes for the first time and nodded.

"Thank you hyung."

Namjoon liked having a dongsaeng to care for. He nodded in reply.

"Well, it's time to meet the others."

Namjoon opened the door and walked in.

"Hey guys, I got something special with me."

Hoseok looked up and walked over.

"Is it food? Did you bring food?"

Hyosang called over while he was working on a small piece of metal.

"If it's food, count me in."

Yoongi just stayed at his desk working quietly. Namjoon turned around.

"Come on in."

Jungkook nervously shuffled forward looking at the floor, his hands politely over his stomach as he bowed extremely formally.

"Um...He-Hello I-I-I'm Jeon J-Jungkook. N-Nice to meet you all."

Hyosang turned around and looked over curiously. Yoongi continued working at his desk. Hoseok looked at Jungkook and grinned widely.

"Woah, he's so young and cute. Hey, I'm Jung Hoseok, but you can just call me Hope. Are you new here."

Jungkook felt comfortable with this hyung, he was very friendly. He nodded.

"Yes, I just joined to day. Namjoon hyung is showing me around."

Although he still spoke quietly and softly, he wasn't stuttering anymore. Hoseok put his arm around Jungkook's shoulders casually and pulled him over.

"This is Hyosang hyung."

Hyosang nodded to Jungkook.

"Welcome to Big Hit."

Jungkook bowed again.

"It is nice to meet you Hyosang hyung."

Hoseok then took him over to Yoongi.

"The scary hyung over here is Yoongi."

Hoseok then whispered in Jungkook's ear.

"He looks cold but he's actually really kind. And cold is the wrong word to use since he burns everything in his path."

Yoongi turned to look at Jungkook. Jungkook was instantly intimidated by this scary hyung and bowed.

"H-Hello Yoongi hyung."

Yoongi nodded and went back to working.

"There is also Donghyuk who is a really awesome Power Designer, but he is umm."

Hoseok paused. Jungkook turned and saw that the others had all gone quiet. He could feel that the atmosphere had changed quickly. Namjoon cleared his throat as he scary tapped forward.

"Donghyuk is injured and recovering at the moment, you'll meet him at another time. But this is the team currently. Donghyuk will support us as a Power Designer."

Hoseok had regained his smile and pulled on Jungkook.

"So what kind of Adept is our little Jungkook?"

Jungkook shyly cleared his throat.

"Um, I am a Spirit Callers."

Yoongi turned around, seemingly interested now.

"Show us."

Hoseok nodded excitedly.

"Yeah, show us what you got."

Hyosang and Namjoon came around and stood in front of him in anticipation. With everyone looking at him, Jungkook became even more nervous. The others all looked at him, waiting for him. Jungkook became more and more anxious around he couldn't get himself to react and froze up. Namjoon remembered Jungkook saying how shy he was and then saw that water was collecting in Jungkook's eyes.

Namjoon placed his hand on his shoulder.

"You can just show us later. It's OK. Don't worry too much."

Jungkook saw the caring look in Namjoon's eyes and looked at the floor.

"Thank you hyung. Sorry."

Jungkook felt bad that he couldn't get himself to show his powers in front of them. The others looked at Namjoon with looks of confusion and curiosity. Namjoon sighed.

"Jungkook was sought after by multiple companies. I just came back with Bang Pd-nim and I had to take on a bunch of groups from different Academies that all wanted Jungkook. But his biggest issue is confidence. He is to shy to bring out his power in front of people."

Realization hit the others as they all began to think this through. Jungkook continued looking at the ground feeling foolish for being this way. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. As he looked up, he was met with a scary stare. Yoongi was standing in front of him.

"You can trust us. We will help you break this shell of yours. We are going to push you until you overcome this. Got it?"

Jungkook looked back in shock. He didn't expect this to come from such a scary looking person. Without even waiting for his reply, Yoongi went back to his desk and continued working. Namjoon, Hoseok and Hyosang all looked at each other and giggled to themselves. Hoseok came next to Jungkook.

"Told you. He looks cold but his just all fluffy inside."

"I can still burn you to a crisp."

Hoseok went silent at Yoongi''s comment. Hyosang and Namjoon chuckled. Namjoon patted Jungkook on the back.

"Don't feel too bad. In time, things will become easier. We're all here for you and will help you grow. Don't sweat it."

Jungkook felt better hearing his new hyungs say these things. He could feel that they were all genuine with what they said. Hyosang and Hoseok began discussing Hybrid Flux''s as they walked over to a desk. Namjoon walked over to a desk.

"If you want to get more confident, practice. Put in the work and there's no stopping you. Take a seat. Your one of us now."

Jungkook stood there watching the others all work on different things on their desks. Jungkook grinned feeling a lot more at ease. He sat down next to Namjoon.

"So, what're you working on, hyung?"

Namjoon grinned as he began explaining his work to Jungkook.
